Why a great night at Bond 45! We are in town for a conference and decided to get a nightcap before heading back to the hotel. We had such a great time it was hard to leave. The staff was for sure the highlight of the night, then the drinks and the dessert. All equally 10/10! The restaurant is very open with plenty of seating at the bar, and tables inside and outside. While we didn't have food, the menu looked phenomenal with a variety of appetizers, pastas, seafood, steak, lamb chops. You'll basically be able to take anyone and they can find something on the menu. We started with the passionfruit margarita which I highly suggest getting. It was just the way passionfruit should be - a little sour and not too sweet. I also had a Bond Blossom which again, was amazing. It's a cranberry infused gin based cocktail. The tanginess of the cranberry and the sweetness of the elderflower was nothing short of perfect. We also split dessert - chocolate cake, cannolis, tiramisu and red velvet cake. I can't say which was my favorite because they were all delicious. I would be cutting my review short if I didn't mention the hospitality of the staff. Everyone was friendly and the general manager made us feel like we were at home. They made an ordinary Tuesday very special. Needless to say, next time I'm at the National Harbor, I will be back!

A top choice for a visit to the harbor! Literally from the ambiance to the service, views of the wharf and live entertainment to the food and cocktails - Kevin was so knowledgeable and helpful when it came to menu recommendations. My mom and I visited for an early seafood dinner. We ordered the pear salad to start (which was phenomenal) with a Bianca Sangria and White Peach Margarita. For dinner, we had lobster ravioli, the crab cake & shrimp and shared broccolini and lobster mac & cheese. They brought out the lobster mashed potatoes instead but quickly corrected the mistake, and we had an extra comp'd side. Overall - this visit left a great impression. I hope to return during their 4-6 happy hour and check out what that vibe is like.

Service was great, clean, noisy, but okay. Waiter Bryce knew the menu so he made ordering easy for someone like me who only eats chicken and turkey. Wings were okay, $24 I think for 5 or 6, not worth it, didn't taste like mumbo to me either, cooked decent though. Alfredo with grilled chicken was good, flavorful and I added broccolini to it once I cut it up, so good. Wings kept this from being a 5 star.

Vegan entree consisting of several sides - Roasted Mushrooms, Greenbeans, Brussel Sprouts, and stewed beans and tomatoes.

I dined at Bond 45 during a recent work trip to Baltimore. Our server was pleasant and attentive, but was uncertain about the ingredients in menu items, making it challenging for members of our group with dietary limitations to feel confident in ordering (vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free). None of the appetizers are vegan, so I wasn't able to enjoy any of these, however our server was fairly confident that the lemon vinaigrette that dressed the house salad was vegan and it was delicious. Similarly, there are no vegan entrees on the menu so my dinner consisted of a platter of sides - roasted mushrooms, green beans, brussels sprouts, and stewed beans - admittedly very tasty but in this day and age where so many people are moving in a plant forward direction I was surprised at the lack of intentionally vegan options. When inquiring about dessert I was not offered a vegan choice, so opted for decaf coffee (very good) while my dining companions sampled the chocolate mousse cake, tiramisu, and vanilla bean cheesecake. On the way out I noticed another patron enjoying a cup of raspberry sorbet, so it appears there was a vegan option about which our server wasn't aware. It was quite loud in the area in which we were seated which made conversation difficult. The following day my throat was a little scratchy from having to shout throughout our dinner. Overall Bond 45 is... fine, but I wouldn't proactively choose to dine here again based on my experience.

I've always saw Bond 45 when at the Harbor, and I finally got the chance to try it out. On the day, I went (in summertime), the AC wasn't working and they had big fans throughout the restaurant. We ended up sitting in the covered outside area, which provided some cooler air. The service was nice, but I'd say the food was just alright. I don't think it was something to rave about. I had the seafood risotto and something about it tasted funny. Maybe I just made a bad choice for an entree.

Was here for Thanksgiving dinner. The restaurant was decorated nicely and our server really took care of us. I think his name was Eric. He was so sweet and patient with us. I ordered the branzino and it was so good! The skin was nice and crispy. This was my first time here and hope to get back before they close for good.

Great experience with colleagues while visiting for a conference just steps from our hotel. I will say the waiting staff seemed rushed but I know we had a later reservation due to events earlier in the day. The salad was delicious as well as the appetizers (not pictured). They have a moderately extensive menu. I had the seafood risotto. It was mediocre but full of shrimp. I was missing something in the flavor. It was not really well-seasoned but the texture was fairly rich. I like a rich, seasoned risotto like that at Georgia Sea Grill in St. Simons Island, Georgia, which is my favorite. I'd return and would like to try a different entree. The ambiance is old school Italian ristorante.

I had planned to try the Fooduary menu, but the main menu was calling my name--and it did not disappoint! From the moment we checked in, we were greeted with a glass of Champagne (a classy touch!). Our server, Brisayon was top-tier--super knowledgeable, down to earth, and delivered impeccable service. If you visit, make sure you ask for him! What we tried: Lavender Lemon Drop - smooth & refreshing Dancing Shrimp - flavorful with a perfect kick Steamed Mussels - fresh & satisfying Baked Whole Sea Bass - perfectly cooked, packed with flavor Chocolate Mousse Cake - the perfect sweet ending From the service to the food, @bond45nh is a must-visit! It's definitely a gem at the national harbor !

We wanted to experience our favorite restaurant in the National Harbor so we dropped in for brunch. As always, the decor didn't disappoint. Our waiter was friendly. We ordered the steak and eggs, the shrimp and grits, and a house salad for our brunch entrees. We decided on the passion fruit margarita and the Bianca sangria for our beverages. The steak and eggs are accompanied by breakfast potatoes and greens. I asked for my steak to be prepared medium rare but it was on the rare side. While the flavor was great from the char of the grill, the NY steak was a little tough. I don't think I would order it again. My wife enjoyed the shrimp and grits. Both cocktails were good.

When I am craving Italian, Bond 45 always come to mind. I want a nice italain meal in nice inviting Italian restaurant with views of the Potomac River. On this visit, I tried the Lobster Ravioli with the upgrade 1/2lb Lobster upgrade. The meail was well portioned between Ravioli and Lobster. As a Lobster fan, I always want more. The Raviolis were each perfectly cooked. The dish comes with 3 sauce options: marina, alfredo, or mixed 50/50. I had the alfredo sauce but the marinara sauce looked just as good as well. The service was great and servers was very attentive. Of course, after having such a delightful meal, I had to end the meal with a espresso martini. I needed a little coffee, with a kick. I look forward to my next visit.

I was excited to try this please but left disappointed. I do need to give Sam and the staff a shout out for exemplary service. He was great but the rest was not. For a table setting they put us on the end and in the path of the bathroom. Multiple times I had to move in or get up from the table to give access to the long hallway and the bathroom. I would expect that in a food hall not an upscale restaurant. The food was good but not for the price. Strange pricing on the spirits for the menu- some outrageous ranges on the value of what was being served. I would encourage you to try it out for the first time with a happy hour!

Was staying in National Harbor for a conference and wanted some Italian for dinner. Bond 45 was just a short walk from my hotel. The Ossobuco was fall of the bone tender and delicious. The lobster macaroni and cheese was cooked perfectly. They were out of their Tiramisu so I had the cannoli instead. All was delicious. Service was good. I recommend eating here if you're staying in National Harbor

We went for lunch and was quickly seated, but plan enough time to enjoy your meal. Our group ordered the Full Churrasco that came with the "salad" bar, which included various cheeses, fruits, greens, and other items that were all very fresh. The meats were all excellent, with the ones that stood out to me being the bottom sirloin, lamb, and sausage. Perhaps our only minor complaint would have been the slowness of new meat arrivals in the middle of our meal. The beverages were also spot on, with our group having soda, wine, and a cocktail. Would I return here again? Yes, but you are paying for the experience and quality.

Unfortunately, the biggest issue here is consistently poor service. From the moment we sit down, we clearly communicate that we're not using the food bar and want to proceed directly with the table-side meats. Despite that, it always takes an unreasonable amount of time just to receive the red/green cards so service can even begin. That delay happens every single visit. Even once we're ready, we're often left waiting with little to no attention. What's especially frustrating is that the floor managers only seem to step in after we're visibly trying to get someone's attention--literally looking around and "cracking our necks" to find help. Only then does the service suddenly improve, which shows the capability is there--it's just not consistent or proactive. On our most recent visit, the experience was even worse. The meat rotation was limited, with mostly overcooked options (medium-well to well done) and a heavy focus on basic white meats. We had to specifically request cuts like picanha and ribeye, and those took an additional 15-20 minutes to come out. By that point, we had already spent about 45 minutes waiting, our child was restless, and our patience was gone. For a $160-$220 meal after tip, it's unacceptable to spend most of the time waiting just to get the items you actually came for. We kept coming back hoping for a better experience, but this was our last visit. There are too many other options at National Harbor to deal with this level of inconsistency.

The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was amazing, and we had such a great time from beginning to end. Our waiter, Ibrahim, was phenomenal. He took exceptional care of our table, was professional, attentive, and truly elevated the entire dining experience. He walked us through all of the specials -- from the Chilean sea bass to the espresso-rubbed filet mignon -- and everything sounded so good that we ended up trying a little bit of everything. And let me tell you... every single dish delivered. For appetizers we had the Rockefeller oysters, whiskey shrimp and kale Caesar salads. For entrees, I personally had the red snapper entree and the scallop entree, and I also ordered the ribeye for the table. Other dishes included the espresso filet, a Mediterranean branzino along with another entrée featuring crab cake, shrimp, and salmon. Everything was flavorful, perfectly prepared, and beautifully presented. Everyone at the table thoroughly enjoyed their meals. One of the highlights of the evening was when Ibrahim smoked our drinks tableside for us. It added such a fun and memorable touch to an already special night. He also took the time to explain the history behind the restaurant, and it was such an informative and meaningful story. That said, our waiter Reuben was very kind and did what he could to turn things around. He comped some items and brought out bread pudding, which ended up being the best thing we had. The ambience in the bar area was decent, with nice smaller tables and good music, but it was so loud we could barely hear each other. Food overall was hit or miss. The calamari was just okay, but the breading was falling off and the sauce was runny. The clam chowder was actually pretty good, according to my friends. Unfortunately, the entrées were the biggest letdown; one steak came out rare instead of medium well, and my salmon looked slimy and unappetizing. Overall, between the long wait times and disappointing entrées, I wouldn't return. I do appreciate our waiter Reuben though for trying to improve the experience, so shout out to him!

We ordered the ribeye, New York steak, and filet mignon, all cooked to perfection. The Oysters Rockefeller were superb! I had asked for my daughter's meal to come out as soon as possible, and they made it happen without hesitation, which we really appreciated. For sides, we had the Brussels sprouts--perfectly balanced, sweet but not overly so--and the creamed corn, which was absolutely on point. We didn't end up ordering dessert, but the options looked amazing and tempting! Todd came by our table to check in, which added such a personal touch. The ambiance was lovely, and as we were leaving, Todd walked us outside and spent a few moments chatting with us--it truly meant a lot. Todd and Alison made our experience at The Oaks unforgettable, along with the incredible food. Thank you both--we hope to see you again soon! --SoCal Visitors

Lots of wood and dark colors. Great service from Shawn. We tried the Ribeye and NY Strip. Both were ok. Not much seasoning. Lots of marbling. Both had significant sections of fat. For me, wasn't the best cut for either. Both were ok steaks. We had the fries and cream corn. The fries are made with a beef fat. Tasty. The cream corn has a lot of cheese on top and throughout (see pic). That wasn't a favorite for me. Was more like a mac and cheese. Pricing was for a Ruth Chris experience but fell flat on delivery. As an example, went to The Wharf a few days later and had their NY strip, with crab cake, and sides all for the same price. It was a much superior cut of steak and the flavors were fantastic.

No fault of his, but beverages were missed, refills were slow, 2 orders were forgotten. *Sigh* As for the food ... LOVE their menu additions / updates (crab dip, etc.) but we all agreed we'll skip Redstone's food moving forward. Everything was mediocre and lacked seasoning. The ranch wings had NO flavor, the barbecue sauce on the barbecue wings was good but the wings were just as unseasoned as the ranch wings. The buffalo shrimp, brussel sprouts and cornbread were decent, but it was just too much hit or miss with everything else we ordered. Suffice it to say, I was not a fan this time. However, I would absolutely return to chill and enjoy some cocktails in their outdoor space. NGL, that fire pit area is prime real estate at the harbor! Would love to hear YOUR opinion. The good: the buttery rolls came out hot and smelled amazing; they can make a lactose-free version. The salmon and ribs were good, and of the plate of delicious desserts, the banana cream pudding was a standout. The midding: the vegetarian noodle bowl was a very large serving compared to everything else (one person remarked that it seemed bottomless). Cocktail menu was interesting, but my colleague's nonalcoholic cocktail was a miss. The bad; Someone else's chicken was undercooked. The salad greens were drenched in dressing, so I just ate the cherry tomatoes. The white rice and mixed veg that came with my salmon were just meh. Finally, quite loud inside; I was hoarse from shouting.

We were seated inside, which had a decent amount of seating. I thought the restaurant was cute, and it had a nice ambience. We ordered several dishes, starting with the cajun crawfish Mac & cheese, crab stuffed oysters, and charred spring vegetables. All 3 starters were delicious, with my favorite being the crab stuffed oysters. The Mac & cheese was a close second - it was nicely seasoned and perfectly au dente. The vegetables were also very good, and the pita it came with was great. On the breakfast menu, we ordered the chicken and waffles and shrimp and grits. Both were very good. I haven't had many chicken and waffles, but the chicken was tasty with the hot honey. The shrimp and grits was very flavorful. If I had to pick one though, I would probably pick the shrimp and grits. The service was solid, she was very friendly and came back a decent number of times. I would 100% come back again!

We walked in and were blessed to immediately get a table despite being told it may be an hour wait on the phone. We received a menu and ordered the breakfast burrito and the biscuits and gravy. Our food came extremely fast which surprised me and makes me wonder how much is prepped ahead. My friend received the burrito and it was very greasy so she requested to order something else. My biscuits and gravy were yummy. The eggs were cooked well and the fried chicken was the star of the show. Easily this was some of the best chicken I have had in a while. I overall enjoyed my meal but I wish there was way more gravy as there was only a little bit layered on top of the 2 biscuits. My friend was given a menu to order something else and this menu was different and had dinner options. It was 4:30 when we came and not more than 15 minutes of difference before receiving a menu the second time so we were surprised but eager to look. My friend ordered the half chicken which came with collard greens and grits. Since there was a different menu I wasn't aware of I wanted to order something additional and opted for saving the brunch meal I ordered for breakfast tomorrow. I loveeee scallops so when I seen them on the menu especially over grits I had to order it. The scallops were cooked wonderfully and I loved the composition of the dish with the creamy grits and the acid from the tomatoes and the smokiness of the sauce and grits. My friend loved the half chicken and after trying it myself we both agreed Matt and Tony's knows how to cook chicken well. The greens had nice flavor but were a little dry and needed some broth/juice from cooking. Again the grits were delicious and creamy with a bit of smoky flavor. I also had the Peso Cocktail which was sweet with a nice kick. Overall I enjoyed this restaurant and would come again and absolute what I ordered again as well. Coming here next time will be hard cause I'm definitely going to be battling between wanting what I already had and trying something new.

For appetizers, I ordered the fried oyster deviled eggs, and wow... they were so good. The little fried oysters on top of the deviled eggs were such a perfect combination. Crispy, creamy, flavorful -- definitely something I would order again without hesitation. For my entrée, I had the whole grilled branzino served over a green bean and fennel salad, and let me tell you... this was hands down one of the best branzinos I've ever had. The fish was seasoned perfectly and cooked beautifully. And that green bean and fennel salad underneath? So much better than I expected. I actually considered swapping it out, and I'm so glad I didn't because it completed the dish perfectly. Every bite was delicious. I also had a cocktail called the Endless Summer -- a tequila drink with this amazing foam on top -- and it was excellent. I asked the bartender for a recommendation, and she absolutely delivered. The bartender was friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. I went by myself, sat at the bar, and genuinely enjoyed every minute of it. Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere, and just an overall really enjoyable experience. I will definitely be back, and I absolutely recommend checking it out if you're at the Harbor.
