Cooper's Hawk Winery on International Drive delivered a truly memorable night out. The overall…read moreexperience was excellent from start to finish, largely thanks to an amazing service team that kept everything running seamlessly and made us feel genuinely welcomed. As expected from a winery, the wine selection was outstanding and easily the star of the table. When it came to the dining, it was a bit of a mixed bag, though the appetizers got things off to a strong start. The quesadilla was packed with flavor and really hit the mark. The Drunken Shrimp, however, missed the landing--they were slightly dry and had a noticeably chewy texture. For the main course, the filet mignon medallions/tenderloin were decent in flavor, but the meat was a bit too chewy for what should have been a melt-in-your-mouth cut. Even with a couple of hiccups on the kitchen side, the stellar wine, fantastic appetizers, and top-tier service carried the evening. It's definitely a solid, fun spot to visit on I-Drive, and we'd happily return.

Hands down the star of the show was the shrimp dish, perfectly cooked, packed with flavor, and honestly some of the best we've had in a while. If you're looking for a great happy hour with a standout menu item, The Whyskey delivers. We'll definitely be back!

We chose seats at the bar and were greeted promptly by Brian and Rowan. Because there were a lot of people and just the two of them, they were running around taking orders from tables as well as servicing the bar so it did take a little bit to get our drink orders in, but we were enjoying looking through the whiskey library anyways. I started off with a Suncreek blonde ale. It is strawberry blonde ale and it's delicious. My husband started with the Yingling. He keeps hoping they will bring the Kentucky bourbon ale back on tap again. For lunch, I got the whiskey dip which is full of chopped beef with cheese and onions. Served with an herb, dipping sauce, and your choice of side. I opted for the sweet potato waffle fries because they are delicious. My husband got a burger with fries cooked perfectly. Once we are done with our food, we did opt for a taster. My husband had to go through several different bottles before he found one they actually had in stock. That is one of the downside is the whiskey library that is online is not always reflective of what they actually have in stock as he was really looking forward to trying the old Fitzgerald birthday, but alas, they did not have it in stock. He ended up going with the jack Daniels 12 year and really enjoyed it. I opted for the widow Jane 14 year very sweet easy to drink. Great service from Bryan and Rowan always enjoy seeing them behind the bar

Helios Bar & Dining at Loews Hotel Orlando The experience…read moreat Helios starts the moment you step off the elevator. Between the music, the atmosphere, and the panoramic views, I instantly felt like I had stepped into a movie. On this occasion, I had the pleasure of dining with @Tammy W., who introduced me to the Orlando Magical Dining Experience which is a month-long celebration featuring some of Orlando's finest restaurants. We had to wait a little while for our table, so we spent some time at the bar, which is definitely a great spot for people-watching and mingling. Our bartender was fantastic and made a delicious Cosmopolitan. For Magical Dining, we enjoyed a three-course meal. We started with the Farmer's Cheese and Fried Halloumi. Both appetizers were scrumptious, but the Fried Halloumi was my favorite thanks to its crunchy texture and unique blend of spices. For our entrées, we chose the Risotto al Limone and Petite Beef Medallions. Both were absolutely delicious, but the smoked risotto really stole the show. The presentation and especially the dramatic reveal was an experience in itself! Of course, I had to save room for dessert. We ordered Mount Vesuvius and A Night at the Opera. While both were delicious, A Night at the Opera was the clear favorite for my taste buds. The combination of its soft, spongy texture, lemony zing, and sweetness made it the perfect ending. It was sweet, refreshing, and incredibly satisfying. And just when we thought the evening couldn't get any better, we were treated to the Epic Universe fountain show during dinner. Talk about dinner and entertainment all in one! If you enjoy beautiful views, great food, cocktails, and a little entertainment with your dining experience, Helios is definitely a place to put on your list.

Incredible vibes, views, and food. Mediocre service…read more I've seen a theme on service here in the reviews, and we experienced a subpar experience in terms of service. We were sat on time for our reservation, but it took about 20 mins to order. Things sped up after that, but it was so dragged out from the late start. We noticed the tables next to us being offered extra bread by another server, but ours was nowhere to be found. I think she had too many tables. However, she forgot my husband's soda, and we did have to ask for it to be taken off the bill at the end. In terms of the food, I could not recommend the food enough. Everything was so good. The farmer's cheese, the patatas bravas, scallops, steak, and desserts were all so good. I'll be dreaming of the scallops and the farmer's cheese for a long time. The views are awesome. Epic Universe is not just a theme park. It's an architectural marvel, and like a dream world. Parking is validated at the valet.

I was immediately greeted by the hostess. I explained that it was my first time and she was kind enough to make some menu recommendations. Since it was early we were promptly seating. We took the stairs to our table upstairs. We were seated near a wall and the bar. I waiter promptly came over to greet us. I wanted to try a few things but the brunch menu was sort of limited. I opted for crispy Mac & cheese bites, french toast, and breakfast croissant sandwich. The mac & cheese bites were crispy but could have used a little more seasoning and a little more cheese filling. The French toast was 2 pieces of toast with maple syrup and fruit. I opted to leave the fruit off with the current health concerns with raw food. It would have been nice to have been offered a substitute but I wasn't so I paid $18 for 2 pieces of French toast. I feel like the French toast would have been a better choice if it was accompanied with choice of, chicken sausage or regular sausage and eggs. That would have made a more complete brunch. The French toast was ok but could have used a little more flavor (ie cinnamon, vanilla, etc). The syrup was a very good grade of maple syrup and tasted so good. I did add 2 eggs for $6. Lastly had the breakfast croissant sandwich with grits. The sandwich was good I did substitute the regular sausage for chicken sausage. The chicken sausage was delicious. I was very pleased with the grits they were so good. Overall, the portions are small especially for the price. The restaurant is in a prime location, right in the center of Disney Springs and offers both indoor and outdoor seating. I would like to return for lunch or dinner in the cooler months so I may dine on the second floor patio over looking Disney Springs.

Everything took quite some time to reach the table, but we started out very patient and enjoyed our appetizers once they arrived. I chose the Caesar salad and my boyfriend chose the calamari. We also noticed on the main menu, they had two dollar oysters, so we ordered half a dozen. I ordered the salmon and he ordered the steak. The salmon was served on a bed of spinach and sweet potato purée. It was delicious. It was the perfect portion-- the steak unfortunately did not come with any sides. If you wanted any sides, you had to add them on additionally. We knew this going into the evening so we had no problem with that. I don't eat red meat, but my boyfriend said he enjoyed the steak. Unfortunately, when it came to ordering desserts, we ended up waiting over 30 minutes to receive them. I started to grow more impatient and requested the desserts to be boxed up to take home. We noticed the table next to us had been served their desserts before us even though we ordered before them, but we also noticed that they had a different server. I ordered the banana dessert, which was probably smaller than my fist. My boyfriend ordered the chocolate cake, which I forgot to snag a photo of, but it was very creamy and delicious. Once we received the bill, we noticed that we were charged four dollars per oyster rather than the two dollars that the menu reflected. The manager explained that we were served a happy hour menu not their regular menu and she was going to adjust the price just this one time. We appreciated the offer and she ended up actually comping the entire entirety of the oysters! This was a kind gesture. Although I was very irritated with how long it took to get the desserts, I appreciated that the managers kindness. For that reason, I usually tend to avoid liquor based drinks because they're usually on the light side with a very mixer-forward pour. However, this little bar tucked away in Harry Potter world serves a drink that's well worth your time & money. While they offer draft & canned beer, wine & non alcoholic beverages, the real star here is the Lobe Blaster. This dangerous, yet delicious, drink is a mix of moonshine, limoncello, absinthe & has an emulsion verte floater; it sure does the trick. It's mixed with lemon juice, club soda & simple syrup so it's super refreshing also. The rosemary gives it a nice aromatic profile as you drink it. The bartenders were really nice & they fully play into the theme. There wasn't too big of a line when I went but the drinks are poured to order so it takes a little bit of time. As long as it's under 20 minutes, I'd be okay with waiting. I found for the price point, this drink is by far the best tasting & strongest drink in Epic Universe. In fact, I've never had a drink this good (or strong) at any theme park. If you're in Epic Universe & seeking out a delicious adult beverage then look no further than Bar Moonshine.
