I've been here a couple times since my last review. On a previous visit, I tried their fresas con crema (strawberries with cream), which was delicious -- they topped it with granola for an extra crunch. This most recent time we stopped in just for their fresh juices, looking for something healthy and refreshing. Love that their juices are made to order and you can watch them making them. I ordered a custom mix with carrot, pineapple, ginger, and orange -- super tasty and perfectly balanced. My husband got their green juice, as-is, and enjoyed it too. They had made an oops on my drink but fixed it right away! and even gave me the little extra on the side. The service was super friendly on our very first visit -- the girls working that evening were warm and welcoming. These last couple of times though, it's been a guy helping us, and while he's efficient, he comes off more serious and not as personable, which changes the vibe. If you're in Tracy on a Saturday, you can hit up the farmer's market downtown and stop by La Bolsita, it's smack middle of the farmer's market :) I do wish they'd itemize the receipts instead of just showing the total -- it'd be nice to see the breakdown. So yummy and extremely authentic Mexican loncheria!!! I got the torta special in a bolsita with jamon (ham) y lomo (pork loin), my sister got the tostada, and the burritas to share with the salsas ahogada and sincronizada on everything. Everything was so good, it all tasted exactly how I does in jalos iykyk :P Service was quick. The inside cute and simple, great for a quick little lunch/snack. RAVE: La Bolsita - My New Favorite Spot in Downtown Tracy I had one of those random moments today where you walk into a place with zero expectations... and walk out genuinely impressed. I stopped by La Bolsita in downtown Tracy (right next to the roundabout on 9th) and I swear this spot deserves way more attention than it's getting. From the second I walked in, the place felt different -- super clean, bright, modern lighting, fresh plants, beautiful wall art, and a welcoming vibe. You can tell the owners actually care about their presentation and their customers. I ordered their Torta Especial and a fresh Green Juice, and let me tell you... The torta was HEAVY in the best way -- packed with meat, fresh veggies, melted cheese, and their own sauce that honestly deserves its own spotlight. Not dry at all, not greasy, just perfect. They brought out two salsas (one creamy, one with heat) that took it to another level. And that green juice? Fresh-pressed, ice-cold, and not watered down like other places. You can literally see the ingredients in their fridge right behind the counter -- everything is clean, organized, and fresh. While I was waiting, I looked around and realized how much work they put into this place: Super clean dining area Holiday décor done right TV playing, relaxing vibe Friendly staff who actually check on you Prices are solid for what you get A big menu: tortas, quesadillas, molletes, fresh juices, shakes, tostadas, burritos -- even Doritos nachos It honestly felt like the kind of family-owned spot you want to support, not some cookie-cutter chain. We wandered into La Bolsita for the first time yesterday. Never been, but have seen raves from locals and wanted to give this new business a try. My overall review is mixed. I would 10/10 recommend stopping in here for a fresh squeezed juice. How great it is that we have that option in town now? I ordered an Orange Pineapple juice and it was DELICIOUS!! What a treat! I also ordered a Tostada. Which arrived LOADED with meat. I originally wanted to order steak but the guy at the counter said they don't usually do the steak on a tostada because it gets too soggy, and recommended the pork loin. So, that's what I decided to try. I appreciated the freshness of the veggies, but overall, there was a lack of flavor and the pork was so dry it was hard to eat. It didn't leave me with a good first impression. I'll certainly be back for a juice next time I want a treat, but may wait a bit before giving the food another try. read more

Don't go here if you are expecting authentic Mexican food! Its like your white boyfriend toss whatever he had in the pantry together. All in all, delicious! Doritos Super Nacho was exactly what it is...got pickled pork ears, slice meat and hotdogs. I have no idea what they put in that cheese sauce but the side of their red salsa was hot! The torta was a basic sandwhich--can't go wrong, we had the sauce on the side and didn't touch it but a legit american sandwhich. They got smoothie and shakes that seems pretty popular and fruit cups! It's definitly giving if a street vendor got a restaurant. Fun. read more

Tried this cute spot this morning. YES, Sunday!!!! So we ordered some fresh juice, strawberries and cream, and enjoyed some samples of Dorito Salad! Wow! Orange juice is fresh and delicious. Green juice is fantastic and the sample of Doritos salad was so good. You can order the salad and add meat to it!! They serve fresh fruit to order, coffee, milkshakes, bagels, quesadillas and Torta's! We're coming back for the food on our next visit. Try it out folk's, even if you want a place to go on Sunday's. I was looking forward to try this food! Fresh, natural and Mexican but was a big let down. When the cashier asked me if I wanted ice on my freshly made juices should have been a red flag. Nobody should add ice to a freshly squeezed juice which is being charged enough to be watered down with ice. But I didn't mind since I said: "no ice". Then, when I saw the total of my meals was shocked but my bad...it was $50 for two freshly made juices and two vegetarian tortas. The juices were $9 each so I assume the tortas about $13-16 given the taxes bit was not given a detailed receipt just the total I paid I thought...those might be very good tortas!! My bad I left them a 15% tip even though it was to go When I arrived to my destination to eat the torta I almost died I couldn't believe all I got was a bread with a smear of vegetables. Plus some sauce I was told comes with it. When I ordered before I paid I asked if the torta comes with guacamole and the cashier made it seem like it was very good with a decent amount of vegetables. But Nope! It was a lie... They either don't have good communication or I was charged full price for a regular meat torta and all they did was remove the meat and give me what is left nothing added. 100% the best tortas in tracy NO DOUBT!! Me and my partner went there for dinner and the service was so good and crazy quick too. They have one tv that usually plays soccer which honestly is really nice compared to how many restaurants have a ridiculous amount of tvs that are just so loud. My partners family is from nayarit so we didn't know exactly what to expect with food from jalisco, but oh my goodness it was incredible and it wasn't too far off from nayarit style mexican food. The torta de asada had so much flavor and went perfectly with their spicy sauce, and their burritas were perfectly crispy with a delicious side salad. We also got their chocolate shake which is NOT an american milkshake by the way, instead it is a delicious drink that tastes exactly like chocomil you might get from one of the mercados en mexico. Not too sweet, not too much cinnamon, just a delicious drink overall. I absolutely plan on making this a regular spot for myself and I truly truly hope that this business continues to grow and stick around in tracy. read more
