I wish I had taken a picture of my Oreo Milk Tea drink that I had ordered from them. I am currently pregnant and I was craving something with cookies and crème with no Caffeine. I didn't get the cashiers name who helped me. Very nice young gentleman. He told me all those that I can order from the menu but he didn't know what I can and can't have because I am pregnant so I said something with no caffeine and that is cookies and crème. So he customized my order and told the back Oreo Milk tea but no Tea. The atmosphere of the place seems very calm and chill. Okay was super excited to try this place and I went off and got The Mango Milk Tea with Boba I know how it's suppose to taste because I've gotten this from other places many times BUT this one wasn't it, it has a very bitter Mango taste, and it's just plain funky. Visited this location on a Saturday night after dinner with my hubby. Parking is limited so it's recommended that you have a driver and passenger so the passenger can jump out and get the goods while the driver circles the block. My chè was too sweet and was NOT made fresh because it was ready within 2 minutes of ordering - not impressed and already had my reservations. Enjoyed their selection of drinks. You can go there every day for a month or so and not order the same drink from the menu. I had the Mango drink #12. which was yummy. My daughter had the Logan Sunrise #8. It was so nice and refreshing to have on a hot day. The coconut meat in the drink was fresh. Their avocado drink is fresh and not a powder mix. They use coconut milk instead of milk which is nice. The servers were very friendly and accommodating . Lots of different flavored teas, coffees, smoothies, ice creams and mix drinks are available. Love their selection of drinks and their pandan waffle. read more

I came here in here a few times to try out the pandan waffles, it came out soggy not crispy and nothing like the one in Pleasanton. No one working here was actually Vietnamese... if you have a viet authentic bubble tea place make sure at least one or a few of ur workers are lol... but The pale guy taking my order had long unkept hair and it wasn't even tied up and kept laughing with the other guys in the back. First time having Bambu and this did not disappoint! I love how fresh the ingredients were on our drinks also ordered egg puff waffles and it's by far the best one I've tried. Bambu is not a place I recommend to order boba. This place feels more like their Vietnamese desserts are the strong point. The black milk tea is still okay and the boba texture is average standard. This is on the basis that I look for places that sell boba milk tea in general and though they don't focus on it, they are fairly decent. It was also a new location when I tried it out and I compared it to a few bay area locations. It is a cozy spot and I even met the owners first day. They were helpful with recommendations and helped me understand what the desserts were. Overall, if you want some nice desserts or coconut water then this is worth coming back but not for boba. 6/10 read more

I tried Tracy Bambu today after hearing about its grand opening recently. The place is Filipino-run despite being Vietnamese and has some Filipino influence such as the Halo-Halo. I ordered the #5 Smashed Avocado and Matcha Milk Tea with boba. If you want warm guacamole (that's literally just smashed avocado with some toppings inside and a scoop of ice on top), order the Smashed Avocado. It was underwhelming. I like avocados as much as the next person, but when considering the price ($8.00!) and the description being "avocado, boba, coffee & rainbow jellies, condensed milk" it didn't taste like anything except warm avocado! ): If you're craving an avocado-type drink there are better places in Tracy such as Tracy Quickly's avocado smoothie. Unfortunately, I won't be coming back here. read more

I ordered the fruit addict (I highly recommend), taro lover, the pandan waffle and the bambu special. All the drinks were fruity and tasted fresh. The pandan waffle is crisp on the outside and warm and chewy on the inside. The workers are very friendly and drinks came out fast. The restaurant is well decorated and good for going with friends. This place is AMAZING! I tried most of the dessert drinks and they're all great. You can adjust the sweetness levels if you're not a sweet person, but overall they're refreshing and delicious. I ordered the bubble waffles, and they were good but did not come as ordered. The drinks (ordered 5 different) had a strange taste. We ended up tossing them out. Service is very slow, and it took about 15 to 20 minutes to get my order. I think they just need more employees. read more

I was so ecstatic for this store to open in Tracy. I am a loyal customer to this wonderful brand of drinks and desserts. But i just had a terrible experience with service. I came in to order a drink and a pandan waffle to treat myself. It wasnt busy at all, one customer ahead of me. Then 2 groups of customers after me, all got their drinks and I am still waiting. I walk up and see my drink is ALREADY waiting there and yet NO ONE called my name or number to let me know it was ready. At that point, I was the only customer in the store and they didnt have the decency to inform me that my food is ready. What in the world is this kind of service where they literally let my food cool for 15 mins and not let the customer know? Mind you, the whole point of delicious food is that it is fresh so it is enjoyable to eat. So, I take my order and not even a word from from the workers about anything. Just a wry smile, thats got me feeling like there is some sort of personal vendetta against me. It really brought my mood down and my food just didnt taste as great because of the experience.
