Had an urge for a good crusty banh mi so went my go-to spot! It was busy but didn't have to wait long to order and get my sandwich. There are two indoor tables but it's too cramped to really eat inside. Took my banh mi to eat while driving back to work. Mistake: the bread was so crusty that my car is a mess. Need to vacuum it out. Anyways, sandwich was the Combo #1, lots of pate, cold cuts, and crispy veggies. Tons of flavor- .

Located in mini Chinatown in the south of SF. They're known for having the freshest banh mi in the bay and they do live up to that hype. Their baguette is all fresh made each day which you can see them make through the window and their toppings in the banh mi are all balanced with ingredients. Their sugarcane drink is really refreshing and sweet but not overly sweet. My favorite are the fried egg and the crispy pork roast (forgot picture) just because most banh mi places don't generally have that and I think it's like a fusion item between Chinese and Vietnamese items. Their bread is crispy but soft, unlike other places where it'll be too hard to bite into and cut the insides of your mouth. Service is quick. Their shop is pretty small so don't expect to eat inside, since there's only two tables and two chairs per small table. Would definitely come back if I'm in the area and craving a banh mi.

We picked up some plain bread rolls from this place when we visited SF recently. I believe they made the bread onsite and the price is reasonable for San Francisco. The rolls were big and pretty good. I like that the breads were not crumbly. The only thing is they don't have private parking similar to most stores in SF so you have to find street parking around.

Ordered through Uber Eats for pick up. Got the lemongrass pork banh mi and a combination banh mi. Total was about $22. Bread is good with a nice crunch. Although I did crisp it up a bit in my air fryer when I got home. Unfortunately the lemongrass pork was a bit dry. Some pate would have helped to add some moisture. The combination tasted better as it had pate in it. San Francisco is seriously lacking in the banh mi world.

Super cute. Tons of options. Good value. It was smaller than I expected not sure if the "factory" is on site or somewhere else ‍ I think it's cool they have meal deals for sandwich+drink or multiple sandwiches. Bread was fresh and serving sizes were solid. Bonus points for having Vietnamese egg coffees They have little kiosks to order with if you're feeling antisocial which is always a plus for me though the staff was nice and imediately fixed my drink mistake.

If youre into vietnamese coffee this is not your spot. It straight up taste like americano and some half and half. Didn't know what, source of milk they had in it but certainly did had the runs. The female that works there is rude and unprofessional. The crispy pork sandwich smelled a little bad. Won't recommend this spot.

Tried Banh Mi & Rolls for the first time and it seriously hit the spot. I got the veggie banh mi and the lemongrass pork--both were loaded with flavor. The veggie one was crisp and fresh, and the lemongrass pork was tender, juicy, and packed with that savory-sweet lemongrass kick. We also had the Thai matcha green tea and an iced coffee. The matcha was creamy and just the right amount of sweet, and the iced coffee was bold and super smooth. Totally worth the caffeine overload. Great prices, fast service, freshly made rolls, large portions, and everything tasted super fresh. A casual ambiance with 2-3 chairs. Definitely adding this to my regular lunch rotation!

I was really disappointed with the Vietnamese sandwiches here. I tried both the combination and the lemongrass pork, and neither lived up to expectations. The bread was not as fresh or crusty as a banh mi should be, and the fillings lacked flavor and very very little filling!!! You can see from photos as same size as penny. Over $9 per sandwich is Very overprice for one sandwich with this quality. The combination sandwich felt thrown together without balance, and the lemongrass option barely had any of the fragrant, citrusy taste you'd expect--it came across bland and underseasoned. Overall, both sandwiches tasted flat and didn't capture the authentic, fresh flavors that make a good Vietnamese banh mi stand out. I still don't understand how this shop got 4 stars!!!! For comparison, San Jose ones are way better

First time here at the store, second time having a banh mi sandwich and drink (friend picked up for me). Parking isn't terrible, paid street parking during the day. They have 4 kiosks for ordering, a couple of tables/seats for waiting and maybe eating if you want. You can also order at the register. They have a discount if you pay with cash at the register (no fees). You can pay at the kiosks with card but will incur a small fee. Combo sandwich (extra spicy) and a boba milk tea hit the spot! Not sure if the clear crystal jelly is the usual boba but that was what I got (no choice/option). Wasn't expecting that boba but it was fine. The drink itself wasn't super sweet so it was perfect. Great sandwich and drink combo for $13. A handful of people ordering on a weekday at 1pm. Would recommend!

It was very hard to find parking around here. This was a busy area and there was a lot of double parking. I had to drive in and out of the lane to get around the stationary cars. Finally found a spot, walked over and got my banh mi fairly quickly on a Sunday at 1pm. Quick in and out, fast service! Everyone's order was to go! The gf liked her #5 and I enjoyed my #9. The bread was crunchy and the filling was savory. We got the regular sized banh mi's for $9 each. I didn't know about the bigger foot long version until later.

The bread is good but the ingredients is kind of too little. So the sandwich is not well balanced.

Order there and grab a bag of chips + a drink from the store to enjoy with your sandwich! No matter what sandwich you choose from their extensive menu, Dutch crunch bread is a must. I like how their Dutch crunch has the perfect amount of crunch (satisfying, while not being too crunchy to the point where the roof of your mouth is scraped up). It's also not overly sweet compared to other Dutch crunch breads I've tried. I usually get either the Cali Club with provolone or the Oxbridge Special (formerly known as 2. Atomic 47 on their old menu; also isn't listed on their current menu board but it's listed on their GrubHub). The Cali Club is almost like an elevated BLTA. Perfect if you want a sandwich that's both hearty and fresh. The Oxbridge Special is mildly spicy and the roast beef in it is savory and juicy. Definitely come by if you're ever in the area!
