I had a to get an old cell phone unlocked. The service was quick and cheap! There was a language barrier but technology speaks for itself!

But once I got up there I was able to upgrade my phone and change my plan. All went great, very fast, probably 5-10 had my new phone and was down the road. On a previous non holiday season experience the employee was knowledgeable and helpful. It set it up for this visit.

I showed the representative at AT&T how much I've been paying Verizon and they were shocked. I've been paying about $260 a month for two lines and that's after having taken certain services off because it was nearly $300 a month. Our phones are already paid off, have been paid off for a while. I was in Verizon a few months ago and no one told me that I could get a better price. So I assume this is just the price of cell phone service in the Bay Area. So we go to AT&T and they are gonna give us four lines for $120! That is $30 apiece with taxes it's about $40 apiece. The rep said I will have just the same services if not better. I have already switched over to AT&T and I am getting excellence Service. I feel like I'm leaving an abusive relationship with Verizon. I have been changed so much in fees for several years now. I am gonna be saving about $180 a month! The last time I went to Verizon on Lakeshore Avenue, the best thing the representative did there for me, which was actually annoying is take the cover off my phone, start rubbing it with her one and a half to 2 inch nails, started going to peel my EMF protector off and I told her please leave that. And that was it and then she put the cover back on. No mention a better rate. Especially because I've been a longtime customer. Anyway, please go check out deals at AT&T and other cellular providers because Verizon is just ridiculously expensive in comparison.

Great service one day, awful the next…read more My new phone had arrived so I started the process of moving my eSIM from my old phone to my new phone. Verizon to Verizon, so there shouldn't have been any issues. Unfortunately, my old phone's SIM was deactivated before the new one was activated meaning I couldn't get the verification code to finish the transfer. I took it into this store after asking Verizon online help as they said it needed to be fixed in person. Got great service from the staff that day and they had my phone fixed and on my way within about 15 minutes. The next day, my partner got her new phone and it did the same thing. No big deal, we know Verizon can fix it for us in person. So we headed down to the same store but this time was greeted by a different person. Told him the issue we were facing and that I had been in the day before for the same problem and he instantly said it was a $40 charge. I tried explaining I had just had the same thing fixed only the day before for no charge and he treated me like I was lying. Then threatened to write up the employee who did it if I gave him her name. He told us to go to the Verizon store closer to the lake if we wanted to pay less. Three days later I went to AT&T and moved all my lines over so I don't need to ever deal with Verizon again. AT&T not only set up all my new lines for free, they're charging me less monthly for more data and coverage even after my introductory period. Bye, bye, Verizon!

Following my review of March 5th, 2026, it's now been three weeks and I have yet to hear from AT&T…read moreregarding my dispute of the $727.95 charge for a phone that I had left with John at the store after transferring the data from that phone, a iPhone 16 Pro, to my new iPhone 17 Pro. As I said, on December 29th, 2025 Oscar, the store manager assured me that the phone had been returned by him to AT&T and to disregard the notices from AT&T that I had not yet returned the phone. Two months later on February 27th, 2026 my card was charged in the amount of $727.95 for the supposedly unreturned phone. I received no communication from AT&T or anyone associated with AT&T during that two month interval. Having gone through the tortuous process of trying to dispute the charge via AT&T online reps, I finally wheedled out this out of them on Monday March 2nd, 2026 " Hi, it's AT&T. It was my pleasure to help you today. Here's some information we talked about for your account: We have submitted a case regarding your device return from the store on 29 December. You will receive a text notification once the case is resolved. For more details on equipment returns, please visit att.com/returns." Well, it's now three weeks later and I have heard nothing from AT&T; no emails, no texts, no phone calls, no cards, no flowers, and no candy. They also have given me no case number or contact person or contact information. They, including their area manager, are invisible. And, I'm still out $727.95 I guess my next stop is the Better Business Bureau and a complaint! Greg Quist

Verizon store was slammed. 10/15 people in the store. I was in a virtual line over there with 7 people in front of me. I went to this ATNT store and it was completely dead. 5/6 employees just kicking it. Cool, this should be easy. I explained the offer I had been given on the phone and asked about phone prices. They wouldn't offer the deal from the ad I'm going to post a photo of. No free iPhone at all. 300 was the minimum they were going to tack on. So I mean I don't really understand. This store just doesn't offer what the deals they advertise? Went back and got my stuff at Verizon. After 9 years of okay service I thought I might switch. Guess not. After the experience it made it clear why Verizon was slammed and this store was empty
