Dropped by for a quick boba run. I got the medium grapefruit green tea with pearls (30% sweet, regular ice). My friend got the same one in the yogurt dream formulation. Our drinks came out delicious and not too sweet. The boba was nice and chewy. Service was very fast and we got our drinks right away. Will be back to try other drinks!

I came for the XL & they don't have it available. . Promo was not available both days:(

Customer service was not friendly, from the cashier. He acted like he did not want to speak or look at me. Seemed like nobody was in uniform and had zero training about the menu when I asked a question. Ambiance was calm.

Come try it out GP! Well worth it! You even have the option to select not only the size of cup you want but also how much ice and how much sugar!

Cute place in Chinese Times Square. We were the only people in there and split a milk tea for roughly $8. Per usual, overpriced milk tea but it's comparable to the prices for all the other places I've gone. Milk tea was made Super fast, like 60-second turnaround. Friendly enough staff and you can customize sugar levels here too.

Need to send this review in so the team will be more careful with the preparation process. Bought two drinks, creme brule brown sugar milk tea, and taro milk tea for my little siblings. They came to me finding a metal shard in their drinks. This is dangerous, please be careful and do more quality audit often. Good drinks, good taste, too quick of service

Some of the best milk teas in the area and I love just coming here to chill. I sit outside and people watch while drinking my tea. I recommend the entire menu to try and it's a must. You won't regret it

This Gong Cha location is always on point and speedy. Besides the amazing customer service, the drinks are are delicious. There is a lot of variety within the menu, and allows for customization. This place asks for the sugar adjustment for your drink which should be the standard! Will come again !

Make it your own! So awesome!

My favorite of all time drink is the dirty brown sugar milk tea with boba and oreo, less ice, 50% sweet, size large! A must try.

Many boba places make their version of a dirty brown sugar tea but nobody makes it as good as Gong Cha. I'm literally addicted. I go to Gong Cha more than I would like to admit . When you sign up for their reward system they actually give out good coupons and rewards. They don't get super busy to the point that you have to wait on your drink. The tuen around time from ordering and receiving your drink is fairly quick. Love the aesthetic of the place and the Asian Time Square location allows for you to grab your drink and shop around.

Ordered the boba taro milk tea and in reality they just gave me the water with tea mix tapioca balls. It was terrible and had no flavor. When I specially asked the cashier while ordering if the milk tea came with a milk base he nodded his head and told me "yes", so he turned around and saw that the girl put water into the mixer, while I sensed that he was going to say something, he actually didn't. I just took my loss, paid for it and left. The tea didn't taste like anything but water honestly and I won't be going back. Been all over the country and even in Taiwan where I have tried boba tea and this was actually the worst of them all. Trust me when I tel you

    $6 and tasteless.

I've been to this location soo many times since they first opened and this was the first time ever that I was disappointed. I came in for the matcha latte with creme brulee milk foam and they did not have the creme brulee milk foam or any other flavored milk foams, only the regular one. Cool, I ordered the Medium and it came out to almost $6 and it was the worst drink I've ever had. The drink had such heavy powdery taste with slimy texture if I stirred it up. I waited for the matcha powder to sink to the bottom of the cup and the drink was tasteless. $6 for an "undrinkable" drink, I learned my lesson. Never again!

My first experience was not the best... I stopped in with my friend to grab a drink and catch up, but the place was unbearable. The HVAC seemed to not be working. The windows were fogged up along with a very strong cleaning product scent. Stuff like that makes you wonder about the management. However, the staff was nice and I was beyond surprised that they were still smiling through the circumstances. They offered to help us decide on a drink and gave options of ice and sweetness levels. We did not wait long at all for the drinks. I had the earl grey milk tea with the jelly, boba, and pudding, no complaints here. All in all, the drinks were good and priced in the middle in comparison to other boba spots.

Other than this new concern, I personally find this place a "comfort spot". Not high quality Asian food but the best "B grade" Asian food there is in Arlington. I enjoy the portions, the taste but most importantly, their drinks!! I especially love ordering their Oreo Shake (even better than other boba tea places) and their Strawberry Milk Tea. Service is always spectacular. They are fast and friendly! I've also ordered online before and the food is always hot and ready by the time I arrive there. If you have kids, they will enjoy the arcade connected to the restaurant. Seriously though...the change in fries makes me sad. If I come back, it will be for the drinks.

I wouldn't say this is the best food I've ever had but I enjoy it as it brings me back to my college days when they used to have a location near UT Dallas years ago. I deducted a star as the restaurant itself had a chemical smell in the dining area, otherwise I recommend getting it to go and enjoying it at home. Parking here should be fairly easy, there is a parking lot in front of it but be careful not to park in front of the business in front of it. This is located down the street from UT Arlington.

Review #8 out of 26 lets go!!…read more I went to this specific location for their lunch special. I had zero degree back prior to covid but that was before they started offering 'real food'. I was excited to come back and try them out. I went and asked the cashier what was the lunch special, she said I could choose any of their combos for $10! I was excited to see they had birria tacos and decided to get that for my lunch special. It came with two sides and a drink, for the drink she said I could get any of their teas, so I got their ubbe horchata. On my side I went with french fries with the regular seasoning and since I was already there, I decided to order a side of kimchi fries. Honestly, i am glad I ordered those Korean fries because they ended up being my favorite thing from this visit. The birria tacos were so sad; the tortilla was semi-warm, the meat could have used more flavor, and they just added a bunch of cilantro and green onions. It came with a side of consume and that was all water! It was so sad because usually the consume is made from the meat when its cooking and used as a dipping sauce. I swear I only got like 10 french fries in my order,r and after I got my order, I realized she never asked me what my second side was, and I put two and two together and figured they were counting the consume of the tacos as a side. WHAT A RIP-OFF! The real star of the show was the side of Korean fries I got. They were $8, but you get a lot of fries with that. It came with a fried egg on top, it had kimchi, it was topped with yum yum sauce or some kind of spicy mayonnaise. It was tossed in some kind of seasoning and I loved all of it. As I said, this was the real star of the show when I ordered because the birria tacos were a joke. , For my drink, I had the Ube Horchata, and it was good, nothing amazing, just good. The restaurant was pretty much empty when I went, and it was clean, with plenty of space to sit down and enjoy your 10 fries from your box combo. Overall, I would say, buyer beware, because they sure like to skimp on that lunch special. I won't be going out of my way to come to this location or any other zero degree because is not worth it.

While the customer service is adequate, the prices are affordable, and the space is bright and clean, so what's the issue? The food. There's no doubt the places is quite authentic and has the old-school charm of an establishment that's been around forever, despite only opening a little more than a decade ago. Seating options are limited as the setup is meant for in an out action. It doesn't stop locals from coming in, especially since the parking lot is almost never full. (#1) Like many Vietnamese bakeries, they offer numerous pastries and desserts, along with cold drinks, and ready-made items for takeout. Despite the banh mi bread being freshly baked, the banh mi seems overly average. Their thit nuong isn't all that sweet and the spread is limited. I've had mildly better results with their dac biet, but the paté is lacking, the pickled veg is abundant, but the meat cuts are slim. Smart people know not to shoot for any milk tea or boba, but instead shoot for nuoc mia (sugar cane juice) or a caphe sua da (Vietnamese iced coffee). The former is heavily powder based, which is expected since this is not a dedicated boba spot. Service will also vary and to no one's surprise, speaking Vietnamese will go a long way. I wouldn't rule out a feature return, but I have a feeling the next time I'll stick to drinks only. ___________ (#1) With the exception of big events.
