Inner Sunset

I like using this place. It's the same couple young workers there all the time. They don't remember me and that's fine. They just deal with an endless line of people all day long sending packages, making copies, or shipping back returned items. It's the same repetitive routine with them having to keep explaining the same instructions and corrections because we don't do this every day like them. Are they incredibly friendly and customer service oriented - not exactly but they do get you what you need to know and try to get you along on your way. This is not the kind of place where people would want to ooh and ahh and leave an A+ review because it was so great, or something. So all they seem to get are lousy reviews from people that were frustrated. That's not fair. They will try to help. One time, i recall, the fellow (i guess "erik" per other review comments) even was really kind and just paid for my fax fee himself because I'd forgotten to bring anything with me in rushing out to catch them just before they closed. Anyways, many thanks to you folks there at the irving str ups store for always being there and putting up with all of us all day long day after day. (Oh yes, and the self service kiosk where you can just scan the UPS return shipping QR code and print out your own shipping label is just da bomb...)

Hence, it serves both Forest Hill, St. Francis Woods, Forest Hill Extension and West Portal communities. Then we have this small mail stop: The Postal Chase.. This is a go to photo copy, notary, delivery and pick up, packaging and mail box service. It's right next to Peets, and meter parking is usually ok. There's usually 2 counter clerks that work there and one is incredibly nice and the other is grumplesilkskin. They have a record of your addresses that you usually send to which saves time; especially as I send care packages to the same addresses. The pricing is decent. There's never more than 1 person in front of you versus UPS, which always have at least 3 or 4 persons with 1 counter person. Which is ok if you have to use UPS. The nice clerk is always looking for a cheaper way for me to get my package/letter to where ever I need to get to. The other eyes me even when I borrow their pen. There is a nice small convenience that the nice clerk will do: when I run out of printer ink, I'll email what I need to have printed, he'll print it and I just stop by and pick it up. How customer friendly is that! They also have greeting cards, packaging materials for emergency last minute needs - I think the pricing on these and selections is expensive and narrow but good for a pinch. This is a nice shop to have and good location by the subway station.

Tried to ship 4 boxes at around 1pm today and while the store is open for business, Vincent refused to ship any of our boxes because they are "full" and "there is no room." Rosemary stopped me before I left and asked "what was wrong?". I told her my predicament and she solved my problems in 3 minutes. Something I couldn't do in 20. I'm grateful. I don't know why this place only has one star. I read the review that James S wrote and it was unreasonable. This is a small fedex kiosk in a Walgreens. They have limited resources. A reasonable person will take that into account before making a one star review. I want to set the record straight and let others know that this place does not deserve a one star review. There are two people named rose that work here at Walgreens . No offense to the other rose but please if your using the computer then immediately find rosemary. She will solve your problem very quickly. I'm extremely impressed. She also found a coupon on the computer that gave me a substantial discount. Extremely good value. Very impressed with Rosemary and this FedEx.
