Banning RV - RV Dealers Near Me - Banning, California

Had such a great experience with this RV dealer! From the moment we arrived, everyone was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. The staff was knowledgeable, patient, and took the time to answer all of our questions without ever making us feel pressured. The whole process was smooth and straightforward, and we really appreciated how professional and accommodating everyone was. You can tell they truly care about their customers and want you to leave happy with your purchase. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking for an RV. Great selection, great service, and an overall wonderful experience! read more

The service department could be a little better. Christina, in the office, can't do it all. She was a great help. Dakota, one of the technicians, knows a lot about RV's. He has showed me more about my 2020 Geopro than any other service provider. These two are going to be my new service providers. I am tired of big companies who don't know shit. read more

Awful place! Liars!!! Made the trip from Washington to purchase an RV. Asked specifically about odors and condition of paint. We were lied to. It had definite water intrusion with terrible moldy smell and paint was checking terribly. Would not buy from them! Then they took a long time to get deposit back. read more

They lost the keys to my RV never gave me the money to get them made. They put the wrong color panel when they did the air conditioner. Mine were white on the inside ceiling they put an almond one up that doesn't match. They didn't reimburse me for that. All they do is take your money and that's it. They owe me hundreds of dollars in labor and materials to get the stuff redone. I don't wanna have it redone there cause they already screwed it up once I don't want to take a chance of them, causing me more problems, but they refuse to give me my money back for the work that they screwed up and for my keys coula is the owner has never sent you a check for the step she charged before and screwed up Nelson. Her late husband was an honorable man. He would've taken care of it, but he's no longer work so fortunately Banning RV isn't what he used to be. I don't recommend this place. They'll take your money, but they won't honor anything. The guy in charge of service isn't too bright. read more

Banning RV is the real deal -- and yes, they genuinely care. We found them online and, despite living in Florida, decided to fly out to their California dealership to complete the purchase. It was absolutely worth the trip. Brandon, Alex, and Rick kept us fully informed throughout the entire process and went above and beyond to ensure this was the best buying experience we've ever had. read more

This is a terrible company to make business with. I purchased a motor home from them and before the deal was done they promised good work and they play to be caring but they do not follow up with anything they promise work they said it was performed was never done. The worse business deal i have ever done would not recommend this vendor to anyone. read more

We were on our way home when we passed a sign for Banning RV Discount Center. I spoke with Sweet Tea on the phone and she explained what they had in inventory. She was able to show us 4 or 5 RVs that were close to our criteria. We didn't find anything there we would buy that day. Sweet Tea has called since then with other RVs we may be interested in. So they continue to help you even after you leave. I would definitely go back and work with Sweet Tea and Banning RV again. We have since found an RV but they have many options at their location. read more

Can't believe this place is even in business as once the papers are signed they no longer care. They even gave us the wrong keys to the camper so we had to get all the locks changed. They make promises to get the sell & don't follow through, don't return calls, or answer basic questions. Very disappointing. read more

Banning RV never called back after we left the lot! Once they get your sell, you are no longer "family." We had to call the lender ourselves to find out our payment information. We had asked about a patio kit for our toy hauler and Banning RV never called us back after saying they would. read more

If I could leave zero stars I would. People, be careful when purchasing a protection warranty into your rv contract. If you ever have to cancel for whatever reason, YOU WILL NOT get the full amount you purchased it for. For example, if a warranty cost you $3,500 and that was in addition to the purchase of your rv, you will get some "BS" response from John the finance manager that you will only get about $60-75 bucks back instead of a refund for the difference of time you might've had it for if you ever had to cancel it. I literally had mine for a year, and purchased it for about $5K on top of my rv price. When I went to go cancel because I was selling my rv and no longer needed it, I was told by John because of how it was "written" on their contract, I was eligible to receive the full refund of something higher like $4000 or something. I told him that makes no sense. He said its how its written on the "contract." So people, be careful of doing business with this place-they are CROOKS! Again, I'd prefer to leave "ZERO" stars. read more

I can't say enough good things about the service department at Banning RV. I had an appointment to replace the weight distribution hitch setup on my truck and trailer, and even though they had an emergency come up that took priority, they made sure I was taken care of and that my rig was safe to tow. Austin, Adrian and Alphonso are the best. read more

Yeah... I know it's most ideal to survive any post-apocalyptic world in a fortress instead of a trailer. We've all seen enough zombie movies to know that a trailer is the last place you'd want to hide, because it's where at least one of your team always gets dramatically killed. But when you're out in the wild and mapping out new ways for survival, a trailer could be tactically sound. Think of it, you could arm it properly, post security at the top, designate a driver, and snipe out of the little side windows. My stop of choice is the Banning RV Discount Center. Top notch quality trailers at great prices. It's like living in a 5-star mini hotel out in the middle of the desert. Hey, this Tactical Girl would choose one of these carriers over a port-a-potty any day. It sure as hell beats having to search for smooth stones. Or try running streams in the middle of this eternal SoCal drought. Hah! Good luck! The owners of Banning RV Discount Center are the most wonderful, kindhearted, compassionate, caring people. They truly are GREAT Americans. We spoke to Coula, whose husband's a veteran. They're both very involved in doing lots of great work to support veterans, and the they generously provided the cast and crew of that veteran-powered film "Tango Down" three trailers for their production. From what I've heard, the producers said the experience was SEAMLESS. The drivers maintained excellent communication, hauled the trailers to the exact coordinates, arrived on time, hooked them up to generators when necessary, and ensured proper function and cleanliness of the trailers at all times. read more

Do not purchase an rv from them if you plan on having them fix it!! They "attempted" to fix my rv under warranty, were in way too over their heads and handed it back unfixed and in worse condition, all for me to go find someone to fix. DO NOT do business with these shady people. read more

3 years ago I would of given this place 5 stars. Now it's a complete joke. Bought a 2017 5th wheel from here. The first year I owned the vehicle it spent more time in their facility than it did camping with me. But it was okay, because they had great people Working for them, Tony the GM was there, she was fantastic, and they had 2 great guys in service with Nick & Vance. Now they're both gone. I've had service people set up appointments for things to get fixed, take the 30 minute drive with my trailer to find out only 1 part was at their shop, and the other has not arrived yet. In experience and do not value others time. I spent over $6,000 dollars on two 5th wheel hitches, now my new one is damaged and I have to start the whole process over trying to explain the issue because again, the people who knew what they were doing (Nick & Vance) have left. read more

The staff were very helpful and honest. I would recommend checking them out if you're looking to purchase an rv.

All I wanted all week was to get a quote on 5th wheel installation and possibly schedule an appointment for install, but after leaving my name and number more than once and speaking to employees that could not help nothing ever happened. Just bad customer service. I chose to call this place because of its ratings. The only thing I ever got told was how much they make an hour. read more

Best place to buy an rv. Great selection and no pressure. Love our starcraft. If we ever want to get a new trailer again, this us where we will go. All the other dealers in San Diego only carry motor homes and want you to go to Arizona to pick up a trailer. So happy we found Banning RV . read more

I have a KZ 170 MB travel trailer that I purchased from an RV dealer in Mesa, AZ. And I live in Carlsbad, CA which is 8 hours from Mesa, and 2 hours from Banning. The trailer needed some warranty work, and Jason and Austin, graciously agreed to do the repair. Saved me a major trip to AZ. I also needed the trailer for a planned trip in the works, and they made a temporary repair that allowed for that, while the permanent fix/parts are still pending shipping/arrival from the factory. Austin cheerfully took care of me and provided excellent customer service and communication. I plan on returning there when the parts arrive, and have some additional custom work done, after seeing their work and service. Highly recommended. read more

Awful experience. Other people have complained about toni and I'm not surprised. They had a rv show and approved me for for a loan. three salesman stood in front of me and my family (8 adults) and said 235 for 12 years. 4 people stayed at a motel that night because I was told I would get it as soon as I sign. Repeatedly I was told the details of the contract and that I had nothing to worry about. As soon as I walked into Toni's office all that went out the window. 12 years turned into 15. She wanted an additional 5000 dollars on a credit card she said she could get me, higher payment on a 12 year loan, ect. these people ruined the weekend for my whole family. Instead of spending the week at the campground where they had the show everyone had. to leave. I wish they would have just left me alone when I initially told them that I was not looking to buy. read more

Great experience with Gigi, Aaron and Toni. Our walk through was great with Lee and Danny as well. Great selection of nice trailers. Didn't feel pressured to buy, and wasn't hounded when we left to make sure they had the best price. Everyone was genuinely nice and willing to help. We bought our trailer and picked it up in the morning and drove it right to a camp ground. They made sure we were comfortable with the trailer before we left and gave us their cell number just in case we had problems at night. Will definitely be going back!! read more

I read all the reviews and was hesitant to come on. I like to make decisions on my own experience. From start- I spoke with Rick, then came in a met Aundre, Both men were fantastic. We found something that fit our needs, they were not pushy and in no way rude. We had a verbal agreement of the cost and everything, a few days later we were called in to come in and pick. They kept their word, nothing was hidden from us. Gus and another guy ( I'm so sorry I forgot your name) they showed us everything and they were great!... we then spoke to the service manager ( I'm sorry I forgot his name to) super helpful and he did not try to sell us things we didn't need. There was one item we were interested in and he looked it up and ordered it for us. All around everyone person was helpful. No complains from me. I would tell anyone give them a chance and go in. They had a good selection of different layouts. Thank You Banning Rv!... we appreciate all your time!. read more

THE WORST EVER! We bought a new 2021 travel trailer August 17th, have nothing but problems. We were sold a $1600 extended warranty and told that if we had trouble while traveling that we could use mobile mechanic and it would be covered. Took trailer home our first day and the slides wouldn't go back in. Called the warranty and they said they didn't cover trailers. We paid $290 to get mechanic to get slides in so we could tow it back to Banning.. the mechanic said to tell the dealer that he did a temporary fix while it's under warranty and they need to fix the wiring that was a defect as it will start a fire if they don't do that before putting slides in and out. We towed it back and told Banning RV. They called us in 2 days and said it's fixed. We went to get it and pressed the slide button before towing back home and the wiring started a fire. They ran out with fire extinguishers. So they didn't even touch that RV and didn't listen to us. I talked to a Jason that said he's the owner and let him know what's going on. So we had to come back again after repairs. Took it home again and noticed they repaired a tire they said had a nail and it looked used and the rim didn't match. Jason said bring it back and we will replace it. He said " yah the lot porter put that on and we don't pay him much." What?? Who says that? Told Jason and John in finance that our warranty seemed worthless as we called them to take it back to dealer and they said they didn't have our names. $1600 and a contract, yet they don't have us as owning that warranty? So we told the dealer and they said that's crazy, we will get your $290 back. Never have seen a dime and it's been since Aug 20th. Today is one month and 8 days since they said they filed the claim. Yah right! We had to drive back and forth to Banning 4 times and were never compensated for gas or any discounts. We even paid the $750 to install a back up camera that's a 3 inch screen. They never told us how small it would be and even Jason said" I wouldn't be able to see that." These people are unbelievable. They are so unprofessional and money grabbing idiots. I never asked to be compensated for anything but simply called to tell them after weeks on end we haven't even been able to take the RV out at all. Jason said " we'll we are cutting the cord with you people." What kind of service is this. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!! read more

The service was excellent when we were buying our travel trailer. When we got it home and discovered a leak over the bed ,we brought it back 3 days Later. Took 18 days for them to finally fix it and that's only because we called the manufacturer. When we went to pick it up the job was not to our satisfaction, the ceiling still sags you can push it up about 2 inches! We were told to "Hook up our trailer and GET OFF THEIR LOT". that's the best they could do. The service center at this location will not honor your appointment time even if they have made the appointment and discussed with you. I had the misfortune of having a warranty appointment that this center made for me on August 21, 2019. I drove over 50 miles to get to this location and then was told they were too busy to get to my issue which was to put on a door in the pantry section of our travel trailer. I agreed to come back the next day at another agreed time after 1 pm. The next day when I returned the service manager said they were too busy to do anything. I requested to see the pantry door ordered. It was the wrong color and finish for the travel trailer I have. Take your business elsewhere. I was going to trade in my trailer for a larger one at this location but have decided to look elsewhere because of the treatment of the service center. read more
