Aloo parata with uncooked dough and a thin layer of aloo.
    Anu B.

Ok! I only ordered Aloo Parata and puri for my kids. Must say never have I seen an aloo parata or puri like that. Both of them were almost an inch think and uncooked.

The roti is not that good. Its more of thick bread.

The indian food here is bit pricey. Alert- They will charge you 18% gratuity by default even for 1-2 people. Food- The lentil soup was really good. Creamy and delicious. The malai kofta is not that good. It has less gravy and bigger size koftas. The tandoori roti is not good either. The tomato sauce on the side with roti is actually better than the malai kofta gravy. Though the sauce portion is little. Overall- May be the thai cuisine is much better but the indian food is just below average for its taste, quality and price.

    Menu Item: Thai Iced Tea

We've been back and service was good and food was delicious, maybe even better on our second visit. We started with Satay, Thai Ice Tea, and Mojito. All were good. For a main course, we ordered Pla Jearn and Pla Choo Chee, both with Red Snapper, from the Thai menu and Murgh Vindaloo and Naan from the Indian menu. Each dish came with rice. The rice was fluffy and loose. The Vindaloo and Naan were delicious. The Pla Jearn and Pla Choo Chee were flakey and also delicious. The amount of food and the pricing was about right. Maybe a bit on the high end with price. But the service, food, and experience were very good. I feel I need to upgrade this review with 4 stars. We didn't have a bad experience the first time but I feel we had a much better experience this time.

    Nothing yet!

Go here if you're not hungry, because by the time you finally get your food, you will be starving. Long wait after sitting down. Food was OK.

Worst Indian food I have ever tasted! So, without looking at the reviews inside we wnt by the stars. So we wondered how did Indians voted good stars for this horrible place and then figured out it must be for thai food or Americans who haven't tasted real Indian food must have given good stars. We ordered malai kofta- omg it was so tangy and sour and could not even take the gravy. So we did eat the kofta with naan leaving the gravy. They did give some tikka masala along with naan. Thought it tasted bland, it was better than the malai in the malai kofta. The spring rolls were decent and thai iced tea was nice. The one star is for those two item. I think they just use the thai sauces for Indian item. Next coming to paapadam, it was microwaved for heaven sake and it was not made well. They charged 3$ for half burnt papad. I thought it will be deep fried paapad, but no! On top of the agony, for a party of 2, they added 15$ gratuity of 7$ which took our bill over 50$ for one malai kofta, paapad, ice tea and naan. The taste was so bad that we had to eat ice cream to take it away.

The service was good and the food very tasty. I had Gang Ped (Red Curry with Chicken and Shrimp) with rice. Highly recommend to anyone who loves Thai or Indian cuisine.

there is no private parking around here, it is street parking only, we had not much of a hard time to find parking at the time we came, but I can see that I could be a bit challenging to find parking around the area of this restaurant. we came in a little later in the evening and they were in the process of starting to close so we were about the last table they were taking in. the place was pretty empty with plenty of reason and I will tell why. because we came so close to the closing time the waitress was not super happy to get one more table towards the end of the night. The ambiance here is very well planed and there is plenty of character and plenty of art to look at, that I must give to them, they made the place look fancy and romantic. - ONION AND SPINACH PAKORA - it is a very weird fried onion and spinach plate with a couple of sauces, the onions themselves were not very impressive, the spinach did give a bit of elevation to the appetizer and the sauces were definitely fun to play with to add flavor, I would though choose a larger kind of onion for this dish as out onion kept breaking inside the sauce because it was too skinny. - NAAN - I was definitely not impressed with it. I wish there was more flavor to it, I had better in other places. - LAMB CHOP- it did taste pretty nice, the sauce was very good, the lamb was very nice and moist, the serving was disappointing for the price however. - CHICKEN CURRY- here is where it all went south for us on the service, we wanted to share a plate of this curry btw 2 ppl, the waitress was so eager to get us out the door she actually served us each one plate. the mistake with the curry was pretty irritating as this place is very over priced and we were so frustrated with the waitress that we didn't even wanna bother her any longer and give the meal back, so we swallowed our pride and tried to eat all the food as it was. the place is nice and the ambiance is pretty cool as I said, but it is smoke and mirrors as far as the experience goes in my opinion, the staff is not very friendly not pleasant and they cannot pretend to be happy to see you there, the food was ok but the price was not specially for the serving sizes of some of the dishes. I will not come back here.

Due to the recent power outage, it took a while for them to make some of the dishes (and they couldn't make any pizzas), but overall it didn't matter too much....and, it was helpful that they warned us in advance that it could take an hour or so to prepare certain dishes. Here are some thoughts: - We started with some of the specialty cocktails they were offering. The Pisco Sour was really good, but a bit sweeter for my taste than I was hoping for. - Given the situation with the power, we opted to start with some items our server said could be served more quickly and decided that the three of us would just share everything. Our first item was the cheese balls appetizer and then we had the ceviche. We're glad we started with these because both dishes were excellent...don't underestimate the cheese balls...they are so good with the guava sauce on top! - Eventually our Churrasco Tiritas came out to our table, prepared with the Salsa Setas Curry and with the Assoz del Chef on the side. Wow, wow, wow! This was an amazing dish...so good, that I practically wanted to lick the plate! - Since it was so late by this time, we didn't have any dessert. - Service overall was pretty good, although our drinks sat empty for a long time and we finally had to flag him over to get some water. Bottom line: Asia de Lima has amazing food and the place is very small and cozy...I'm not sure if they are ever very speedy, but that seems to be the norm in Puerto Rico. We would go back!

I came to Puerto Rico wanting to stick to authentic local food, but I was convinced to try this…read morespot and I have to admit, it was surprisingly good. Parking is a bit of a downside since there isn't much available, so I had to pay for parking. Once inside, though, everything moved incredibly fast. I got my food in less than 10 minutes, which is probably the fastest I've ever been served at a restaurant. It almost made me question how fresh it was, but after eating, I can say it was actually very good. I ordered the grilled white fish with lemon and egg fried rice with yum yum sauce on the side, plus shrimp tempura sushi to go. The yum yum sauce tasted like a mix of ketchup and mayonnaise, but when I mixed it with the fried rice, it was really, really good. The fish itself was tasty but needed more salt I ended up adding salt and squeezing lime over it to bring out the flavor. It seemed like it was only seasoned during marination and not finished properly. The salad wasn't anything special, but overall, for how quickly the food came out, the quality was impressive. Portions are generous, and the pricing matches what you get. We came around midnight and left close to 1 AM when they were closing. The place looked packed, but service was still quick and efficient. Our server was okay--nothing standout, but no issues either. Overall, I'd come back. Fast service, solid food, and a good late-night option.

If I could give zero stars, I would. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. GET CHINESE FOOD FROM SOMEWHERE…read moreELSE. Came with a group of nine from different culture backgrounds, and unfortunately the service was a mess from the start. Our server got visibly angry when my friend asked him to repeat an answer to a menu question. The servers response was hard to understand and when asked to repeat himself he actually yelled at my friend in front of the table, snatched the menu out of his hand, and threw it onto a chair behind him. Completely unprofessional and uncomfortable for everyone. We should've left after this, but didn't because we were hungry. Only half the table was asked for drink orders, and the rest of us were given water. I flagged our server down to order a martini that never came, yet they still tried to charge me for it at the end. We waited an hour for our food and it came out at very different times (also not hot), so we weren't able to eat together. The soups were inconsistent. The miso crab soup and the regular miso were prepared differently and both lacked ingredients. We thought it was odd that the miso crab soup had noodles while the regular miso didn't. Honestly felt like a way to make up for the lack of actual crab in it. The sushi itself was disappointing, overall just subpar. I ordered the bento box and wasn't expecting fried salmon (I've never seen it prepared that way), and my food came out last after everyone else had already finished eating. Everything was bland and lacked flavor. This place clearly can't handle parties larger than four otherwise you will be cramped in a corner, and you can only split checks into a maximum of three payments, which no one told us upfront. To top it off, the server still had the audacity to ask for a tip. I had no problem telling him no and stated that we were unsatisfied with both the service and the meal. Coming from someone who works in hospitality, if I had been dining alone and not with eight other people, I would have walked out. That's how bad the experience was. Overall, not a great time and wouldn't recommend this as a restaurant to eat at. Matter of fact, try out Zhencha Boba Cafe for a better Chinese cuisine. I had it on my last trip to PR and went with a group of 6. That place didn't disappoint at all and the service was amazing. Everyone I was with spoke fluent Spanish and I'm still learning, the server was very patient.

At Himalaya's, I had their seafood hot pot. All of the seafood was not fresh, but that may be because of the hurricane. I didn't like how the hot pot was just full of sauce. If it were some kind of broth (like it's supposed to be) I would have enjoyed it more. But the "hot pot" ($22) was more like a giant stir fry swimming in soy sauce mixture. I did like the presentation though and the rice was nice. I'm glad there's an Asian stall but seeing them boil ramen packages like I do at home and then charge $15 is not what I call good eats.
