The atmosphere is definitely lounge-y in this nicely decorated bar. We got a nice corner area with a cushy set to lounge in for a while. Beers and Cocktails a little on the pricey side, but my Strawberry Fields Martini was delicious. We also got to try some food. The crab and asparagus flatbread was just OK. Lots of crab actually, but just pretty bland. I ended up dunking it into our artichoke and spinach dip, which was actually quite good. The dip itself was delicious, and came with a variety of starches for dunking. If I were to return I'd get that dip again for sure. read more

Enjoyed this place when we went here for New Year's. Not overcrowded and a plus no cover. Drinks are hotel bar prices but they definitely had a heavy hand! They had a dj for the night and a lot of seating which I was impressed with. The bartenders are speedy and there is a huge mix and age range (hence it's a hotel bar). Good spot to grab a drink and an appetizer. The place is a little expensive however it is a great hang out spot. They also feature house made pineapple infused vodka which in a drink is probably good, however, on the rocks is even better. We got the artichoke dip which came with red pepper hummus as well as the orange BBQ wings. The food was good, but not the best I have had. The dip was very cheesey but the artichokes were a little undercooked and crunchy. The wings had a good flavor, but a lot of sauce and the meat wasn't exactly falling off the bone. Again, good, but not great. I would recommend a stop by but probably not for a full dinner. read more

After a delicious dinner at KO Prime, we decided to head to Bar10 for some drinks. When we walked in, there was no one greeting us, or to show us around the bar area, and we were a little confused as to whether the tables were free or not. After we ordered drinks at the bar, the bartender informed us that it was free seating. we managed to find a table even though it was a Saturday night. Then the nightmare began. My friend wanted to order an additional drink, but the waitress couldnt have seemed more aloof. she walked by us on SEVERAL occasions and simply refused to acknowledge us. It wasnt until another friend of ours had arrived before she came over and lazily took our order. One of my friends had ordered the Strawberry lemonade, and when it arrived, she informed the waitress that it tasted a bit too strong and probably wasnt what she ordered. The waitress angrily told us that it was indeed and lemondrop martini. Right. We have rarely felt the need to complain to the manager, but our experience, or lack of a good experience at Bar10 forced us to complain to the manager. Thankfully, he was understanding, otherwise Bar10 would get an even lower rating from me. read more

Ohh bar 10. This place is suave, dark, and chic . It's located in the Westin Copley hotel, so the convenience is fantastic. I often paid visits to this place after late night events at the Boston Public Library. The food is great, esp. the Arugula goat cheese flatbread pizza. This place was the first hotel bar/lounge that I visited when I moved to boston and certainly has remained on my radar. The service is ok, nothing stellar. The drinks are strong and the patrons are an interesting mix of tourists staying at the hotel and boston bar goers looking for a place to kick back, relax, and indulge in quality cocktails. read more

Bar 10 is the first restaurant i have been to in Boston, it is located in the lobby of the Westin Copley Place. I like the environmental not so crowded and loud, It's nice to have a relaxing drink after travel and watching football. The foods I give 5 starts for the classic salad and 3 starts for the lobster and shrimp, but the England clam chowder was terrible. I give 3 stars for the service. I will come again for the classic salad and maybe a cocktail cuz the place it's easy to hit. read more

It's been a while since I've been there but they have one of the best burgers around. Comes on a toasted buttery brioche bun with crispy but not greasy fries. Get one with the caramelized onions and you won't regret it. I found out that this burger is also available at Turner Fisheries. Guess it comes out of the same kitchen since they are in the same hotel. I don't drink but my friends love the bar as well. Can get very crowded since it has a happening bar scene. Because it's a hotel bar and not really "open" to the masses, in a sense, from the few times I've been here, the bar has never been too crowded. Whenever someone I know wants to grab a drink to talk, I recommend Bar 10 because, as I mentioned, it isn't crowded, isn't too loud, and finding a seat/table is almost always possible. Drinks are also good (pending what you get of course) and the servers are pretty attentive. I'll have to try their food sometime so I have a full perspective on the place. read more

We stopped in for an early drink on a hot Friday afternoon. The bar was not crowded but the service was slow and inattentive. What is the difference between a martini in a stem glass and a martini in a stemless glass? Everything. The whole thing was a bit sad. Maybe it was the distraction of the world cup game. 15 minutes is my limit to wait for a server or bartender to acknowledge you when they aren't even busy.

I love love love Bar 10. Its never too busy and always an interesting crowd. Great booths/tables. Its very comfortable. I am in love with their Toscana Pizza - flat bread pizza with arugula on top. I also love that they give you honey mustard pretzels with your beverage of choice. Speaking of which - Orange Ice, Green Monster and Platinum Martinis are a must while at Bar 10. read more

So, I just came upon this place by accident the other day. I was pleasantly surprised! Had decent food, good drinks and friendly service. The rosemary fries that came with the sliders I had are a must try! It was mid afternoon and pretty quiet in there, but the bartender (Danielle, maybe?) was very sweet. She kept me there much longer than I probably should have stayed! I will definitely come back here, but most likely after dinner, when I am sure there will be more people there! read more

The Bar is ok, nothing too special, it's entrance is right by the lobby so it really feels like you're in the hotel lobby. The interior design is nice, very cigar bar. Very cliche but the Boston Creme Pie was amazing. read more

I've been coming to Bar10 for quite a few years. I've always thought of it as a hidden gem and a quiet spot to enjoy drinks and light fare in the Back Bay. I also understand the irony of treating a hotel bar as a local bar, but please disregard. Last night a friend and I wanted to check out their advertised promotion of a beer flight and wings for $10. We showed up went to order it, but the waitress apologized and said they meant to take down the sign earlier. Despite their oversight (and awkward conversation), she offered to give us the same deal. My buddy ordered the wings deal and I ended up ordering the buffalo chicken flatbread with no leeks (who puts leeks on a buffalo chicken pizza anyway?). As the food came, something didn't look right. After closer inspection, it was in fact a barbecue chicken pizza...not buffalo. I told the waitress this, she then gave me attitude about it, grabbed the pizza and told me she'll bring out the buffalo chicken with no leeks. After waiting another 12 minutes, the flatbread finally came to me...however, with mounds of leeks on it. Very annoying. I picked that gross green stuff off and finally dug in. Decent pizza but the cheese didn't taste too fresh. The bill came and the waitress charged me for the two pizzas. If anything, I thought she would comp the pizza or beer or something. After telling her of the oversight, she corrected the bill and that was that. Or so I thought. That cheese that didn't taste right totally had it's revenge and made for a terrible night of being sick. Not going back to Bar10 anytime soon. If you're looking for a drink and a relaxing environment in the Back Bay, check it out. Just don't order food. read more

I read the reviews online about this place and despite some of the negative comments, I decided to come here anyway to meet up with my date. Once we got our drinks we were pretty much left alone for 1 1/2 hours. We had to flag someone down to get the check. The waitress checked on us once to see if we were getting food and once we told her we were just ordering drinks she basically left us. It was fine because we just wanted one drink and to be left alone to chat with one another but the service here really is as bad as the comments say it is. It's a nice lounge in a nice hotel but if you're going to dine there, I would save your money and go elsewhere. The menu is also overpriced for what they served. read more

Not what you'd think of for a hotel bar. Great atmosphere and can typically get a couch area for your group to sit at. The service can be somewhat slow at times, but drinks are well made. I really like this place. If you want to chill, this is a great spot. Right in the center of Boston at Copley....stop and have a great drink. The snacks are fine, but nothing to rush there for. After walking for a while, this place was the only bar/lounge we found open before 4:30 on Christmas eve afternoon to catch up with an old friend. It was quiet but with about 6-8 other people sitting at the bar. Bartenders were overall friendly and attentive. Mixed drinks were $12-14, more expensive than they were worth.
