I am a fan of New Balance sneakers. When I returned to Long Island to see my dad, I was up to…read moregetting a new pair of New Balance sneakers. In the Lake Ronkonkoma area; the places that I'd find New Balances in the past such as Kohl's, Dick's Sporting Goods, and the New Balance store by Smith Haven Mall were m.i.a on a good selection of them that were reasonably priced. So on my second full day on Long Island, my dad and I headed out on the Long Island Expressway to its easternmost end at Tanger Outlets to check out the New Balance Store in the eastern quadrant of the outdoor mall.      When I visited on May 16, 2024 at 12:30 pm, there were plenty of parking spaces leading to a short walk in my worn out New Balances to the business. When I walked in I passed the tables and racks of New Balance apparel on the way to the back where I explored the aisles of New Balance sneakers. I found the aisles to be nicely organized and clean. The left half of the aisles merchandised women sneakers where the right were men's. The aisles were further broken down by sneaker type and style. For example, I saw an aisle for training, another for walking, and so on. With this commendable selection were an impressive variety of sizes. Unlike some stores specializing in footwear, there were several sizes of each sneaker on the salesfloor.     The sales associates were helpful and patient. On account of how difficult it was for me to find a size that was comfortable to wear with my Superfeet insoles, it was necessary to go through boxes of sneakers to find the right one. In hindsight I should of taken a photo to show all of the boxes. The Associates gave zero issue as I tried on several pairs. One of the Associates went as far as to measure my feet, although the measurement was incorrect.    Thanks to the abundance of different sizes, I finally found a size 9E that fit comfortably. Complimenting the impressive selection of sneakers were the prices. In my mind, this store is the best deal for New Balance sneakers. After all this is a factory outlet store. On top of the low prices they offered some additional great deals that included 25% off some of the sneakers.    Based on my leading check-in here on May 16, 2024 at 12:30 pm, I can myself returning here when I visit my dad on Long Island. My Dad had even said that he plans to go to the Tanger Outlets more often than Kohl's.

This store is a joke. They are an affiliate of Topps yet they overprice all of their sports cards…read morecompared to other big chain stores!!! Their hours are also all over the place and when they did a BOGO sale they ended it three days sooner than it was listed and basically told me I was shit out of luck. That is an illegal practice to bait me into coming to the store and then claiming the sale doesn't exist. The sale was supposed to be until April 26th but they pulled the sale on 4/20!!! Do not support his company. Michael Rubin spends his whole summer in the Hamptons and do you think he visits his closest store? THINK AGAIN!!! He he has not been there ONCE!!! Also showed up there at 8pm and they were closed when the hours on their website say until 9.

Never have I ever gone into a store and been overcharged, and the employee not correct the mistake…read moreuntil today. I am visiting from Phoenix and found a hat that I thought my son would love. I proceeded to pay for the hat. When I went outside, I thought to myself, "boy, their tax must be high," only to discover that I was overcharged $5.00. The hat was marked 41.99 and the cashier charged me $46.99. He then told me it was store policy not to give me the difference. I told him you could not charge me more than the marked price. He said he had no pricing policy and that if he gave me the $5.00, he would get in trouble. Are you kidding me? Now I would have had no problem paying the 46.99 had the hat been marked as such. Well, stupid me did not return the hat because I want my son to have the cap, but I am pissed I was ripped off, and everyone from he to AZ will no of my experience. My son collects hats and has well over 50, and I will never purchase from LIDS again. I hope whoever is reading this review follows my lead and never shops at LIDS again. Don't get ripped off.

She walked over and asked to help we said we were looking for a certain color and size she immediately cut us off while we were talking and belittled us saying she can make this more easier on us her stance at this point was very aggressive and she looked angry then we asked her for a different size she said that they didn't have meanwhile we saw in top what we wanted we had to ask her again now for the box on top she continued just cleaning and yelled to her other coworker that this whole aisle where we were standing had to be redone causing people to look at us up then huffed and got the box on top it dropped down almost hitting my friends baby she was holding. The assistant manager said well there it is did not even apologize we then caught on to how she was behaving we questioned her if she had a problem that we didn't ask for help she goes I was on my way to my break as if we interrupted her! We said go we didn't stop you my friend then asked to speak to the manager because this was now getting ridiculous she then began to wave her badge in front of our faces saying she was the boss. Me and my friends we were a group of 4 we all had a purchase we were gonna make but unfortunately due to her treatment we simply placed our purchases on the ground and left I have never experienced something like in my life.
