hello, I never liked bambu. But yesterday I decided to try it once again to give it a try. First off I order two drinks, one strawberry fruit tea and another fresh coconut juice. The strawberry fruit tea was more on the creamy side and the photo didn't match what I order. I threw it out after the first sip. Too sweet. I thought it was a tea based but there was some sort of cream in there. Secondly, the fresh coconut juice with coconut meat was expired. I was very upset. I tried to called the location in Lowell, Ma on plain st. The number was out of order. I wasn't sure why. Now I remember why I never liked Bambi. I will NEVER go back. And i will continue to tell my friends and family know what bambu served me. Did not meet my expectations during this visit. Expired coconut meat is a no no. I will be going to the health department just because i am very furious and lost 12$ from expired meat and juice was more of a milk based when I clearly stated tea. I am a desert person and this place satisfied my sweet toooths :) the best desert place ever!! I tried their famous #10 Bambu favorite soo good it's refreshing and not too sweet. Their Summer Delight drink #4 is also yummy when I first tried it's like a party in your mouth. Their bubbles drinks is so refreshing their bobba is just perfect not hard like other places. Bad costumer service, canceled my entire order because of the rude cashier. If you ask to have your items made a little differently this cashier will argue with you that it's just not how they do things and insist that smoothies need ice (which if your using frozen fruit it doesn't). She said the way I'm asking for it to be made would make the smoothie watery, I asked if they put water she said no. She said "however it comes out will be how it is" This indicated to me that she wouldn't try to prepare my item with effort. We went to BAMBU yesterday for the first time ever. Apparently, this brand is a Franchise. The Lowell location had its Grand opening yesterday. I stopped in with my newborn, husband, and two sisters. We had a blast! The wait was a little ridiculous but after going through the menu it all made sense. All ingredients are fresh and beverages are made to order. There are some drinks that are way more involved than others. I'd suggest asking which drinks these are before placing your order if you're in a hurry. My family and I stopped in during grand opening peak hours so that also affected our wait time. This location was previously a Frozen yogurt shop but that fad has faded in and out. This bubble tea shop has a lot going for it and I see longevity here. The Lowell area has an awesome Asian presence and it spoke volumes at the grand opening, there are so many health-conscious options available in their menu, and the coffee is BOMB (I'd compare it to a Starbucks roast)! The surprising menu item that we absolutely fell in love is the PANDAN waffles. Waffles are Crispy on the outside but gooey and warm on the inside. Perfectly rippable and delicious, fork and knife not needed. If you've never had bubble tea before I'd suggest having BAMBU be your first experience. read more

Came here the other day and made two separate orders. I should've checked the receipt and the drinks before I left the store because each order had one Che I didn't purchase. My first order was 2 durian smoothies, one coconut combo, one fruit addict and one summer delight. My second order was one coconut combo, one fruit addict and one BAMBU favorite. I was supposed to have a coconut combo and the other a BAMBU favorite, but For some reason I got two BAMBU combo instead.... I'm not sure how it happened but just a FYI make sure to check your receipt and your order before u leave the store. Other than that the Che was pretty good. This place is amazing! The manager there is sooo nice and lovely to talk with. The wait isn't too bad, it is just a newly open place and people want some quality Che and Teas so it gets a bit packed sometimes, but the staff there work hard to get orders out fast and most importantly tasty! This Vietnamese place was run by Cambodians which gave it a multicultural vibe that enhanced my happiness. The drinks were questionable. One of the drinks was named kiwi strawberry tasted stupendous. The waffle and ice cream was astoundingly pleasant. The macaroons offered a frozen laffy taffy texture but tasted like sugar. It's been a year for Bambu Lowell, and I can definitely see a lot of improvements. My favorite drink is the strawberry or mango fruit tea, and the employees explain what comes in it very clearly. Their pandan waffles are the BEST with the crunchy texture outside and chewy deliciousness hidden inside. They are very good at updating the flavors for their macaroons and mochis, allowing me to choose from a variety of sweets! Their atmosphere is top quality for a dessert shop with great music and entertainment! They're also very active on social media and allows me to see what's new or what's coming in the future!!! Great music, atmosphere, and the drink was delicious. I had always known about BAMBU because I used to frequent Sweet Kiwi (the place it had previously been) but had never set foot inside or had been bothered to give it a try out of laziness. It was my very first time visiting and I walked inside and was instantly refreshed by the alluring vibrant colors of the decor. The cute booth seats along with the white bamboo paintings on the wall accentuate each other pretty nicely. I thought it was extremely creative by hanging white framed portraits of the many different drinks. On the wall, they had a big flat screen TV blasting KPOP music (my favorite) which gave the place a cool hip vibe. If you don't enjoy loud music this might not be the place for you, but I found it riveting. They had a big easy to read digital menu screen so trying to figure out what you're in the mood for is pleasant and straightforward. Their prices are fair and pretty standard when it comes to boba and dessert shops so you won't be breaking the bank unless you're super frugal and scrutinize how you much you spend. Then I would suggest you not come inside at all. I ordered the Coconut Combo from their CHÈ section and was not disappointed. I stupidly thought I had ordered some kind of milk tea which is what I normally get when I go to these type of spots, but I was surprised to find out it was something else. None the less I still enjoyed it as I found it rather inviting. It was my first time trying a CHÈ drink; it was eerily reminiscent of the coconut water I would get at the local Asian supermarkets when I was a kid, but it had all these different toppings, flavors, and textures that complimented the drink rather well. Or in slang terms, "That $!%# was dope AF!" Overall a really satisfying experience compared to Snowdaes which is always packed, noisy, and heightens my claustrophobia like a diabetic's blood pressure skyrocketing after 1 Twinkie.
