I was told to try a burger at Banderas and thought, "Hey, why not!" This food truck is in a parking lot with other food truck vendors (tacos, churros, tortillas) and there is plenty of parking. We went around 4pm on a Friday and it wasn't too busy. They do have a hand washing station, which I believe is great touch to their business. They do have tables to sit at and music was playing. We decided to order a cheeseburger meal and I wanted to try the BBQ chicken sandwich as well. The cheeseburger was good, fries are crispy and good. The BBQ chicken sandwich is made on sourdough bread, which I like, although I thought the sandwich was small. The prices are reasonable, which I always appreciate. If I'm in the area and I want a burger, this would be my spot.
There are several food trucks at the corner of Virginia and Mt. Vernon. A friend told us about Banderas and we were in the mood for a burger. It's easy-to-find on the corner of Virginia and Mt. Vernon. I think it is a church parking lot. It's spotless. There are hand washing stations, and the parking lot is spacious. There were several burgers on the menu. My wife opted for the cheeseburger. I got the mushroom burger combo so we could share the fries and drink. The meat was tender on a sesame seed bun. It was a good-sized patty with plenty of mushrooms. The flavor was good. My wife said the cheeseburger was "tasty". Careful of the peppers. They are hot. It was affordable. So, if you're in the mood for a tasty burger and on the east side, stop by this food truck.
I visited Banderas Burger and overall had a decent experience. The food was good with no complaints, and the wait time wasn't long, which was a plus. One small suggestion would be updating the menu and photos on Yelp, as the pricing appears to have changed since they were posted. Having a current menu online would be helpful for customers.

They were not busy at the time so I was helped by the nice staff at the Banderas Burger truck right away. I ordered their Double Cheeseburger and Fries. Sat down at one of the tables they had set up under one of their canopies. About 10 minutes later my burger and fries were brought to me. I thoroughly enjoyed eating that delicious Double Cheeseburger and French fries in the cold. Helped warm me up. Their burger tasted better than those fast food chains. Definitely one to the better burgers that I've tried in Bakersfield. Give Banderas Burger a try. Excellent chance that you will be a fan of theirs as well.

I went here on a spur of the moment whim. So glad I did. The lady who worked the window of this tiny food truck was so nice. We talked and laughed and she gave excellent advice. She suggested I get the Sausage Burger. God was she right. That Burger was extraordinary. Juicy, tender and hot. Along with the fries that crunched every bite, I enjoyed my meal. Prices are great. I paid less than $15. Burger, fries and a soda. Well worth it. Eat your meal under the roof outside. Enjoy the music and the food. I highly recommend this little Burger joint.
Banderas burgers is my go to for burgers in the east side of town. It's a great lunch stop shop. I always call my orders in advance and they're ready in 10 minutes which is quick for freshly made items. My friends were impressed by the cleanliness of the outdoor seating area and the truck. I plan to keep returning.
Our 3rd time coming here. Our 2nd time was about 3 weeks ago and they had messed up on one of our burgers and responded quickly and remade it. My kids wanted an avocado burger from them while i ate churros this past Saturday. It didn't seem busy but orders were coming out and people popping out. We ordered a simple hamburger combo with no onions with avocado with a coke. We didnt check our food until we got home. When opening thw wrapper it smelled strong like peppers. The burger inside was with pineapple, lettuce, white cheese, and sliced jalapenos. The kids tried a bite and didn't like it. I called their number which is automated and goes to a full mailbox and then messaged them on instagraham, which they read that saturday but never responded. My kids didn't want to eat nor wanted me to go back that night. So paid for fries and a can of soda and a burger tossed in the trash. The lady with the glasses took my card for payment but didnt give a receipt nor was one in the bag, just like last time.
So, look at this bacon. Perfectly crisp, piled on and appropriately arranged so every dang bite had gratuitous bacon involvement. I was super excited to try Banderas and I loved every single bite. I finished the sweet potato fries before I even got home and the burger was *chefs kiss* Friendly service, fast prep and im a happy camper. Listen, when there are burgers like this supporting a local family of equal or even lesser Cost than fast food joints - it is definitely the best burger for me!

I'm a sucker for family deals to feed my family of 4. The family meal includes 4 burgers and fries for $25. Unfortunately it did not include drinks which was kind of a downer. Their cheeseburgers and fries were decent. Just a like any local burger, can't complain. I did like that it had grilled onions. Their menu offers much more which I would like to try another time like their hot link burger and pineapple burger.

Drove by this place for over a year and finally decided to stop and give it a shot. Let's just say I should have came many moons ago. The place a cool little spot on the corner of Mt. Vernon/ Virginia. The staff was really nice and friendly. The food was very delicious and fresh. I had the double cheeseburger combo and the kids had a single cheeseburger combos. The food portions and burgers are big and the fries were nice and crispy,crunchy and fresh! I'm coming back! read more
The food is absolutely on point. Service was on point. They give you a little buzzer to let you know your order is ready. Ambiance is nice. Shaded seating area and clean tables. I ordered the BBQ Burger and it was great. The fries, excellent. My mom ordered a hamburger that she really enjoyed. The onion rings were great except for that giant one in the photo. It was more hush puppy breading than onion ring. All breading. Still it was an overall excellent meal and we will be back. read more

Was really craving a Good Burger and I Came Across this Gem on Google Reviews. Got me a Pineapple Jalapeño Burger and Made it a Double. Honestly very Good Burger 8.5 out of 10. The only one thing that was lacking is more Seasoning on the Actual Patty. Once you mix all the Flavors it is good But Needs a Good Seasoning. Fries Were 9 out of 10 very Crisp and Fresh and Not Oily at all. I want to go back a Second Time and Try something else. The Owner or Cashier is Very Friendly and Offers Great Customer Service. They have Zelle or Take Debit Credit Cards. They have a $1 Card Fee Or No Fee if you use Zelle. One of the best burgers in Bakersfield. Service was great. Food truck was in a church parking lot which was great because there was other options. I'm so glad I got a burger. I got a double cheeseburger fries. It was great. The burger was hot and fresh. Fries were hot and salted perfectly. Will be going back again. read more

To start off with, probably the only place in town to actually live up to the title fast food. We had ordered and gotten our food in less than 15 minutes. We had ordered two burgers, a torta, two sides of fries. Let me tell you they aren't afraid to salt their fries both regular and sweet potato were not lacking. Both fries were crisp outside and soft inside. Just the way they should be. The portion size matches their prices. I had the hot link burger. I was only expecting two thin slices of link like any other place. No, they loaded it no skimp on hot linkage. The burger is of normal size. The bun is toasted. Pickles were chips but tasted like stacker strips, great as well. My sister had the western burger she was moaning over their BBQ sauce. The onion ring was the same with as the burger itself. The torta was huge. The chicken is strip style. Husband really didn't really describe his meal like my sister does. I was not going to ever eat here, just because I'm not a truck kinda person. But I'm glad I finally gave it a try. Very impressed on service, quality and quantity. read more

We had burgers delivered from this place last week. I had the Hawaiian burger. It's wonderful! It has jalapeño and pineapple and a lot of other good things. I added bacon. The meat is high-quality, juicy and delicious. I had sweet potato fries along with it and they were also delicious. My wife had a cheeseburger and curly fries. She was equally impressed with the quality and flavor of the food. We will definitely be going back for more! I like the fact that they have a smaller menu though I would love to see a burger with blue cheese and bacon. Update: We've eaten here several times and I just tried the hot dog for the time. Oh my gosh... I think that might be my new favorite! When I first saw it, I was kind of shocked at it's appearance. Had all kinds of stuff piled on top of it and I typically like a plain hot dog. But I was so glad that I got all the toppings. The flavors were so wonderful together! I want another this weekend! Still wishing for that blue cheeseburger and maybe some milkshakes. read more

Great Food! Was recommended by a friend. And now i recommend it to everyone who gets to view this post. I decided to go with the workers choice which was the hotlink burger and i decided to get the zucchini fries. They were cooked to perfection. Sometimes you get these zucchini fries elsewhere and they aren't fully cooked or they are over cooked, but not here. Service was fast we placed out order then walked a couple feet to the store to buy a beverage since they do not sell beverages. Which was okay because as soon as we sat down they brought our food right away. read more

This place is a nice hidden gem in the north side of town. My experience here was great , the food was delicious and fresh,and the service top notch. Like I always say I love supporting local business whenever I can , and today I didn't mind making the drive across town to finally check this burger spot off my list. I was in the mood for a really good burger, and wanted to try something local and somewhere i could still eat out and not have to take it home and it be cold. They have a nice little shady area for people to sit down at and they come and bring you your order when it's ready.The woman taking the orders was super friendly and made sure to come by every so often and see if we needed anything. My wife and kids loved the place and it's not expensive at all. They offer mostly burgers and some other menu items but the menu is just the right size not over done. I always say if you're gonna have a restaurant whatever you have on the menu keep it simple and make it right , and Banderas is definitely delivering on that. The menu items are sold separately and there are no drink options, but that's ok there's a convince store steps away , and you can get whatever you want to drink there. Overall we had a good experience and will be definitely returning soon. Look at the pictures to see what was for dinner ! read more
