Another gem on the island that has reviews that I don't quite understand! Everything we ordered here was perfect. We started with the scallion pancake with salmon and the shrimp Shumai. Both were special in their own ways and were very good. We then got the ichiban, California and dynamite roll. My personal fav was the ichiban. The fish was fresh and was presented perfectly. The amount we ordered was great for two people and will forever be a staple when visiting. Service was quick and ambiance was pretty being outside! Definitely recommend for some yum sushi!

Edamame

Enjoyed dinner with the fam at Bar Yoshi. The shishito peppers are a must if they are available. Perfectly blistered and seasoned. Edamame app is a healthy serving and a toddler favorite the sushi rolls were fresh and also toddler approved. Service was very good. Server was attentive and Pleasant. Would visit again.

Yakitori and Vegetable Spring Rolls

Food and service were great! We got the vegetable spring rolls and beef Yakitori for starters. Highly recommend both. I had the ramen with chicken for my meal and it was delicious.

Tuna poke bowl with sushi rice, edamame

Reservations are limited bc patio and bar are open seating. So glad we asked, so we knew to pop by for lunch. We were seated quickly outside across the way. Two glasses of Veuve and poke bowls - we're so happy. Service was friendly and attentive. Great spot to people watch. The tuna in the poke bowl was perfectly firm and cold. It's a huge portion. Same with the edamame. Biggest portion I've ever seen.

Atmosphere

Bar Yoshi is right on the water, and has a warm and cozy yet modern atmosphere. We stopped in for drinks and an appetizer. I had the Island Time cocktail, and it was nice, but could've used a bit more flavor. We ordered the Nantucket Tuna and Salmon rolls. They were great, fish tasted fresh. Would definitely come back again!

I got the Tokyo Ramen a few nights ago. Only get it if you want bagged ramen with some frozen veggies put in a bowl for $20 plus tax.

Food is fine, not great but ok if you need sushi. Not friendly and not very nice to kids although they have high chairs and AC.

There's a place to park, I can walk in, order a fried fish sandwich, look at some lobsters in a tank for ten minutes (the best part) and be out the door with a hot n ready fried fish sandwich in my hands. On my last visit, the woman at the counter was so happy. I was already happy because I was getting a fried fish sandwich. And then I was feeding off of her energy, and I was just having such a great moment in Sayle's Seafood! Now, I could sit in and eat here and bask in their fishy glory since there are tables, but I have yet to do so. I also love the view of the harbor from the front porch and that it's tucked down that little street and the vibe is so island that it contributes to the over-romanticism of Nantucket that happens in my mind but that's okay. The fish sandwich was really good. The time before that, I ordered the clam strips side, which was a lot smaller than I believed it was going to be. They were small individual pieces and fried well-done, while I do prefer a softer crunch. Next time, I will order the clam strip platter which comes with accoutrements. I also had their clam chowder, which I also thought was pretty good. I will be back for more seafood, and I hope that it is soon!

We sat on the deck, and the staff was so sweet--they literally took the lobster straight from the tank to the back to steam it. They even cracked it for us! It is located in the center of town so in a house converted into a restaurant. I started out with Tuna Taraki which was five slices of fresh tuna on a bed of curry topped with a sliced plum. It was delicious. As an entree I had the swordfish that was seared. It was a large portion that filled me right up. The waiter was marginal. We asked if he had after dinner port be the glass. A simple request. He disappeared for 15 minutes while he checked. This required a yes or no answer from the kitchen. As it turns out, they did not have it. The restaurant had about twenty table with a separate bar area. The dining room was dimly lit. I would return whenever I am on the island. It is a top-notch restaurant.

After having been brought to our seats at the bar, then told they were reserved, we were walked back outside to sidewalk and into adjacent restaurant's (boarding house) dark & dank -empty- bar (with music blaring), we asked if an outside sidewalk table was available. Yes but we needed to eat & leave by 7:15. It was 6:15. We said yes because we knew (ASSUMED) that was possible. Though there were 3 2-seat tables available, she put at a table almost on top of a table of 6...3 very loud & ill behaved children. And that's where we remained, waiting a while for "server" to ask us for drink order, then finally take our dinner order (never mentioned the specials; I had to ask) and then we waited & waited (meantime 7:15 came & went) for our very small servings of boring (& room temp) cod & even smaller ("share plate"?!?) of crudo. And because the plates most likely sat in kitchen & wee ignored by pit "server" the fish was not hot and the crudo was not cold. Never again Pearl, never again

No reservations and early season, we had no problem snagging a table for 2. However, a friend recently shared they were told a 45 minute wait the other day. Prices and portions are reasonable to that of the Brotherhood and the Trap, and well executed. The fish tacos were delicious and my son's burger was basic but delicious. Heads up, while no kids menu, they did say they had a secret one - I'm imagining coming from so many families popping in. The burger as was $18 and a double patty with no toppings and homemade chips. The chowder was also really good with I believe some pork in there. It's been a minute, so I'm a little rusty. Service was great and kind. I didn't order any cocktails, but they did look small for the price - they may be bottled? I could be lying there. I saw a many a fried seafood and fries platter go by and they looked so good and fresh and crispy, in the best way possible. Overall, five star addition! I'm sure the lines have begun, but it's worthy of a wait, especially over at the Gazebo, so perfectly convenient. Ps: they also have a retail portion but I did not pay much attention to that side.

The volume of finely shredded lobster meat, that was also warm in that hot dog roll was smaller than the Jimmy Dean link. 0-Stars. My recommendations for a "good" lobster roll is to go anywhere else on island. I'd recommend Sayle's Seafood, The Nantucket Lobster Trap or Stubby's. In fact, I'd just stay clear of the Club Car altogether, it is one of those places for the self-focused New York / Miami new [vulgar] money jet-set that treat the island like their play-thing... you know, you see their empty beer cans in the morning around town.
