Conveniently located in the Hyatt (where we stayed), I made reservations for the terrace which would've been great but the weather did not cooperate - an easy change to dining in. Ready to eat, we started with the slider appetizers that came with a nice quantity of fries. Not to overlook the shrimp appetizer, we ordered those too. All were great! The sliders were nicely seasoned and the shrimp were plump and fried perfectly. While I probably could've stopped there, we'd heard the chicken sandwich was good so yeah..we got that AND steak tacos. The steak tacos could've stayed out of the equation. The meat tasted like it came from frozen and the seasoning was forgotten. It was bland. The chicken on the sandwich was good but the toppings were slim...a baby piece of lettuce and barely there tomato.

Located in the Hyatt, it has some nice indoor and outdoor seating a little close to the water. Note that happy hour ends at about 6pm so get in a little early if you'd like to take advantage of it. Would recommend you make a reservation before stopping by, as it and other establishments in the National harbor area can get pretty busy on Friday nights/weekends. The menu is quite extensive there were lots of food options. We started with the wings and calamari, both tasty but also comparable to what you'd get in a typical bar. The buttermilk chicken sandwich was also tasty but my favorite was the chicken cheese ravioli pasta. The portions were decent, not excessive and you could probably finish it in one go. Our waiter was super sweet, but service was a little slow because it got a little busy as the night went on. Although there are so many other restaurant options would still recommend if you're in the mood for some American bar-ish food options.

Loaded fries (I added the ranch...they're not loaded without ranch...just sayin), mini sliders, and yeungling...does life get better?!

The minisliders are da bomb! The loaded fries are excellent! Maurice is great! I will be trying more foods to comment on

False advertising. Hh 4 to 6 not 4 to 7.

So I recently visited Bar Harbor today which is located in the Hyatt at the National Harbor, right across the street from the Silver Dinner. The food was decent. I had the sweet and spicy shrimp. There were 5 jumbo fried shrimp that were glazed with some type of sauce. There was no dipping sauce and it would have been better with a dipping sauce. Now the service was great with Maurice at the bar. He was pleasant and paid great attention to me. So the service was not the issue. The bathrooms were also cleaned and so was the bar. But the food was the issue abd the advertisement in the time for happy hour was the issue. So the flag outside said that hh was 4 to 7 but it ended at 6. I mentioned that to Maurice and he said they have to take the flag down. But what in the world. Why advertise something that is untruthful and a blatant lie to customers. Just my observations. And the food needs some work and they didn't have liquor on happy hour, only wine and beer. I would recommend new chefs and truthful and honest advertising of their hh times. But service at the bar was great.

Located at the Hyatt Place hotel at the National Harbor, this was a pleasant experience. Our server, Maurice, did a great job and was very accommodating from the moment we sat down until when we left. There is a full bar with TVs, and it wasn't packed during Sunday Night Football which is always a plus for me. Plenty of seating with booths and couches. The food was pretty good as well. We ordered the chicken nachos and the buffalo wings for our starters (which are pictured in this review). Both were pretty good options, I would order them again if I were to return. For our entrees, we had the breakfast burger (just a burger with a fried egg on it) and the ravioli. Both were good choices. All in all, a nice place to consider when in the area.

    Sliders were really good!

Food was delicious I loved eating here because it was quiet and had a nice view of the sky

We started out with their sample platter of bites which had fried pickles, deviled eggs and buffalo cauliflower. Everything was great and was completely eaten by the group. We also got a pan of cornbread which was similarly devoured. I had a salmon entree for my main and it was very good, served over some succotash which I also enjoyed. Note, the portion for chicken and waffles is huge...a colleague got that and could barely finish it. We had some chocolate pecan pie and banana pudding for dessert and both were good but I'd say the banana pudding was my favorite. Overall a great experience at a reasonable price.

LOVE their menu additions / updates (crab dip, etc.) but we all agreed we'll skip Redstone's food moving forward. Everything was mediocre and lacked seasoning. The buffalo shrimp, brussel sprouts and cornbread were decent, but it was just too much hit or miss with everything else we ordered. Suffice it to say, I was not a fan this time. The good: the buttery rolls came out hot and smelled amazing; they can make a lactose-free version. The midding: the vegetarian noodle bowl was a very large serving compared to everything else (one person remarked that it seemed bottomless). Cocktail menu was interesting, but my colleague's nonalcoholic cocktail was a miss. The bad; Someone else's chicken was undercooked. The salad greens were drenched in dressing, so I just ate the cherry tomatoes. The white rice and mixed veg that came with my salmon were just meh. Unfortunately, the biggest issue here is consistently poor service. From the moment we sit down, we clearly communicate that we're not using the food bar and want to proceed directly with the table-side meats. Despite that, it always takes an unreasonable amount of time just to receive the red/green cards so service can even begin. That delay happens every single visit. Even once we're ready, we're often left waiting with little to no attention. What's especially frustrating is that the floor managers only seem to step in after we're visibly trying to get someone's attention--literally looking around and "cracking our necks" to find help. Only then does the service suddenly improve, which shows the capability is there--it's just not consistent or proactive. On our most recent visit, the experience was even worse. The meat rotation was limited, with mostly overcooked options (medium-well to well done) and a heavy focus on basic white meats. We had to specifically request cuts like picanha and ribeye, and those took an additional 15-20 minutes to come out. By that point, we had already spent about 45 minutes waiting, our child was restless, and our patience was gone. For a $160-$220 meal after tip, it's unacceptable to spend most of the time waiting just to get the items you actually came for. We kept coming back hoping for a better experience, but this was our last visit. There are too many other options at National Harbor to deal with this level of inconsistency.
