Not the cleanest place in town. Been here a couple of times. Didn't have a complaint last time. Be prepared, when they make a mistake on your order, instead of fixing it, they make you get in line again, no matter how long the line is (it's their error !!). This experience is very unfortunate. I went in for a quick midday dessert and I was not greeted for 5mins. And when the person finally came up front from the back they were not friendly at all. The menu stated they had pandan waffles as the "item of the week",I ordered 2 and was quickly told the "machine don't work". I went ahead and ordered my dessert (#10) and once I received it I was highly disappointed. It had no flavor at all. It tasted like water and very bland jellies. Ever since we accidentally found this place because we got lost looking for IKEA I have become a regular here... I will make the drive from Haslet to come here. Amazing selections to choose from, friendly staff and delicious drinks. Remind me of back home (Indonesia) so much when i taste their drinks. Now believe me when i say coming here is so good especially if you want yo cool down from the Texas sun. They have a very very good ice coffee, thai tea and their mix drinks. It's about time that someone brought a place like this to the Grand Prairie/Arlington area. I was driving around the area after returning some items at the Paragon Outlets in GP - it was a crazy busy day there with tons of shoppers, and I decided to have dinner at Bistro B like I normally do when I am in the area. After a delicious dinner of king size meatball and rare steak pho, I wanted something sweet to offset the salty broth. Now, I heard it through the grapevine that a Bambu opened in the same shopping center and I headed over to the new Bambu. It is a nicely decorated dessert place and it even had some TVs with Vietnamese music and shows playing in the background. After carefully considering my options, I decided to try the #6 - Chè trái cây, which is lychee, longan, red tapioca, jackfruit, palm seed, pandan jelly, jello, young coconut. I chose this since it sounded most similar to the halo halo I am used to. It was a very delicious dessert. All the different types of fruit brought back childhood memories of me eating halo halo on a warm summer day. I liked it enough that I ordered a taro milk tea with boba for my wife. I absolutely love the modern décor, they have sooo many drinks to choose from. service is kind of slow they only have 2 people working on a busy sunday around 1pm. There was about 10 drink orders in front of me and took about 45 mins for my drink to come out, Taking 2 stars for that because that's way too long to be waiting for 1 drink. I tried this place 3 times because of all the hype. The drinks and dessert weren't bad, but it just wasn't great. ESPECIALLY for the wait for just 1-2 drinks. We waited over 10 minutes for the drinks and that alone makes me never want to come back. The milk tea drink was very bitter and not appealing at all. I tried a mango milk tea, and the mango part was fine but the milk tea was so bitter, I threw my drink away after 1 sip. Then I tried the vietnamese dessert (Che) and again.,.it was average. I absolutely LOVE this place! They make the best boba drinks I've ever had. The lychee boba is exactly how anyone would want it to be and it's my go to drink. It's so good that I can't bring myself to order a different drink to try...which is why I try the drinks of those that accompany me tehe. Well I recently gave another flavor a try due to my sister. The mango boba tastes like I'm eating mango puree and it was so good. Not too thick, not too liquid-ie. It could have used more boba pearls but all and all, very good. The staff members are pretty quick with getting your order to you. If you wait more than 5 minutes I would be shocked, so if you're pressed for time this will always be a good quick choice. It's also a decent price for boba drinks, many priced around $5. I know many people like their jellies and other specialty drinks that you would spoon (as opposed to sip) but I've never tried any. Some look interesting, but if you don't like jelly (such as myself) I'd stay away from it. This location DOES ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS. I have been to the location in Houston which only takes cash, so just a heads up! It would be a small tragedy in the foodie world to arrive and not be able to get a hold of the deliciousness that is housed in this cafe.... and it would just be an inconvenience to find an atm and come back haha I'm try to avoid as much hassle as possible. This is the best Vietnamese dessert place in the Arlington/Grand Prairie area. They have a variety of che and boba drinks. If you're not familiar with any of desserts, they even have picture of each of the desserts. I highly recommend the #6 - Che Trai Cay. It has an assortment of fruits from coconuts, lychee, jackfruit and jelly. It's my favorite! This restaurant itself is pretty small. There are limited seats. Two of the che desserts were bland and lacking in it's typical sweetness levels. Pennywort mung bean and hazelnut mocha coffee were watered down. I love the Bambu special #1. I've randomly tried other speciality drinks, coffees and drink blends, but always go back to that #1. At the front desk contains containers of drinks and sweets, but I never see other people in the store order them or change. Specifically the French macaroons! I am always tempted to try them, but never know how long they have been sitting there. The staff are friendly. Atmosphere is definitely geared towards college students, but very clean!
