I love the vibe in here. It is a cute little spot with ample parking and the line moves fast. I ordered the Taro Lover and it was the perfect amount of sweet. I love that you mix the ice in. I do wish it was possible to customize the drinks for an extra fee. They have a drink that has a scoop of Ube ice cream on top and when I asked if it was possible to add ube ice cream to the Taro Lover I was told a quick "no." Whenever I order from here, I know that every time I do, it will be made fresh with the yummy ingredients, and I've never been disappointed! I've been to all the other Bambu locations, and they are certainly not the same, sadly! I have a few favorites from here. We always call to order coconut waffles. It's never a problem. Last Saturday we tried to call in to order two waffles. The lady said we would need to come in and order. We get there and they tell us they only had enough batter for ONE waffle. And THIS is why we called it in!!! We said fine to ONE waffle and then tried to order the ube che drink. My daughter wanted it without the red beans. The lady said she could order the mango Che drink since it didn't come with red beans. We've ordered the ube drink without red beans before. The customer service is always great, as the person behind the counter is always friendly and polite in our experience. My favorite is #1 it has Logan, pandan jelly, Coconut meat, basil seed, and coconut water with a scoop of ice. Now I took off 1 star because there wasn't a lot of coconut meat. Maybe like 3 pieces but I had this at other locations and they were mor generous with the toppings. The pandan jelly was super soft and chewy soooo good! The Logan I can tell it wasn't fresh but from a can. It wasn't the worst but not the best. You can adjust the sweetness level I wish I got it to 50% Instead of 75%. But I like that they had that option. You can check in on their rewards program to redeem for free items after a certain amount of points. There is a private lot and it's free. So good! This place has Vietnamese che drinks, teas, smoothies, and waffles! My personal favorites for their che dessert drinks are the fruit addict and Bambu favorite. The fruit addict reminds of me of che thai, and I love the red tapioca and pandan jelly in the Bambu favorite! The portions are big and pretty filling, so I usually end up splitting one with my fiance. The desserts we've tried have been great, but the waffles are PHENOMENAL! I can't speak for all the locations, but we've been to this specific location several times for the waffles because we love how they make them here. The waffles are always made to order, so there can be a short wait for them, but the wait is so worth it! The pandan waffle is so fragrant, and their durian waffle is their regular pandan waffle with fresh durian mixed into the batter!!! The texture of these waffles aren't your run-of-the mill waffles either; I'm assuming they put some type of mochi mix or something similar in it, because the texture is similar to the Vietnamese dessert banh bo nuong (honeycomb cake). The waffles are filling and dense (in a good way!) and taste amazing! Went here 45 minutes before closing. Ordered a Bambu special and an Awesome Trio, plus 2 macarons.. it took over 30 minutes for 2 desserts... just scooping fruits and jellies into a cup. And when the drinks were ready, I told them I never received my macarons. They asked for a receipt.. when they didn't give any of the customers receipts. It also happened to another customer before me. Ridiculous service.. I do like the desserts and drinks but definitely will be staying away from this location. How are you going to demand a receipt you never gave me. Need more serious and mature employees. read more

We used to frequent the San Diego location before they closed down, this location is just as good if not better. We tried three drinks (fruit addict, smashed avocado, longan sunrise). Parking was plentiful and we had no issues getting a spot right in front. There were a few people sitting at tables when we arrived on a Sunday around 4 pm (everyone already had their drinks). There was no line so we walked right to the front and ordered. Drinks came out quickly, we waited approximately 5-8 mins or so for all three drinks. The price is decent, large portions and everything we ordered tasted delicious and refreshing. Not too sweet! I prefer this over Starbucks or boba any day and would definitely recommend it if you're looking for something to cool you down or a (sorta) healthy dessert. I discovered this place first through DoorDash in late June. I had just been recovering from Covid at that time and when I saw they had Acai bowls I wanted to try. Best decision I ever made. For about a month I would order Acai bowls everyday as it was the only nourishment my body could easily digest. The portions are really generous and what I really like is that their Acai purée is really good and truly pure. Other places I've tried have disappointed with watery diluted Acai. Not this place. Since then I've been trying their authentic Vietnamese Che and they're all excellent. I usually order the Bambu Special Che with my bowls. You can't go wrong with either Acai or Dragonfruit bowls each. I usually order mine as half Acai and half Dragonfruit with peanut butter. The owners of this franchise are really nice! I saw this place while searching for a different tea shop and was pleasantly surprised by the selection, and the quality was pretty good too. It's situated in a strip mall of storefronts that could use an upgrade. Ordered the Bambu favorite with grass jellies, tapioca pearls and coconut milk. Crushed ice on the top is a nice touch to delay the dilution of the drink. Flavorful and refreshing.
