I happened to be running errands in Waikiki, so after reading other Yelp reviews I thought I would try here. Like others have said, it has more of a regular coffee shop feel (as opposed to a hotel/touristy feel), which is nice. There's free unlimited wi-fi with purchase! The coffee was meh, which is understandable since I got decaf. It was slow, so it was nice and quiet. I didn't eat anything, but I was impressed at the wide selection of food available. read more

Located in the Waikiki Banyan Tower 1 on the first floor mauka of the elevators, the Banyan Breeze is a cool place. For locals not staying at the hotel you can probably park in front of the hotel to run in and grab an order. The iced toddy coffee, lattes and sandwiches are very delicious. I had a warm veggie sandwich on croissant, pepperjack cheese and tomato & spinach with fluffy egg, it was simply divine. Coupled with a breve or other latte, you'll be returning for more. Nice little shop in the bottom floor of a hotel. Very friendly, super helpful, makes a great coffee! For a spot in Honolulu it's a little dark and hidden but totally cute and does the trick if you're looking for a delicious drink and snack to take on your way! read more

This trip we were staying across the street at the Marriot, but we have stayed at the Banyan before so every morning I walked over and got us breakfast. It felt great to walk past the mile long *Stahbuks* line in our lobby to arrive to a coffee shop with so many selections and no line! (Of course folks came in after me) The breakfast sandwiches are very tasty, you can select from several ingredient choices. The fresh fruit was great. The coffee is a special Hawaiian blend for Banyan Breeze. Delish iced mochas for us! So many good choices though, toddys,regular coffee, espresso, lattes, etc. Plus salads, pasta, quiche, sandwiches, acai bowls, etc. And a rewards program... Located inside the Banyan, very easy access. High quality coffee's and food at reasonable prices. They have a great coconut Latte. A big selection of breakfast sandwiches and breads. They also have lunch and dinner options. I love their homemade apple cinnamon bread. A good selection of healthy and decadent choices. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this over the Seattle's Best or Starbucks! read more

Julianna put up with me with a smile on her face and a very pleasant demeanor when I walked in at opening today and peppered her with questions and conversation. She recommended either the macadamia nut latte or coconut cream latte; I opted for the macadamia and have zero regrets! It was the perfect temperature, sweetness and boldness I needed to start my day. I'll be back to try the coconut cream! I also picked up a few of their homemade baked goods (my weakness). The cafe has a slightly crowded/cluttered layout; not sure the dark computer terminal in the corner was doing anyone any favors, but it's overall homey, which suits its location in a condo building, and the service was first class. Banyan Breeze is hidden on the ground floor of the Waikiki Banyan condos/hotel, but it is worth seeking out. If you go in the main entrance (past the waterfall & koi pond), turn right toward the elevators in Tower 1 & you can't miss it. It is small & independently owned with homemade baked goods, fabulous coffee, and prompt service. We've been getting our breakfast from them all week and have enjoyed their version of a muffin (made as a mini bundt cake). The flavors are: pumpkin-cream cheese, blueberry, banana nut, and banana-chocolate chip. Absolutely delicious! We've also enjoyed their homemade cookies, chorizo breakfast burrito, bagels, and fresh squeezed orange juice as well as guava and mango juice. Other menu items include hard boiled eggs, mini quiches, oatmeal, yogurt and fruit parfaits, vegan chia pudding, sandwiches, wraps, brownies, etc. Everything is fresh and delicious...and did I mention the coffee is fabulous? I haven't had it, but I think they serve Pineapple Whip, too. On top of all that goodness, the service is cheerful and efficient. Go daily, and you'll easily amass "points" worth a free cookie. You can eat in at one of the small tables or take your food to go. We like to sit in the open air "lobby" of the Waikiki Banyan and enjoy the waterfall and koi pond while we eat. read more

We came here a few times and honestly, I wanted to love it. The service each time was FANTASTIC and SUPER friendly. But . . . the coffee was just ok; the milk tea was sickly sweet; and my husband's dole whip thing just wasn't very good either. AND when he went to print something out the computer it was crazy slow, and in the end the toner didn't work (so he couldn't print out our boarding passes). read more

I LOVE this little hidden gem of a cafe. With fresh squeezed juices and breakfast croissants (I loves me some breakfast), free wifi, and a nice, non-busy ambiance, I've put quite a few good hours in here. Why the missing star? The a/c and fan combo feels like pneumonia waiting to happen, and they close by 7pm. Not a late-night spot to chill, or even grab a little dessert after dinner. Which is a shame, because THEY HAVE THE BEST BROWNIES I'VE EVER TASTED. And as a guy with a sweet tooth, I've had my share of brownies. These are sooooo rich and dense, gooey and delicious... Just go have one and join me in blissful brownie Nirvana. read more

This is my favorite place for coffee in the morning while staying at the Banyan Hotel. I have stayed here for many years and I've tried many different breakfast sandwiches and quiches and I have never been disappointed.Their hours are 6:30AM to 2PM. I wish I had gone into this place earlier. My family and I were staying at the Aston Waikiki Banyan for a week. I had researched breakfast and coffee places in the area without even bothering to check out Banyan Breeze which I passed by every time I went to the elevators. On the third day I decided to go in. The brownies caught my eye along with all the other baked goods which are all baked In the store. Yummm. All the people behind the counter and the owner were so friendly. I signed up for a rewards program and thought I'm not going to come here enough to get a reward, WRONG!!! After 3-4 visits I earned a $12 reward. My family and I went back 4 or 5 more times. We tried all the different brownies DELICIOUS!!! The oat cakes were delicious and filling. My wife and daughter loved the blueberry cakes with cream cheese. I had a very good breakfast bowl with an excellent cup of coffee (the red eye). My son and other daughter enjoyed their breakfast burritos and I think my wife got hooked on the guava smoothies. Needless to say with all this delicious food and the incredibly friendly service there is no need to research Yelp for any other breakfast or coffee place. Simply go to Banyan Breeze. read more

Love this cute little coffee shop in the waikiki banana hotel. I usually start off my day with an ice tea from here or a cup of fresh squeezed grapefruit juice. (Name one other coffee store that has that.) For lunch, the chicken Caesar wrap is excellent. Not like the one from coffee bean and tea leaf with all those onions and its been sitting in that fridge for 9 hours. But my absolute favorite is the cream of broccoli soup that one of the baristas makes from scratch, it is the most delicious broccoli soup I've ever had!! I would have licked the bowl if I wasn't in public :) I've never had any of their coffee before bc I don't drink coffee, but the best afternoon pick me up is their red bull made with the same syrup they use for Italian sodas. Pretty bummed because I really like this place. Inappropriate work talk about a guest who was unsatisfied made it very uncomfortable for another guest to be there. Not only that but I repeated my order twice and my sandwich still came out wrong which would not be a problem but they were complaining about a guest and the sandwich is $6! Great cozy little place located in the walkway from the parking lot to the Waikiki Banyan elevators. The coffee is always good. They now serve nitro cold brew which was nice and smooth. Cold sandwiches, muffins, energy ball and other goodies are also available. I highly recommend if your cruising in the area and need a shot of caffeine. read more

I've only been here one time and just ordered the French Press coffee. Although the name of this cafe implies it's more of a cold non-coffee beverage place, I chanced having some coffee since everywhere I've been in Hawaii has served good coffee. I have to say this is one of the worst I've had. Coming from Seattle, the Coffee Capital, I'm a little more picky than the average person so I set my standards high. Unfortunately, the coffee I tried here on this day was more like a funky tea than a coffee. Based on the taste and appearance, I would say they used a very coarse grind that didn't allow any flavor or color from the coffee to come out. You might get luckier than me with the coffee but I would probably go with more of a "breeze" type of drink. read more

I love this little place. They have the best soups that runs out EARLY so get there by lunch on rainy days. The staff are all super friendly. My favorites are the THAI ICED LATTE and the breakfast croissant. Everything is good there though, even the pasta dishes and all the baked goods. Nom nom nom. read more

This is a great little coffee shop located inside the Waikiki Banyan hotel. I am very fortunate to have this gem located so close to work, as I am here on the regular for my iced coffee and breakfast sandwich fix! The ladies here get creative with baking; I have tried an assortment of goodies ranging from peanut butter brownies and chocolate dipped macaroons to honey walnut scones and even home made coconut cream pie!!! I would highly recommend supporting this one of a kind, local kine coffee shop rather than choosing mundane, factory made big names. read more

Convenient when staying at the banyan and friendly. The breakfast sandwiches were fine - made however you like them. The reasons I gave it only 3 stars? Coffee wasn't great, the strawberry smoothie was super sweet (too sweet for my taste) and the cafe itself felt a bit dingy/dark for eating in.
