The last time I visited, I remember the locals there talking with the owners. Several saying that they are regular customers and how happy they were with the food. It's a fairly small restaurant at a strip mall off of Watt Ave. A cozy little place and the owners ( who speak Spanish ) are happy to serve you. You won't be disappointed with the food. I'm lactose intolerant and really sensitive to dairy so I asked about the cheese being in it. He confirmed it was in there, so I asked if they can just take it back- the waiter said no. I then asked if they can just take it off the bill because I couldn't eat it. He said no to that too. My husband doesn't eat meat and my son is lactose intolerant so it was going to be food wasted and money down the drain. I was pretty shocked because I've never been to a restaurant where they can't reasonable accommodate the guest. I then ordered my entree and the chicken was very dry and overcooked. I was not satisfied but I knew they wouldn't let me swap it for something else. Unfortunately I'm not going to rush to come back. The waiter was friendly enough but not accommodating. I get nervous when it comes to food allergies because now I know that some restaurants aren't disclosing food allergens which is actually not allowed. There are folks out here with life threatening allergies, so these places need to be careful. I'm glad I'm not one of those people but it's still disappointing.
