They serve Big Dipper ice cream, which is the best CT distributor in my opinion. Banana's offers some flavors that you can't even get directly from Big Dipper. Creative sundaes, including the (seasonal) apple pie one (pictured). One of my favorite features is a list of all of their flavors and a list of potential allergens in them. Very helpful for someone like me who has multiple allergies.

Love this place, the staff is always attentive, and the ice cream is delicious. Still good even after change of ownership.

No. Hard no…read more "Do you make the cookies in house?" "No, but they're hand made by bakers" By who? The continental cookie company? The first bite you knew exactly what you just got ripped off for. The staff, was rude. "The ingredients are flown in from Europe and the cookies are handmade in the city" are you sure? "do you think I'm lying?" With an attitude? Well. Yes. In fact do less. Because if the ingredients are flown in from Europe they should know what they're doing with them because these my dear are from the continental cookie company. But don't bark at me when it's the single most dry cookie I've ever attempted to eat. The raspberry jam was so artificial. For 43.00 a pound at least get GOOD bulk cookies. Because for an employee to be as nasty and defensive but have an answer for everything? Just say you were wrong and move on, nope you wanted to argue. Brunette, glove on, to serve the dry cookies, only to then touch the lids with said glove between. Took cash while wearing glove, made change (23.00 for 5 small cookies and 2 small coffees) and then with the same hand put the cookies in a bag, while with the glove fiddling with stickers to close the bag. 7.50+ each for small coffees (one latte one cappuccino) neither made properly. An amalgamation of crumpled sugar packets that look like they'd been taken from other establishments stuffed in a small tin on the counter. You want to be some form of Parisian patisserie? Pretend better. Over priced and the entire case looks awful and if you're going to employ people who would rather play on their phone than do their job? At least make sure they can be composed. The young blonde was polite and kind throughout, the dark haired employee? Thankyou for telling us you're not the owner, because the owner should really evaluate your customer service. Needless to say we went back in to return the cookies because the one my husband choked down was enough but the abhorrent attitude solidified this being a terrible experience.

The knowledge of the staff truly stood out! She was incredibly informative about the cakes and pastries and even took the time to recommend latte flavor profiles that paired beautifully with the desserts. That level of expertise made the experience feel extra special. The entire staff was sweet, welcoming, and attentive from start to finish. It's the kind of place that makes you want to linger and come back again. Wishing them nothing but continued success and a long, thriving future--this is a place the community is lucky to have!

The class size was about 8-10 of us, a nice mix of people like me who were new to the sourdough adventure, and some more experienced. The class was $200. The different stages of starter development, proofing, fermentation, shaping and baking were demonstrated. At the end, you get a container of starter and a loaf to take home. For a new sourdough baker, I wish there was more hands on so you feel the textures of the dough.

There are sandwiches, sweet treats, sourdough bread varieties, focaccia, cookies, coffee and more. The place is inviting and casual with air of class and attention to detail. Very welcoming. There is seating avaible to enjoy your coffee or cornetto. The products are all thoughtfully displayed and the service was genuinely friendly and upbeat. The cornetto with him and cheese was a simple and delicious sandwich. The bomboloni (1 pistachio and 1 lemon) were light and decadent at the same time, with a creamy custard like filling with subtle tastes of lemon and pistachio. I will be coming back for these. The garlic sourdough was filled with whole garlic gloves baked in with a nice chewy outside crust and soft inside. The country sourdough was equally amazing. Both great for dipping, sandwiches, toast, or simply spreading with a good quality butter or jam. There are no preservatives or artificial ingredients and all is made by hand. Right off the Post Rd in Westport with a small parking lot shared with other businesses. I highly recommend and will be a regular!
