Then we were told we'd could keep the plate. I asked about a refund on the prior registration as I'd been told by the MVD they would credit the unused portion as we'd just updated the registration a bit over a month ago. The clerk here said we couldn't do that. The cost she gave us was over $100. I realized that was ridiculous so canceled the transaction and drove to the actual MVD on Shannon. Long story short. The actual cost was about $60. They immediately credited the old fee and so the final cost was about $14. NOT over $100. Be very wary at this business. The MVD can be a wait but it's better than paying nearly 10 times the legitimate cost!

I walked in without an appointment, was immediately greeted, put in line, and taken care of after less than 10 minutes of waiting. To switch over a title and registration it took about a half an hour, so in total I was in there less than 45 minutes. Extremely impressive. On top of being timely, the building is nice. The employees are kind and interested. Both employees I spoke to offered their heartfelt condolences. Just everything about the whole experience was 5 million times better than the MVD. There is a service fee--I think it was $35, but it was worth every penny. I'll be coming here exclusively from now on for all of my MVD related business.

I traveled to the south MVD here in Tucson on Broadmont to handle some 'adult life western world' things. The bathrooms were decent. It's distasteful and I can't see why it's so difficult of a thing to remove the mirrors and other things but not clean up the walls or at least make it look nicer. They really just let things look bad. Scan your ID , or schedule an appointment online ahead of time, but either way you'll hop in a line. There are no chairs except for handicap individuals. Plenty of room for chairs IMO! I was very happy with the person who helped me. She was so attentive, clear, listened and helped. Thank goodness for a good human interaction!
