Went through the drive thru today, and the employee was very kind. My loud diesel truck makes it hard to hear me, but she was great. I learned that you can get butter pecan flavor in the gladiator chocolate coffee... which is yummy. I will try that next time. Also, I love that they have espresso for their smoothies. I pulled up to the drive-thru ready to order, and after saying "hello" multiple times with no response, I drove to the window. I saw three employees inside who all had headsets on clearly noticed me, yet not one of them acknowledged me. I waited several more minutes and still nothing, which forced me to get out and go inside. This is completely unacceptable. Absolutely terrible experience at this Smoothie King! I called in advance about 15 minutes before closing to order because I knew I would be there about 2 minutes before closing time and they took my order and told me it would be ready for me as soon as I got there. When I arrived on time they acted oblivious like I didn't call and they said they were closed and I looked behind the counter and they had nothing made essentially ignoring my entire call. Horrible customer service! Waited by the register for a good 3-4 minutes. I was very patient trying to place my order. The lady in the front just kept getting drive thru orders as if I wasn't right in front of her. Then she asked one of the workers "what is she waiting for" like if I didn't speak English, instead of asking me if i had been helped. I got upset and I responded I haven't ordered yet. It's a smoothie kind of day. First time at this location and it's been a good minute since I was last at a Smoothie King. It's been so long that the app had changed and I had to reinstall it on my phone before I went. Got lucky and there was no wait right around 2pm on a Monday! Super nice folks, they answered my questions and even made sure my coupon in the app was showing up when I checked out. I specifically asked for the Keto smoothie I saw on the website, and it was only after I was waiting for my order that I saw the chalkboard announcement that the Keto smoothie was starting TOMORROW oops. About 2 months ago I went to this location and I had a bad experience. I told the worker I was going to YELP her, I didn't. I always give a second chance and sometimes a third. After my experience I went back about 1 week later, she remembered me and said " I was determined to get your order right next the time I heard your voice. Every since then my stop at Smoothie King is one of the highlights of my day. I visited the Smoothie King on Arkansas Ln & 161 this afternoon as I do everyday. Today however was a different experience for me because it affected my health. I ordered a STRAWBERRY peanut power plus as I do everyday. I am allergic to cocoa so having a chocolate smoothie would have put an end to a very pleasant day. Upon receiving my smoothie it was darker than usual so I asked the young lady who handed me my smoothie if it was a chocolate peanut power plus and was ASSURED it was NOT. I drove home and was about to drink my smoothie when something told me to look at my receipt which clearly stated chocolate peanut power plus. I called the store immediately and spoke with the kindest young lady name Rose. Can you say impeccable customer service? This young woman was incredible. She apologized and I could genuinely feel her concern through the phone. She asked me to return to the store and ask for her because she would make it right. Amazing!!! I am shocked to see other reviews. I am a raving fan. The owner was very pleasant and the employees have been equally helpful. I love the drive through and I am excited to have a Smoothie King in our area! Love the $5 Fridays!! Be sure to stop by, sometimes the reviews are not accurate. I usually leave reviews for bad experiences but when I saw the ones posted and mine was the complete opposite I know there is potential. Ive visited at least a hand full of times. I come to this location because it is close to my job. But this is 4 times in a row they have messed up. 1- wrong drink and wrong cup. 2- correct drink correct cup but the charge was over $30.00 for a 32 oz order. When I asked why she looked puzzled. I had to ask her to re-check my order. She asked me what I ordered. My cost was a little over $11. 3-wrong size. Today tried to use a coupon and was told I couldn't because of free enhancer. I asked if I could use my $2 off on my app. She said yes. She scanned my phone and said it won't scan. She said it didn't work for the 2 people in front of you. I asked can you manually take it off since you can see I have multiple discounts. She said I guess I can with attitude. She said the computer is messing up and it's not letting me. Ugh! This location employees do not know customer service and/or know how to work the register. They also don't hear well since the orders are not correct and 1 drink costing over $30. I really hate there is not another store near me. I will order my drink from another location the night before and put in the freezer for me to take to work the next day. I was so excited to have a smoothie king down the street from my house. I didnt mind driving to matlock but down the st is better. Sad to say i have not had a positive experience yet. They are beyond slow!!! Beyond!!!! I literally could leave my car in the drive thru, walk to walmart go shoppong come back and still be in the same spot. It doesnt matter if you're the only one in the drive thru or if theres 2 of you and 1 person in the store. They take 10 to 12 mins minimum to get your order to u. Idk wtf they be doing. Ive tried to but i cant. Even with a rush at matlock or cooper they move quicker. Maybe its the machines. Its like they can use all the dag on machines to produce 3 orders. Ive started driving back 17 mins to matlock for better quicker service. Even when you wait long they dont even acknowledge the long wait. Total disrespect. Yall need better training or shut down. But management need to get on yall asses about running a production line. read more
