Bangin Vegan Eats makes a non-Vegan go Vegan. They have the most delicious combinations of food that you wouldn't even know that you're not eating meat. First introduced to them at a brewery and man I was blown away. So much so, I went back a couple hours later to order a meal for my son. I introduced one of my best friends to them a couple months ago and she was blown away with how delicious they were, as well. If you ever catch them in their food truck, I highly recommend you give them a try. You truly won't be disappointed.

Wow! Went for a little walk and stumbled upon their food truck. I went for the Hunny Garlic Bangers and OMG, so good! It was Bangin'. It was bussin'. No cap! I went home to have my kids try it and they didn't even realize it was vegan. They thought they were eating chicken. They are on this anti-vegan kick (because social media, I guess), but they kept coming back for more! My other kid said the fries were good too. He's a picky eater, even with fries... But he was happy! I'm going to have to try the other Bangin' items on the menu the next time I come across them. A lot of the stuff on their menu looked really good.

My all time favorite food truck!!! I bring so many visitors from out of town because everyone is always blown away by how delicious this food is, especially the non vegan eaters. I love the weekly specials they come up with as well, by my alll time favorite if the Crunchwrap.

Bangin' is an understatement. We love their food so so much. We've thought about it all year since our last trip to the area. The cauliflower bangers (wings) are incredible. Great customer service, always fresh, multiple locations per week. Just perfect.

This little food truck is so good, and you'd never even know it was vegan! They were at a brewery and my friend and I decided to try it out, even though we are meat eaters. We started with the hunny garlic bangers upon the recommendation of the lady taking orders (who had a lot of great suggestions and info btw). They were so crispy and incredibly flavorful- my friend actually attempted to lick the sauce off the bottom of the plate! We both ordered the thic chic burger because the people next to us were raving about it. They had just the right amount of heat and the mac and cheese in the sandwich was a brilliant addition. The 'chicken' didn't really have the consistency of chicken, but honestly we didn't care because again, the flavors are so great. The fries were fine, but their dipping sauces were fantastic- we got the ranch and bangin' sauce and both were outstanding. Would definitely eat here again!

Bangin' Vegan has a large selection of popular food truck dishes that typically have meat or cheese as the star ingredient- only these are vegan replicas. I had the Thic Chic sandwich. I chose this largely because I wanted vegetables and this was the one menu item listed as coming with lettuce. Sure enough it tasted just like a buffalo chicken sandwich with lettuce and chopped sautéed onions on it. It came with French fries that had an interesting seasoning- cinnamon maybe? They were good!

We ate here during Pickers Hullabaloo. The mac and cheese fries were savory and delicious, but holy hell, the garlic bangers. I would live off those if I could. Generous portions.

I ordered the fried cauliflower and it was delicious! I am taking away some stars because of the cost. After taxes, I paid over $14 for an average size portion of cauliflower. I just cannot justify the cost. Overall it was good, but I would not order again if it was at my local brewery because of the expense. Grab some fries down the road if you're craving something fried and loaded.

Bangin' Vegan Eats is a local Charleston food truck where all options are, you guessed it, vegan! This good truck is a great compromise for dinner when you have a variety of dietary restrictions in your party. We were able to try Bangin' at one of the local breweries and it provided a nice food option while enjoying some local beers. The service was great, and the food was ready pretty quickly considering it was a busy Friday night. We got the honey garlic cauliflower wings (honestly one of my favorite meals, I love a good cauli wing) and they were absolutely delicious! Perfect texture and the sauce was delicious. We got a side of fries on the side, they are seasoned and we got them with the house fry sauce. Unlike most places they serve crinkle fries which is always a nice surprise. I definitely recommend keeping an eye on their social media to see where around town they are and giving them a try. Everything we saw of the other dishes made it seem like all of their food will be delicious. I can't wait to try other options next time!

Never had a meal here I didn't like. Service is amazing, the owners are so sweet, and the food is DELICIOUS! You would never know it's vegan if it weren't written all over the truck. Wish I could leave more than five stars!

The food truck(trailer), great design and easy to recognize, which is a plus at festivals or when you just happen to be passing by.

I've seen them around and plenty of enticing pictures of their food an had finally found the time to give them a try. I went with the special menu item, the Philly Cheeze Steak, and upgraded my side of fries to their Mac Attack fries. The flavors were phenomenal and whether you are vegan or not doesn't matter because this food is hands down delicious. I ended up realizing I had enough food for two people, but I just took it as an opportunity to enjoy it twice as much. Definitely a food truck to follow and find when it sets up near you.

I came to a brewery to work as a vendor and was nervous to try the food truck bc it was "vegan." I didn't bring any food with me to the event and the brewery didn't have anything, so I was curious to try it. Omg it was so good and I would highly recommend the food! The service was great and they were quick getting the food out. I had the hunny ginger bangers which is friend cauliflower in all sorts of deliciousness.

When we visited on a weekday evening, we were seated quickly with no wait! We started with the corn ribs, which were honestly one of the BEST appetizers we've ever had! They had the texture and flavor of ribs but were made from corn and served with an incredible chipotle dipping sauce that brought everything together perfectly! For our main dish, we ordered the spinach and feta pita, which was warm, gooey, and packed with flavor. The pita was stuffed with spinach and feta, making it rich and comforting--almost like a warm hug. It also came with a fresh side salad that was tangy and refreshing, which balanced the richness of the pita really well! I do wish that the pita was a bit more flavorful on the inside, not just the outside. My husband also ordered an Old Fashioned and said it was excellent. Overall, the food felt incredibly fresh and thoughtfully prepared. If you're looking for a cozy spot in Charleston with fresh ingredients and great flavors, this place is definitely worth visiting!

We didn't invite the whole crew because I've learned that my friends don't enjoy large groups for brunch, lunch or dinner. Everyone gets impatient! So we kept it a secret and only three of us headed downtown for brunch. We were sat in the first booth/table right in front of the hostess stand. Just on the other side of the wall was the bar area that has the beautiful moving flowers. It's definitely a show stopper and photos and boomerang videos are a must! Since we had all looked at the menu, we came in with a plan for apps, but we were still up in the air on entrees. After ordering some Prosecco, we ordered their peaches, tomatoes, and burrata. My last brunch with burrata downtown CHS was at Sorelle. So I immediately compared the two and felt Sorelle won. I also found the peaches and tomatoes both to be mealy. And it was peaches and tomato season, so that was disappointing. The second appetizer we shared was the hot blue crab dip. The first bite of the dip was delicious. It's served hot and there is lots of blue crab. My downfall with this dish is for $26 they serve the dip with flimsy tortilla chips. I'm sorry, but for $26 and a hearty dip, you've got to give me toast points. Buttery, warm, toasted French bread would be perfect! After debating between their wagu smashburger and the short rib hash, the server steered me to the hash. And I'm super glad she did! That was the best bites of the day!! I love sauces and this was served with two. Both delicious. The eggs were cooked perfect and the short rib and potatoes were both great. I was stuffed and didn't even put a dent in the plate! My friends ordered the Shakshouka and their Benedict. I didn't try either of their entrees, but they both didn't love their choices. I'm glad my hash was excellent or this could have turned into a big birthday bust! Since it was my birthday the server had the kitchen prepare us a dessert. It took some time because it was the chocolate mousse cake I believe and it came out pipping hot! I was too full and only had one bite, but it was very sweet gesture. We don't dine downtown a ton. When we do we like to try new spots, so we won't rush back to the Select. But it was a good start to my birthday celebrations!

Just like the ATL location, the vibe was pretty and floral and the food was yummy. I hadn't had brunch there before, so this visit was still a treat. I will note that the wheelchair and handicap accessible parking isn't right near the entrance, which almost made us choose another restaurant once we saw that we'd have to park in the garage or across the street.

Before before getting to the food, the space was inviting and had a lot of cool touches. And the service was great! My wife, youngest, and I shared a number of plates. Some of the first include included the Kinilaw, the Lumpia, and the Laing. The Kinilaw is a yellow tuna dish. The tuna melted in your mouth and the flavors from the coconut-leche dressing, ginger, and jalapeño, as well as the fresh mint, added to the flavor palette. I didn't try the Lumpia because it is skinny spring rolls made with ground pork. My wife and youngest said they were great in really enjoyed the taste. The Laing was a vegetable dish involving creamy brace kale with garlic, ginger, and coconut milk. Of course it sounds different and it was, but in a really good way. Again, the way the flavors worked together was really great. The last dish we got was the Curry. It is grilled red snapper with braised, mung beans, tempura sweet potatoes over coconut red curry sauce and rice. It was so good. Again, the flavors in this dish were amazing. The fish was cooked just right. And the way the dish worked together was a piece of culinary art. They also had cool cocktails, good beers, and even mocktails for our teenager. He explained the menu well and provided good direction on wine. All of the other employees we interacted with were friendly and helpful too. On the to important part, the food. The three of us shared plates throughout the meal. i want to hit the highlights. We started with the Seared Blue Fin Tuna, the Radishes, and the Cauliflower. We picked the tuna dish after watching one being made almost in front of us for another table. It was as good as it looked. It was different than any tuna dish I have had thanks to the cashew tahini the dish sat on. The flavors together were great. The Cauliflower was cooked, then maybe fried, and tasted great with the green curry and peanut sauce. We enjoyed this dish. Out of the three I think that, surprisingly, the Radishes were my favorite. The dish includes almond, charcoal, and green olive. There also was fresh dill that was great. The flavors were fantastic and took away some of the usual sharpness you have with radishes. If you go, try this dish. The mains we shared were the Market Fish and the Carrot Bolognese. The Market Fish was great. The sunchoke veloute, mushrooms, and salsa verde added great flavor. But I want to spend more time on the Carrot Bolognese, which was my other favorite dish. It included rigatoni, labneh, and ricotta salata. I am not a good enough cook to deduce how exactly the carrots were cooked and prepared, but it was a carrot based sauce over the rigatoni and it was simply fantastic. Even my carnivore wife and son thought it was amazing. If you find yourself in Charleston and want to treat yourself right, you need to make your way to Sorghum & Salt.

I was lucky to be the first there and they were able to accommodate me, party of 1. The waitress that seated and guided me through the menu was very informative and patient with me. I decided on the pineapple ginger fresh juice, which came in an individual sized bottle for you to poor over ice. It was so refreshing and tasty. I find myself wanting to go by just to get some. After asking that she ensure that I not order anything spicy, I decided on the Red-Red Ndambe dip which reminded me of a a black eyed pea chili, served with Naan. It was amazing. I felt like I was eating a vegetable bowl of chili, it was so comforting and flavorful. I would definitely order it again. I could not decide between the Thieboudieun (Grouper fish with jollof)or the Green Gumbo Okra (which can come with either broken rice or fufu), as they both were tempting. I asked her to pick for me, letting her know either would be fine with me. She decided on the Thieboudieun and I was not disappointed. The flavors were plentiful and great!! When I was asked by some patrons and anyone else that inquired, all i can say is THE FLAVORS!! I cannot fully describe them, but they were plentiful and delicious!! My only regret was I wish I had others with me so we could all try various items off of the menu. Everything was delish!! The atmosphere is very laid back and cool. My only negative, which is SO MINOR, but I feel I have to mention for hearty eaters, is that the piece of grouper was very small (in my opinion). I would say it was about 3-4 ounces of grouper, which is small for an entree protein, but it was delicious! With that being said, bcz I had the appetizer I ended up taking half of my food home for lunch the next day and that red jollof sauce rice was even better the next day! The drink options are limited to juices, though we were perfectly happy sticking with water. Anita was fantastic about answering questions and helping us understand the dishes and their spice levels. We decided to share everything so we could try as much as possible. We started with the Suya Skewers, and they were fantastic. The seasoning was spot on and the beef was incredibly tender--each bite practically melted in your mouth. Next came the Mafe Peanut Stew and... holy cow. Absolutely delicious. Rich, comforting, and full of flavor. The portions here are generous, which made sharing easy and let us really enjoy the dish. Our final entrée was the Thieboudien, a beautiful grouper fillet served with vegetables and jollof rice. Another wow moment. The fish was perfectly cooked and the flavors throughout the dish were outstanding. We couldn't resist ordering a side of Ripe Plantains, and we're so glad we did. They were cooked perfectly--sweet, caramelized, and quite possibly the best plantains we've ever had. Bottom line: if you're willing to step a little outside your comfort zone and you love truly outstanding food, this is absolutely a place worth trying. Sometimes the most memorable meals come from the most unexpected places.
