She helped me find two outfits for each of the 5 kids from 2 to 10 I was looking to buy for. She heard me when I described their body type and mixed and matched the perfect outfits! As I was in the store an older woman asked me politely if I needed help, which I declined. Then while on the phone trying to decide, I touched a bag as I walked past it and another associate (Jen I believe) yelled out, that bag is ..... and I had no I sea age was even talking to me. ( because all I did was touch it). Then the lunch box I wanted only the display was out so I took that one. While still looking, the same rude worker came over to me, took the bag out of my hand and gave me a different one. Only until I said "there was no other bag there so I took this one" then did she explain why she did that. She said I couldn't have the display despite there being no additional bag to take instead. When I checked out, she was the one to ring me up. I had my birthday coupon so I showed it to her, then she questioned me if it was my birthday, I said yes that's why I have the coupon. It was uncomfortable. She was also very rude to a customer trying to buy suitcases. When I left the outlet about 2 hours later, she was behind me exiting the parking lot, and she honked at me as soon as the parking lot light changed. This was the rudest experience I've had. Her name I believe was Jen. I but a new backpack/lunchbox every 1-2 years (all my duffel travel bags are VB as well) and it was such an off putting experience. Jen was such a rude, non-personable, and disrespectful employee.

Just for kicks I'm doing the review and photos of my prized possession now. This Tommy Bahama Backpack has given me many years of use. It beautiful to look at and has three outside pockets. I used to take it to Target and Costco. Today I'm carrying some shoe donations to Fleet Feet. When I travel to Florida or Connecticut it's perfect for clothes and because it's cloth I can slide it under a seat. I also don't have the added weight of a heavy backpack in addition to the contents. I have had clothes and other accessories so I can safely say the Tommy Bahama merchandise holds up over time. My backpack is one of my treasures! Go to this store because it's a fantasy experience!!

I can not express the quality in this clothing. If you don't know the brand, Tommy Bahama is a Seattle-based manufacturer of casual, men's and women's sportswear and activewear, denim, swimwear, accessories, footwear and a complete home furnishings collection. They also make Rums! My number one reason why I love this clothing brand is the quality as well comfortable clothing. The shirts (I'm not a fan of the back panel shirts that have the TB logo) are relaxed and just scream summer / vacation. They promote a cool, layered look that makes me want to listen to Jimmy Buffet and have a margarita. With an umbrella in the glass. I said a friggin' umbrella!!! Now if you think this is a Men's store, guess again. They also have a great Women's selection! Dresses, Tops, Bathing suits. It's all here. Quality casual clothes, discounted at the Tanger Outlet Mall. (I love the Tanger Outlet Mall) What they don't sell is the furniture brand at this location as well as children's clothing. Why are their children in my Corona mind fantasy? Ok, back on topic. The TB brand also has a great fall clothing line with plaid shirts, pull over sweaters and sweatshirts as well as great jeans. You can find Tommy Bahama at Macy's, Neiman Marcus, Sak's Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, Lord & Taylor. I actually discovered the brand on vacation in Universal Studios and watched it grow into a huge label. Why not bypass all these stores and buy the brand at outlet pricing? However, after 10 days it did not arrive. I called the East Hampton store and was helped by Roberta who told me it was on backorder and suggested several other options. She texted me photos of all the available sweatshirts for children and provided sizing information as well. Then she shipped it out that day. When the package arrived shortly thereafter, it included a sweet birthday note for my grandson, as well as some small stickers and a cap. What a nice surprise! The manager went on break leaving this girl alone while I purchased my balloons and had to wait 15 minutes for the manger to return as she told the employee not to fill the balloons since it was only her on the register. Poor managing skills and how sad for that employee to have a manager who obviously shouldn't be in that position. The employee was apologetic and obviously not her fault. Will definitely take my business elsewhere from now on.
