I went in there while out shopping and having done much needed me time! Bar Louie was just opening, so I sat at the bar to have a blue moon. Xavier was the bar tender and he was super sweet, attitude was very pleasant, and super attentive ! The restaurant was tidy and I had a pleasant time. Other customers began to come in after me and Xavier made sure to check on me ! I didn't order food this time around, just drinks! However this time was drastically different than my last visit so I would come back again!

Sequoia and Derrick bring ELITE customer service and made our 1st Bar Louie experience amazing! Mami wanted the espresso martini BAD and even with a broken espresso machine, Derrick was able to make things work out. We ordered the following during happy hour: Monkey shoulder shot: 7/10 cool, strong Havana classic mojito passion fruit: 7/10 fresh Fall spiced old fashioned: 10/10 perfect amount of sweet. Fall vibes for men Espresso martini: 9/10 good and strong Thai crispy Calamari: 9/10 should be tossed in sauce, still good. Spinach & artichoke dip: 10/10 wish there was more Truffle mushroom and asparagus flatbread: 8/10 way too much artichokes, very flavorful. Chicken quesadilla: 9/10 very good Overall a very good first experience and we will be returning. Check this place out for happy hour.

Came here around 11pm for a late night bite to eat. We sat at the bar, service was ok. I wasn't expecting stellar service anyway late at night. To my surprise, it was karaoke night. That was entertaining to watch. I ordered the Nashville chicken sliders--they were tasty! It definitely seemed like they were trying to get people out of here at last call; the workers were ready to go home and so was I so I wasn't too bothered by it. I've been here multiple times so I'm sure I'll be back again.

I recently visited this establishment on Tuesday, July 29th.. When we walked in it wasn't busy at all.. Only a few people were there. We sat at the bar, we were greeted & Sydney was pleasant in the beginning.. We ordered 2 drinks a piece, the calamari, pretzel bites, Buffalo Chicken flatbread, truffle fries, salmon sliders.. We received our 1st drink.. It took a while for the food to come out.. Then I received my calamari & flatbread.. They overcooked the calamari which was very disappointing.. It was fried too hard that you could not enjoy the taste of it.. It was more crumbs in the dish than the calamari.. Buffalo chicken flatbread was delicious.. Truffle fries were not tasty at all.. They had the truffle sauce on the side & not incorporated on the fries.. The salmon sliders were delicious, but the tots that came with it were cold.. We didn't receive the pretzel bites until we were ready to leave.. Several times we asked how long & were told they're coming right up.. At the end of our visit I asked did the check.. She informed right away.. She never came back with it.. Proceeded to assist someone with preparing drinks.. Asked a 2nd time & still had to wait .. Finally got the check after having to ask a 3rd time.. I had questions about the receipt & the server got smart.. That's really put me on edge & after she received a tip.. It was simple question regarding the charge & she had an attitude.. So it will be awhile before I visit again.. Especially will not have her wait on me.. In any establishment make sure your bartenders & servers can handle when it starts to get a little busy.. Ensure that they honestly are people that can positively interact with customers well

My friends and I stopped in for a quick cocktail before they had to catch a flight back home to Boston. The drinks were lovely and our bartender was fantastic! Super friendly and very knowledgeable about the drinks. I highly recommend this spot!

What could I ever say negative about this establishment?! Each time I dine here I'm greeted with smiles, my server is friendly and attentive and the vibe is always on point. Though they were super busy with graduation celebrations, thus time was no different with the service i received. The drinks here are delicious and I have never had a drink made that I didn't enjoy and the Lemon Drop is always a winner. I didn't think I would enjoy anything more than my usual classic margarita but Bar Louie's mixologist always steps it up a notch and knocks it out the box with the Lemon Drops so I'm back again for another. I've also become addicted to this Cobb salad, healthy and filling. Trish, thanks for being a great server! I'll be back.

Attended an event here and here are my specific thoughts on what we tried. Drinks: I tried the purple reign, royal red sangria, and the rosé spritz. The royal red sangria was perfect. I feel like it's hard for me to find sangria's I like. Usually they are not sweet enough for my liking. This one was perfect. The rosé spritz was also really good. All three's were good in fact and I'd order them again. Food: the black bean hummus I did not mind at all! I am not a fan of beans but this tasted pretty good. The buffalo chips had ranch on them and I also don't like ranch, but it was light and and actually tasted good. I would order that again. I liked the chicken tenders and how they were choped up into smaller pieces and that they came with 2 different seasonings and 3 sauces. The only sauce I did not care for was the hot honey (was too sweet for my liking to add to chicken). The sweet chili and chipotle bbq were perfect. We also had a pizza that had bacon on it. Tasted really good, especially with a little bit of honey, but I would have preferred for the bacon to be chopped up smaller (personal preference). Would order that again too! For my main course, I got the truffle crunch burger with no mushrooms. I really liked that burger and would order it again. I order my burgers medium. It was cooked perfectly and had the perfect amount of flavor for a burger, in my opinion. I also tried a piece of their 'Big Louie' burger and it was good too. They definitely make very good burgers. My friend tried the patty melt sandwich and the kickin fried chicken sandwich. She liked the patty melt the best between the two. Dessert was their donut holes (not pictured). Personal preference would be if they were a little softer and if it also came with 1 cup of caramel sauce and 1 cup of chocolate sauce instead of two cups of chocolate sauce. Wish this location was closer to me because I could definitely see myself being a regular here. The service was great and I really like the area the restaurant is in.

Are there bottomless mimosas for brunch?

No, it's "almost" bottomless. I believer you get 4 or 5 glasses.

My friends and I chose Of Love & Regret as our local neighborhood brunch destination on a Sunday…read moremorning. It was dimly lit, lowkey, and quiet- great for our group of 5 (plus one baby). The service was a little prompt but a little confusing as we had two waitresses that did not seem to be communicating since we got asked the same question multiple times by both. The food did come out quickly though! I ordered The Roma sandwich and swapped the fries for the kale caesar salad. The chicken was juicy and paired well with the fresh tomato, field greens, and creamy aioli. The fresh rosemary focaccia was buttery, however, it was still dry and flaky and fell apart rather easily so it was hard to actually eat it as a sandwich. The kale salad was veryyy creamy and heavily dressed with lots of cheese so that's great if that's your jam- I just enjoy a lighter salad. I did steal a french fry from my friend and they were salty, crispy, and quite delicious. The rest of the food was ordered by my friends and are their flavor reports. The hangover burrito was devoured by my two friends, but the words "structural integrity" were mentioned multiple times- unsure if this was due to a weak tortilla, wrapping skills, or a combination of both. My friend's shroom burger was average- the patty was a little dry and underseasoned, but the umami mushrooms and garlicky sauce saved it. The beet burger was savory, paired well with the vinegar and aioli sauces, and is a great vegetarian option. My biggest complaint about this establishment was the price. The food was all decent, but my bill for one drink and one sandwich was $50 total, which I deem as pretty steep.

One of the things I love most about this place is their seasonal menu. They're always introducing new dishes, so there's something different to look forward to with every visit! For their fall menu, I tried the Brown Butter Cavatelli, and it was absolutely delicious! The pasta was perfectly prepared, and the flavors paired beautifully with the kale and fennel sausage. I also tried their 14 oz. New York Strip, which was cooked to perfection and seasoned beautifully. The accompanying potatoes complemented the steak so well, adding another layer of flavor that really elevated the dish. One thing I will ALWAYS order when I come here is the Housemade Whipped Ricotta. It's hands down my favorite shareable on the menu! The combination of creamy ricotta, grilled bread, and sweet yet savory flavors is just perfect. Their housemade focaccia is another one of my go-to favorites and is definitely worth trying! As for drinks, I love their cosmopolitans, but this time I also decided to try one of their seasonal cocktails called In the Pom of Your Hand (I believe that's the name!), and I highly recommend it! Beyond the food and drinks, the atmosphere is what makes Copper Shark such a standout for me. The ambiance is warm and intimate, with beautiful seating and the perfect setting for a romantic date night. The staff is consistently kind, attentive, and efficient, making every visit feel welcoming.

Which was expected. Nonetheless every drink on the menu piqued my interested. I settled on two cocktails for the night and they were both delicious. Especially the gin and cucumber based cocktail. For food I decided on the Oklahoma burger. Which was 2 smash burgers, cheese, pickles, fried onions, and a fancy sauce. This burger was finger licking good. And I devoured the whole thing including the fries. Wet City has a nice menu selection and a vibe to match which are two things that will keep me coming back in the future.

I could not get enough of the beautiful view. I was slightly kicking myself for not taking a sunrise timelapse video. Upon checking in, my girlfriend and I took a quick tour of the lobby and the bar upstairs. We opted to grab a cup of coffee at Formula Espresso (the coffee shop/convenience store in the lobby). They use Illy espresso beans which are some of my favorite. We each ordered latte's and they were delicious. Formula Espresso also has a small wine selection, we picked up a bottle so we could have a drink in our room before dinner while taking in the incredible view. While we were touring the hotel, someone stopped by and dropped off some chocolates which paired perfectly with the bottle of red we picked up and it made for a great pre-dinner snack. The hotel restaurant is called Explorers Lounge and it has a bit of a safari feel to it which matches the global feel of the menu. We started with apps and shared the Thai Chicken Tower which had the most delightful peanut sauce. I'm a sucker for peanut sauce and I couldn't get enough of this dish. We also tried the Sonesta Grilled Beef Turnover which I think was my favorite bite of the evening. The grilled steak was griddled in a tortilla with onions and cheese and served with a creamy, spicy sauce. It was a great way to start the meal. For our entrees, my girlfriend went with the Steak Diane. The grilled sirloin was served with onions and tomatoes over a creamy risotto. This was the ultimate steak dinner and she loved every bite. I ordered the Grilled Crusted Pacific Salmon. The dish was so fresh and light and I was crazy about the citrus butter sauce. Another great dish. After dinner, we enjoyed some of the chocolates that the hotel sent over and the bottle of wine we picked up. We also filled out the room service breakfast card because there truly is nothing better than breakfast in bed. I did make it a point to wake up early to catch the sunrise over the harbor which was truly stunning. When breakfast came, it was a delicious spread of all of our breakfast favorites. We decided to share a little bit of everything. It was all delicious but the French Toast really satisfied my sweet tooth. After breakfast, unfortunately it was time to check out.
