The bartenders really know their craft, make great recommendations, and we've had some seriously amazing cocktails here. Unfortunately, on multiple visits we started to feel increasingly unwelcome. It's honestly difficult to explain because there wasn't necessarily one specific interaction I can point to, but there was a noticeable feeling that we just weren't wanted there. Whether it was certain interactions with staff or simply the overall energy around us, we both picked up on it more than once. I don't know if it was because we didn't necessarily fit the typical demographic or vibe of the crowd there, and I don't want to assume anyone's intentions. I can only speak to how we felt, and unfortunately, we repeatedly left feeling uncomfortable and out of place. It's genuinely such a shame because we loved this bar so much in the beginning. It has such a fun atmosphere, and the cocktails are fantastic. We have some really great memories from our earlier visits, but after feeling this way on multiple occasions, we've decided we won't be returning.

Service is typically efficient, though there is usually only one bartender or two working so if they're busy, you may have to wait a bit. Food (4/5): On my first visit, I had some food. They have a small menu, mostly consisting of Asian fusion dishes. Think things like loaded fries with bulgogi. Which was delicious by the way. If you're looking for a large menu, you won't find that here. But what they have, they do well. Drinks (4.5/5): I love a dive bar with quality cocktails. They have an interesting list of cocktails and I haven't had one I haven't liked. To make things better, they often have specials. And they also have Jell-O shots. This was actually my second chance giving Lola's another opportunity because I genuinely like the vibe of the place. The first time, my group of only six people was still enjoying drinks when staff told us we had to leave at 11:00 p.m. because there wasn't enough business to justify staying open. That experience was disappointing, but I decided to give them another shot anyway. Sadly, after this experience, I won't be returning.
