Stumbled upon their open mic standup comedy show, the guy hosting it was really funny and cool (Jeff???) and the bartender was pretty nice (Young Chris???) and no one made fun of me except one guy who implied I was a loser for wearing overalls which I am but I think mostly for other reasons, if anything that's just the icing on top of the loser cake. Um so yeah it was a fun night and the comedians were a mix of funny and ok and I appreciated every one of them. read more

This is probably my favorite place to watch football in all of Bozeman. They have huge tv's all over the bar and the staff are always more than happy to put your game of choice on. I'm not much of a drinker, but they have 2 for 1's every Sunday which seems to get patrons in the football spirit. At halftime, they also have fun bar games to play like skee ball! read more

The food definitely was just alright, but if you want a loud busy atmosphere for dancing, getting sloppy and drinking then this is your place. Party scene. Stopped in again and had a charming conversation with Nina. We always feel so welcome here. Great lunch and warm environment.

The staff was nice and they were trying as hard as they could. But we waited 2+ hours for our brunch orders and only half of us ever even received our food. People left because they were so hungry and there was no sign that we were going to get served anytime soon. Most of the orders we did get were wrong, and the chicken fried steak was really bizarre - it seemed like it has clam sauce or something else fishy on it. Poor management... The bar wasn't super busy but they were still clearly under staffed. Not sure I'll come back here for food, as there are many better places to watch NFL games in this town. Not the gals fault who were behind the bar, but it was a pretty bad experience. read more

Absolutely fantastic service. The loaded baked potato soup was mush (think baby food), cheese curds so-so; however, the buffalo bits were quite tasty (we had the sriracha sweet honey). Went in on Monday for happy hour, had a great experience. Beers were cheap, service was great, and free Buck hunter game and free ski-ball! Had the bottomless wing special for $10, sauces were really good, the only downside for me is that they are boneless wings (personal preference). Love this bar! Really fun atmosphere with a DJ playing all the top hits everyone likes. Place filled up around 11, and the hot bartenders even got on the bar and danced for a few songs to get the crowd excited. Now that's not something you see everyday! Bar 1X hosted a "Meet and Greet" for the night before my daughter and son in laws wedding. It was a great way for all the guests from NJ that came to Montana to meet and mingle before the wedding. The drinks and appetizers were plentiful and delicious. The setting was perfect, inside upstairs and outside on the patio. The owner and his wife are easy to work with, did everything we asked for and the night was perfect. It's a very cool bar and setting. read more

Would have been an OK place had the experience with the bouncers not been so bad. Someone got pushed near me (I was not at all involved in the incident), and I immediately got grabbed and punched in the face, and thrown outside on the cement. I understand its crammed but that made for a pretty terrible experience. read more
