The new set lasted less than three months and one stopped working. I took it back and they swapped it for another model as they no longer carried the original. The other one broke a few weeks ago, and between the two they were used maybe ten times max. The store, the manager, and the website refused to do anything because their storecdid not complete any paperwork on the original exchange. This used to be the place for quality products and Furst class service, obviously no longer.

We had dinner reservations in Winnetka and had an hour to use up before eating, so we drove over to Crate & Barrel for a little shopping therapy. This Northbrook store is a nice representative of the chain, carrying all of the usual merchandise you've come to expect. For us we always gravitate to the glassware where the Crate & Barrels have a great selection. We especially like the Aspen line which is made in Slovakia, and on this visit purchased a box of eight martini glasses: while you can spend $15 per glass on some brands if you desire, this line has more reasonable prices like $6.25 ... $49.95 for eight. We also got a few other items as Crate & Barrels are famous for stocking a few things that you won't find anywhere else. Nice visit. Crate & Barrels show that brick and mortar stores aren't done yet and can compete with the Amazons very nicely.

Crate and Barrel systematically and routinely engages in fraudulent advertising related to availability & scheduling of their products. Items listed as in-stock regularly turn out not to be in stock but you will only find this out after you pay. Delivery scheduling dates are committed & promised at checkout and pushed out (months) with no recourse. I've personally filed complaints with the Michicgan Attorney General, Minnesota Attorney General, and BBB. Crate and Barrel responded to the BBB complaint effectively saying "Yeah we lied about timelines, oh well and we'll keep doing it to other people." So, you've been warned. Room & Board is better quality and they are honest. Crate & Barrel is dishonest and fraudulent.

Rayna helped me with the product selection. She was knowledgable and responded to my requests in a timely manner. She was also very pleasant and very nice to work with. Brett did the measuring. He, also, was very professsional, answered my questions, and made some good suggestions. The installers were great, too. They worked quickly and carefully, and did a very nice job of clean up. I got a very good feeling for this company right away. A gentleman came to take a look at my granite. He said he wasn't too hopeful about the stain being removed. He put something on it that he left overnight. When he came back the next day and took the material off, the stain was still there. Then he cleaned the granite and resealed the granite. A few hours later when I returned from an appointment, I was happy to see that my granite was perfect! The stain was completely gone. I am so happy.
