TLDR: fresh and crisp veggies! I ordered delivery and was not disappointed! Food came fresh and was very flavorful! One awesome thing to note about this place is that when you order the Banh Mi extra toppings (besides protein) is free! I totally love that because I love my veggies! Vietnamese Ham Banh Mi: the pickled carrots and daikon radish were a bit on the sweet side for me and could have been slightly more "pickley" but it the entirety of the sandwich was very fresh and super crisp with all those fresh veggies! Grilled Pork Vermicelli: again, very fresh tasting! I do wish they included some herbs like thai basil in there for more added flavor but it was still a very filing and tasty dish! The romaine instead of iceberg lettuce is a plus! The fish sauce in my opinion was a bit on the sweet side--I'm a fan of tartness so I like mine a bit more tangy. The grilled pork had excellent flavor but it was a bit too stringy and chewy for my liking. Grilled Beef Vermicelli: vermicelli and veggies were great just like above! This is just a pho review. We didn't try the sandwiches, which might have been a mistake on our part. Off the beaten path in one of the side office parks scattered around Canyon Park. There seem to be hardly any other restaurants or even public-facing businesses of any kind in any of these buildings. They have a nice little corner on the market, especially for lunch, in this spot. You walk in to 3 rows of tables; they can seat about 30 people but clearly they do a ton of to-go business. You order at the counter, and get your own water and tea off to the side. Free hot tea, too! Nice touch. The menu is a dozen or so phos, a few sandwiches, and a couple apps. They do have veggie options. Service seemed overwhelmed during our visit, getting flustered while we waited to order and again when we pointed out that they were out of cups at the water station. Nice kids, but a little stressed out. The spring rolls were fine; decent flavor, nice texture, fresh ingredients. Nothing memorable on the good or bad side. Solid choice. The pho was just okay. Noodles were a little too sticky and clumpy without much chew. Not much meat, and some was pretty tough. The condiments were fresh enough, and the hot sauces were dependable bottled stuff. But the broth was basically just water. Not much flavor happening at all. In the end, I would eat here all the time if I worked nearby. Prices were good, and the whole place was spotless. Almost no complaints and whole lot of praise. The pho is pho-nominal! A pho-lover's dream. Extremely fresh and high quality ingredients. I loved this place because it is family owned and the meals are made with a real love of the food and culture. The owner is the one serving you and his family is in the back making the food. It's in the middle of a business park so you won't think you're in the right place. Inside is really nice looking. The tables were a little dirty though and the surface was really sticky (never a fan of that). Also, it was really quiet and weird inside. Had some music playing but it was just kind of an awkward environment. I'd suggest making it a more comfortable and fun atmosphere. Maybe play better and louder music? The food was decent for this area. It likely would not survive if it was in So. CA. This was the first time that I ever had a Banh Mi place run out of Banh Mi. Lol! So we had the shrimp fried rice, pork chop rice, shaken beef rice, and pork vermicelli. All the proteins were super dry and tough. Shrimp in spring rolls are not well deveined, shrimp excrement present, they cut the shrimp in half in the rolls so you're getting 1 .5 shrimp per roll , owner made a huge deal out of asking for a side of chili sauce, very petty , they also charge .10 cents for a sriracha packet I realized later on their website that tells me everything I need to know about their corner cutting establishment . read more

Had the pork banh mi, and while it was well priced at $6.95, the pork wasn't really grilled and sort of over marinated, and overall dry. I love a well seasoned grilled pork that still retains porky texture and the fat is slightly charred. This just wasn't it. There were 4 slices of jalapeno for the whole sandwich, it just over all lacked. Maybe I'm just partial to the banh mi I'm used to. This is a Vietnamese pho and sandwich shop nestled and somewhat hidden in a Bothell Office park. You'll probably miss it the first time you come around since it's not really an area with retail stores. The inside is modern, bright and clean. It's a lunch counter style restaurant so no waiters and self serve water etc. which makes sense since most of the customers imagine are coming from work. I ordered the large P3 and spring rolls. The spring rolls were great with nice large pieces of shrimp. They haven't succumbed to the fried onion and hair of lettuce trend yet so expect a traditional looking roll. The large Tai Chin was fine with an ok amount of meat and noodles. Average tasting broth. My only complaint is all the noodles were stuck together inside the soup, which is indicative of somewhat hasty preparation. It's a good business/work lunch option. Setting: We got take out because of COVID. The take out process was pretty seamless. Food: We got the pork Banh Mi in addition to pho. For the Banh Mi, the bread was a little hard and the meat slightly dry but it was overall still pretty good. The pho was pretty standard, nothing spectacular about the broth and the meat quality was decent. We heated up the pho broth again at home to make it taste more fresh. Value: The price for the amount of food was standard compared to Vietnamese restaurants in the area. Service: No issues. The food was ready when they said that it would be. Other: Definitely a place worth trying in the Bothell area if you are craving Vietnamese food. They're almost as good as the ones you'd fine in the city, so they're definitely worth a try. Today I decided I was going to find it and I am glad I did. It's very clean inside and lots of seating. I ordered Chicken Chow Mein & a Banh Mi sandwich. They completely Ran out of all sandwiches tonight and I didn't find out til I arrived. In a rush I could not wait for ordering an alternate, compounding the "convenience" time of Easy pick-up, as I had a meeting following the pick up. Not entirely their fault And they tried to fix it. The refund I got back was for the order but not for the tip. So order by phone, or pick the tip on arrival so you can Determine what to tip based on what's available for your order. We came here for the first time and found it a little hard to find because it blended in so well with all of the business offices. It was pretty cool to see this as the only restaurant in the area thought. The look of the place feels different and clean. The parking spots here are pretty narrow so it might be a bit difficult if you have a bigger or wider car. It also seems busy so it can be hard to find a spot as well. The place itself is on the smaller side but it feels very open and spacious. They have quite a lot of seating while making it still feel roomy. It also looks pretty clean and well maintained, which I appreciate. All we ordered was banh mi so I can't really give that much feedback on all their food in general, but the banh mi was pretty good. We ordered banh mi beef and banh mi dac biet. They give a lot of veggies, but it seems like they give more bread and less meat than other places I usually go to for banh mi. I really like meat so that was a bit disappointing for me personally. The food options here are really nice tho. I had my eye on the banh mi dip with pho broth so I may come back again to try that. Found this place via a friend's referral, I was quite intrigued because they bake their own bread. The bread was definitely good, but not sure how much better these actual rolls are over just getting a good daily bakery supplier. Sandwiches were delicious but I wouldn't say the best Banh Mi I have ever had. I could easily name drop which ones are my favorite but my better judgement says let's just focus on this restaurant. Fresh vegetables, good meat, nice roll were all a plus. I think I would have liked a little more mayo or whatever condiment they add to the bread. I was in a rush but I love that you can up to order online and customize your sandwich by adding or double certain ingredients, and it is prepared and all ready to go when you come at a good price. Taste experience wise, the Bahn mi I got was surprising in so many good ways. The pork was tender, juicy, well flavored, and a good portion. Veggies were good but there could have been more of them. The over easy egg was perfectly cooked with just enough gooeyness that dripped over yet didn't make the bread soggy. I work less than. 5 minute walk away so I gave them ample time and left at the 15 minute mark after my order (every order I've had is never ready when they tell me or when the online order states). So I get there and my order is finally ready 25 minutes after my order was originally placed after being told 10 minutes. My bahn mi is usually meat cooked in whatever marinade they use which is delicious. This sandwich had what looked like just rotisserie chicken with no seasoning. Furthermore, the chicken wasn't even hot, it was lukewarm. So I waited 2.5 times the wait period and my food wasn't even hot. Also the meat was flavorless. When I went they told me originally that they didn't have anymore bread but when I told them that their sandwich was the only reason I came they magically found two breads, haha. It had plenty of spice to it and the bread was excellent. They say it is baked fresh daily and I believe it. Go early in the day to ensure you get a sandwich. The pho was not good. The broth was really watery to me and honestly something I would never get again. The fresh spring rolls were good but nothing compared to bait tong. If you really want a great fresh spring roll go there. The peanut sauce was okay. I wanted it a little more smooth. If it wasn't for the sandwich I wouldn't go back. I had the mì xào and it was bland and the noodles were not cooked right. When I first saw the dish, I could tell some of the noodles clumped up and sauceless. While I was eating it, I thought the dish must be inauthentic because it did not feel or taste like egg noodles. This place is tucked in a business park and the service was so nice and hospitable. We came on a Thursday evening around 5:15 and the main issue was actually traffic. Being located in the business park in bothell made for terrible traffic despite living only 4 miles away. However, food was awesome. We wanted meatball aka char siu Banh mi's but they were out so we got the pork. Bread was awesome and sandwiches are only $5. We also got a bowl of pho and the broth was delicious. While we were there, there were a few other families with children. I have been hearing about Banh Mi Pho U for months, but was never able to make a point of going until this morning. I had gone to work early today and was asked to go home since I was still getting over a cold. I thought, I feel like a good soup... and fortunately Banh Mi Pho U was open!!!! I stopped in and ordered a regular chicken pho to go. When I got home, I grabbed one of my huge bowls and dropped in the chicken, veg, and noodles and gently poured the broth over it.. I had the basil, sprouts, and lime.... a little sriracha, let it sit a bit.... and indulged..... The chicken was soo tender, and flavorful. The broth was so clean and had some serious depth to it, the noodles were so silky in a way. This was by far, the best pho I had ever had. Now I know what all the kids were talking about!!! When I first had pho, I was told it's all about the broth.. but I was never impressed before. It was just sort of there before. But THIS broth, was like the best part of the meal, don't get me wrong, the chicken and noodles are definitely on par! But I really looked forward to tilting that bowl and drinking every last drop of that broth!!! I highly recommend Banh Mi Pho U, I plan on coming back again soon.
