Do NOT rent a Uhaul from this location. Despite the Uhaul reservation confirming that they had a truck on hand and that our truck was "guaranteed", they did not have one when we arrived to Yucaipa Trailers. We had to call Uhaul and get the location changed for pickup elsewhere which took more time, and it delayed our moving process. read more

If there was an option for a negative Star rating I would rate this company and customer service as -5 Stars. I spent almost 10K on a trailer and electric jack lift. I'm not happy with the jack lift and they refuse to return it nor did they give me the manual lift upon purchase. This was 4 days ago and the jack has never touched the ground!!! Do yourself a favor and purchase elsewhere!!!! ...in reply to your message; It's not slander. You have no customer service or customer values. You installed the jack and connected to my truck and it has never been operated by anyone other then you guys. To say it's used is not correct and to not proved me with the manual jack is ridiculous. I knew I wanted a trailer. I knew nothing about trailers. I had never even pulled a trailer. I responded to a Facebook marketplace ad and Cindy contacted me back. She held a perfect trailer for me, so I drove the hour to Yucaipa's lot. I looked at several and ended up sticking to my original choice. While I was doing the paperwork others wanted to buy the same trailer. I am lucky that Cindy held it for me. They answered all my questions and hooked the trailer up to my truck. Looking for a quality trailer at a reasonable price and came across Yucaipa Trailers. This little place is in a hidden spot but a gem. Prices lower than other places and quality just as good. Preston and TC didn't try to oversell us. Just listened to what we were looking for, showed us their inventory, explained the difference in quality in the different trailers and let us make our decision. Cash makes things even cheaper and they are honest on how the financing companies work so you don't get unnecessary dings on your credit to see if you qualify. I saw an ad for a trailer on Craigslist. I gave Andrew, at Yucaipa Trailers, a $500 credit card deposit during a phone conversation to hold a trailer for me. Andrew sent me the invoice via email and tacked on an additional $450 delivery fee to transport the trailer from New Mexico to Ca. I have copies of the emails I sent and received from Andrew at Yucaipa Trailers. In my email to Yucaipa Trailers, I told Andrew to cancel the $450 delivery fee or cancel the sale. Andrew called me to apologize and blamed the fact that he had "Covid fog head." He emailed a new invoice and removed the $450 fee. When I went to pick up the trailer (which was a three hour drive one way,). I handed him the same credit card that I used for the down payment. He told me that he would have to charge me an additional 3% fee if I paid with a credit card. I told him that a 3% charge was not mentioned before nor was it on the invoice. I refused to pay any additional hidden charges and I told him to cancel the sale. He refused to refund my $500 deposit. Unfortunately, I didn't check the reviews for this company. Many other customers have made similar complaints that Yucaipa Trailers jacks up the price when the buyer goes to the showroom to complete the transaction. Buyer beware, Even after Andrew emailed my invoice, Andrew tried to jack up the agreed upon price. What a total waste of time. Yucaipa Trailers are using Craigslist to steal. My credit card company refunded the deposit. read more

This place is a scam.. TC is the guy who runs this place. He does a bait and switch. He advertise trailers on CRAIGSLIST at an unbelievable price to get you in the door (if you call before to make sure the trailer is still in stock at advertise price he will reassure you it is and even tell you he'll hold one for you). Once you arrive TC will tell you he just sold the last trailer you wanted and he'll try to sell you a smaller trailer for several hundred dollars more than the larger trailer you wanted and he advertised. BAIT AND SWITCH! I called to buy a 6' x 10' enclosed trailer. TC said, "come on down"! I drove a couple of hours in traffic. I arrived there to buy the $2195.00 trailer and TC says, "it cost $2795.00 now." There were numerous trailers as advertised. However, now they all cost $600 more then the advertised and confirmed pricing. I looked TC in the eye and said, "I called you twice, once to confirm the price get directions. The second time to confirm availability pricing and to let him know I was on the way. Are you going to sell me a trailer for the price we agreed?" TC replied, "No, we never had a 6' x 10' enclosed trailer priced at $2195.00." The trailers are low quality, bare bones trailers. $2195 is a fair price. $2795.00 is not. read more

Did the whole transaction from specs to ordering of my new LOOK enclosed 6x10 trailer all blacked out with rear ramp door online. TC assisted me from start to finish. Picked the trailer up on Saturday, December 16, 2017 and again all the paperwork was ready to go, did some signing and paid the final invoice amount. TC even checked the trailer lighting after connecting the four pin connector with no power coming from my new 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee, long story short have to take it to dealership and have them program the computer for towing package which was bought and installed aftermarket. Back to the trailer, it is beautiful and the price for the size that I got was roughly 600-800 dollars cheaper than the other locations I went and visited. My review on this place is i dont recommend, reason why is because the custumer service is not good TC the guy that runs the place is not helpful ..i bought the trailer because i needed it for my business and it was what i was looking for..the price that he advertised on the yucaipa trailers.net was false. When i got there he said there is one like it but it was more because it had stone guard and floor upgrade. The stone guard was upgraded but it looked better how it comes from the manufacture and the floor was not upgraded it had cheap plywood unlike the pictures on the web site it looked like a upgraded finish..Tc makes the custumer feel uncomfortable because he is not doesn't explain good or listen. Yucaipa trailers has new trailers less expensive than some of the used ones on Craigslist! I called T.C. several times last year looking for the trailers needed for our church. He was very patient on the phone describing the trailers in stock and explaining the options including various sizes and weight limits. I wasn't able to pull the trigger until this week, and T.C. was there to help. When I showed up, they had already moved my trailer out front so it was ready to go. The price was exactly as stated on the phone, including the mandatory DMV charges and State taxes. Preston handled all the DMV paperwork for me and made sure the trailer was hooked up properly and ready to go. We will be back to buy our third church trailer this summer! read more

I've been looking for an enclosed trailer for years. Everyone in the Orange County Area was incredibly expensive for what I was looking for. I just wanted a nice enclosed unit to store a Renaissance faire set in. I looked online, saw a trailer I wanted, called Preston who handled the transaction from there on out. I did ask about a cheaper model I had seen just a week before, but it had sold. Preston directed me to another model on the website that was a couple hundred dollars more but better for my needs! He took a deposit over the phone from me (to prevent sale of the trailer) and I drove down the next day. I payed cash, which was great because they do charge 3% more for taking a card (a lot of businesses do that). We did all the paperwork, and then TC grabbed the trailer with a forklift, gently dropped it right behind my truck, and Preston helped me hook it up. We tested the lights and I was on my way. The goal of purchasing any vehicle is to get the dealer to come down as close to invoice as possible, because it makes the unit cheaper. I looked into it - these guys made a little over $50 on this sale; basically got this trailer at a wholesale price! While the site is rough and could use some beautification, I am thoroughly happy with my purchase! read more

I spoke with a couple people there all of which were helpful and friendly. Im actually reading some of these reviews talking about TC and he may not be the warmest guy over the phone, but he is by all means professional and clear in whats being purchased and whats expected, and by no means rude at all! For us, everything went so smooth, and they even had our trailer ready well before it was supposed to be, which was an awesome surprise!
