I found this location while looking for nearby boba places, and it had the highest rating of all the ones nearby, so I decided to go. The tea itself isn't the best I've ever had; I've had better tea elsewhere, but the boba was really nice. Because I've been to places where the tea is excellent but the boba is subpar. Another thing I noticed was that they add an excessive quantity of ice in your drink, therefore I strongly advise anyone to ask for light ice, because if you don't, your ice would probably fill up around 1/3 of your cup. Nevertheless, it wasn't the best boba tea, but it wasn't the worst, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quick drink. Anyhow it was the interior that I really liked about this establishment; it had such a fantastic aesthetic, with spaces to shoot photos and activities to play with other people. So, if you're looking for a place to hang out and take some cool shots with boba, this is the place to go. The you're my cup of tea sign was one of my favorites; it's cheesy, but that's what makes it appealing. Another cool feature was their drawing board; there were some amusing meme drawings on there, which I think just helps to lighten the atmosphere and allow people to have a better time considering that we were in the midst of a pandemic that prevented people from engaging in social activities. My new favorite boba place!! After seeing so many reviews quickly being posted just during their soft opening, I was a bit skeptical so decided to wait couple weeks for the hype to die down. That was a mistake lol. I should have gone during soft opening for their BOGO50% off. So far I have tried the signature milk tea, Hokkaido oolong milk tea, hazelnuts milk tea, and the kumquat lemonade ice tea. Can't complain about any of them. All have really good flavor. I pretty much only go for milk tea or blended drinks at any boba place, but took a sip from my other half's kumquat lemonade and was so surprised at how good the flavor was. It tasted just like fresh kumquat. You can request the ice level on all of their drinks, and sweetness level on most. For those with "FS" next to it on the menu, which means "Fixed sugar", they don't add any additional sugar. It's already sweet as is. I was a bit disappointed to know that, but gave it a try anyway and glad that they're not overly sweet. Just a bit sweeter than I'd prefer but still good. They also offer many toppings. Some are very unique and hard to find anywhere else. Besides 1102, Ding Tea is the only other place I know that offer the crystal boba which made out of agar. They don't become harder or change texture if refrigerated or sit in the cup too long. Definitely my prefer topping now over regular boba. The place is super cute even tho it's small and can get very packed. It's also closer to home so I'll definitely come more often. read more

There is now a point system in place, if you'd like to enroll with your phone number. Each dollar spent is 1 point, and after 50 points (about 10 drinks), you get a free tea! 2. The signs have been updated to showcase their popular drinks (Kumquat Lemon Iced Tea, Taro Milk Tea, Thai Tea, Signature Milk Tea, and a few others). 3. I still asked for less ice, just in case, but I glanced around at the cups of others, and they looked filled with a reasonable amount of ice. What really boosts this review to 5 stars was the effort the owner made to reach out to me both online and in person. Def my favorite boba chain (that has locations in Texas!). I tried my usual drink, oolong milk tea with golden boba and was persuaded to do 75% sweetness rather than 25% which I normally ask for, and it was indeed perfect! Though the ice level seemed a bit excessive even after requesting for less ice. I also tried bf's monster boba, which has neither tea or coffee. Highly rec if you like sweet caramel candy as this is exactly what it tasted like! A tad too sweet for my liking but enjoyed the few sips I sampled. Definitely hope to return to try the other signature drinks! This entire place is like an insta photo op! Tables are small, board games are also available. Interesting location in Arlington. Kinda out of the way for me compared to the many other boba places around. However, you should come check it out because the store decor is super cute! I had the popular Monster Bobo Latte. If you like caramel, you'll love this. It is super sweet and rich. This was a calorie splurge for sure. I didn't like the honey boba as much as I expected to. Love that you can customize the level of ice and sweetness to the drinks! This place is definitely a family favorite in our household and there's yet to be a drink we've tried that we don't like. I'll echo some other Yelpers to say that their monster boba latte is absolutely what people come for -- definitely similar to Tiger Sugar's boba tea (aka brown/black sugar boba). I would strongly recommend ordering the drink at 50% sweet since it is on the sugary side! Why am I knocking off a star? I thought i'd beat the weekend rush by ordering ahead, except those who ordered in, were being serviced a lot quicker than me. I have been here a few times and each times service were horrible. I visited several times before adding this review but since service was bad each time, I had to share my experience. First visit, they were out of boba and they didn't get my order right, basically got 90% ice and got a sip of my tea. Next visit, I specifically asked for light ice and the girl making my drink didn't even look at my order. She was transferring it to a cup to seal and the cashier told her I wanted light ice. The girl just shrugged her shoulders and with a smirk told the cashier just give me the drink. Mind you, I was the only customer at the time. I won't be coming back for sure. Clean store with very cute decor. Friendly service were your immediately greeted with a smile. They answer all your questions and give recommendations accordingly. Me, I don't like overly sweet, so certain teas they would recommend and then others they would recommend I adjust the sweetness. And after I tasted it made sure I liked it. The seasonal Guava was my favorite but Top fruit tea was a close second. The Thai Tea is also good and 1/2 sweet is still plenty sweet. And the boba has a great consistency. read more

Our first visit here and I would come back to try the Strawberry Black Tea. As you can see in the picture that I did order it BUT since I had to hold so many drinks !!! Ding Tea offers pretty authentic traditional Taiwanese boba, which being Taiwanese, I absolutely love. From milk teas to fruit teas and yakult teas to smoothies, they have a wide variety of drinks and toppings to choose from! The decor inside is also so, so cute- lots of places to take pictures! I went with my go-to drink which is Oolong Milk Tea with little ice and 30% sugar. I'm usually not a person that likes toppings in my drinks, but they had Golden Boba and the cashier said it was their most popular, so I decided to try it out. I went on a Saturday afternoon and it was decently crowded. I was surprised at how fast the drink came out! As soon as I sat down, they called my number! I also really enjoyed the drink- the tea taste was strong and the sugar level was perfect! I also surprisingly really loved the Golden Boba- it's softer than regular boba and I think it has a better flavor to it too. Arlington's a long way out from me, so I hope that they open one near me, but I definitely recommend this place for some authentic Taiwanese boba! read more

I was super excited for this place! I heard about it in California so I had to try it! Can I say that this place is super CUTE! IG worthy backgrounds and fun games to play while you sit and sip. Parking is super easy, they are established right by Bowie high school, my alma mater. And right by one of the best pizza places is arlington, Brooklyn's best. I believe this place will revive the area since Albertsons left and blockbuster made it a ghost complex.
