Nice man who took our order. Easy parking in lot. Nice big menu on wall with photos of drinks. I ordered the Bambu Favorite. It was delicious. Cute clean space to sit and enjoy.

I tried this place for the first time recently and overall had a good experience. They have a fun menu with lots of drinks and desserts that are both yummy and interesting. Everything smells amazing when you walk in, and there are so many tempting options to choose from. The drinks were really good, and the açaí bowls, were fresh and tasty. The halo halo was absolutely scrumptious and definitely a highlight for me. The service was just okay. It wasnt bad, but it could be a bit warmer. A more welcoming vibe when greeting customers would really elevate the experience. That said, I am looking forward to going back and trying more items on the menu. The food and drinks alone make it worth another visit.

My husband and I got the Bambu Special less ice and 75% sweet and Strawberry Yogurt Smoothie. The Bambu Special is usually my go to. It's so refreshing on a hot day! It is coconut juice with toppings. In the future, I would get 50% sweet or less because it was still very sweet. The Strawberry Yogurt Smoothie is basically Vietnamese yogurt with strawberry blended together! The worker was attentive and friendly!

Bambu knows how to make these dessert drinks. I get extra shaved ice because I like to stretch out my drinks. Plenty of seating and parking. However, some characters that loiter around could be a bit annoying and/or scary so location could be an issue here. I usually get the Bambu Favorite so I can have the chewy goodness of all the ingredients. I also like their Thai iced tea. Service is quick and easy. Seating inside, very cozy hanging out.

1. The drinks were refreshing and not sweet! I really like the density of the mango smoothie! 2. The spot has fun casual vibes! It has a high ceiling! 3. There were many indoor tables! One of my favorites place for desserts! They have a variety of concoctions for smoothies, Chè, fruits mixed with boba and milk tea drinks. The mashed avocado with durian is da bomb! Avocado mixed with all sorts of bobas and a scoop of durian into the mixture. Served with shaved ice and condensed milk! The Chè ba mâu(Tri color) is quite good as well. Not overly sweet and just enough hint of coconut milk within the mixture. Order at the counter and they will call when ready! Cute little place to sit and enjoy your dessert drinks!

I was craving some Pandan waffles with coconut inside of them. I decided to come here since this was the first place that came into my mind. I walked in here, and ordered what I wanted. Didn't take too long. Went back home, and did the dishes and laundry. They did it in a short period of time. They also informed another customer that the macarons were just out of the freezer so it's soft as long as you don't expose them to higher temperatures. The canvas pictures of the meals are genius, especially people who are visual learners and don't understand Vietnamese. The image is even enhanced for people to understand what the contents in their drinks are. They're labeled really good.

Used to go to Bambu in Irvine until it closed down. Stumbled on this place while in Garden Grove. Located across the Regal Movie Theater. Looks like a hole in a wall from outside but is actually quite nice and spacious inside. Decor modern/trendy with lots of comfy bench seating. Ordered my go-to #1 Special with Lychee instead of Longan. About $10 for a Large. Tasted just like I remembered. Sweet, refreshing, lots of soft green jelly, coconut, lychee, basil seeds, coconut water, shaved ice. They have a kiosk for orders as well but no option to sub items. No complaints.

my friends and i were craving bambu and decided to come to this location instead of the one in westminster. the aesthetic of this location is extremely cute and clean. upon entering, we noticed that there was only one worker doing both front and back of the house duties. i ordered the awesome trio while my friend ordered #10. we waited around 5-10 minutes before receiving our order, which is pretty fast for a one man team. the dessert was delicious & i would definitely come back!

Walking into the place, the decorations are warm and bright. Beautiful decor of city and nature settings. Plenty of seating with bright colored booth seats. They have so many photos of the menu items that lists ingredients to help make a decision. We ordered #2 (Bambu Combo) and #10 (Bambu Favorite). The decision I tried to make was to avoid coconut meat since I'm not into coconut (but the milk is good though). You order at the kiosk and staff is friendly, we asked if they serve just the ice cream itself (since I saw mango and ube flavored ice cream) but they directed us to packaged ice cream in the freezer at the front. We ordered and got a number, sat down to wait, and once we got our order we decided to take it to go and explore a nearby Asian supermarket! The drinks were delicious, I very much preferred the Bambu favorite but both were great. Usually, after mixing everything, I would eat it with a spoon. But instead I waited for the ice to melt and used a boba straw to drink everything.

I love Bambu and try to search for a location whenever I travel. Recently ventured down South for work and found this place. The decor is so pretty, plenty of seating and parking. I ordered my usual favorite, 3 color drink. It was delicious.

SO SO good especially at times when you want a dessert drink but not boba. Their #1- bambu special- OG #5- Smashed avocado with boba, rainbow/coffee jelly is SO filling but so good. Creamy, chewy boba balls, and the jelly makes a nice party in my mouth. #10- Bambu special- all the delicious types of chewy textures all in one cup! Durian Pandan waffles - Their waffles are chewy crisp like mochi! Not bready. Definitely recommend. Save the leftovers and pop it in the toaster. So good. There was a lot of Bambu locations all over Socal which have all closed especially in LA county which is so sad so hope this location stays open for long time so i can fufill my Bambu cravings. read more

The "auntie" that served me was so nice! I had ordered the original Bambu drink with a pandan waffle. As I was waiting, she assured me several times that the items were coming shortly. when I had received the items, she told me to sip my drink to verify it was sweet enough, if not, she was going to make it sweeter for me. She wanted to know how I wanted my waffle to ensure she would make it to my preference. If this is not five star we service, I don't know what is, they really do try their best to cater to your taste if they're not overwhelmed with customers. Decor inside is absolutely adorable and pleasing to the eyes. I really couldn't stop staring at the walls while I was in the area. Although it may be a short experience - since I was in-and-out- but it was definitely memorable. Come by for a refreshing drink! Sorry for not posting the photo of the waffle, I ate it. Decided to try the nearest boba after attending a wedding nearby. Stumbled across this place on yelp. Didn't have too many reviews so went and and tried it. Place had many choices and items on the menu. Ordered the pandan waffle and almond MT. To my surprise the waffle was extremely tasty. Love how it was made fresh. Super crunchy and chewy at the same time. Great fragrance. Not overpowering sweet. Almond MT was so so. I prob should of tried one of their dessert smoothies/shaved ice instead. Will definitely come back. Highly recommend anyone that like the pandan waffle. read more

Bambu is a newbie in this plaza off Chapman Ave. I have tried their other location and this spot is so much better. The parking is not crowded which is a plus. I really like the interior decor of this store. It's very modern and clean. There is a huge painted mural of the Paris city scene. When you walk in, it feels like your traveling to another European city. There are plenty of tables and booth seeting. In addition to lounge chairs. We were greeted warmly by the store owner. The menu consists of many dessert options, boba drinks and smoothies. We ordered some chè (Vietnamese desserts). The dessert selection: Awesome trio, smashed avocado and Fruit addict. My fave is the bo dam (smashed avocado). The chè is light and not too sweet. The toppings are fresh. I'm glad they opened outside the Bolsa area so it's not crazy busy. They are part of the 5-star rewards so earn your freebies. I will come back more often post chilly season. read more

Amazing service and drinks! Today I stopped by and ordered 5 total things. Two Che's, #1 and #2, 2 Black Milk Teas, and 1 Thai Milk Tea. I had the Bambu Combo Che #2 and it was delicious. Everything we ordered looked very appetizing and it was super quick to come out. The people helping us were also super nice. I totally recommend this place and checking out their huge drink and dessert menu! I forgot to take good pictures because I ate the Che so fast, lol. read more

I always get one yogurt drink at the other location. Since I live closer to this one, it is easier for me to drive here. I got the drink here many times here too. They could make the drink by combining fruits from the other drink, but this new girl just decided to say it is sold out all three times I asked. read more

This place is absolutely amazing! Healthy and tasty now that's a win win. I have to be completely honest with you when I think about healthy/good for you I usually equate that to (yuck). I am so happy that I found something so delicious and nutritious that's so out of this world good it feels it should be bad for you now that's saying something. I ordered the peach fruit and basil seed and was hooked at first sip. I also tried the salted caramel with boba and instantly found another favorite. The store is nicely decorated and the adorable old Asian couple that run the place are absolutely the best hands down. I will definitely be coming back time and time again. I became a regular here ever since my friends recommended this place. I tried their pandan waffle for the first time made by the owner who doesn't seem to be friendly and I got hooked! It was crispy on the outside and chewy inside. A few days later, I was craving for more waffle so I didn't have time to come in to wait for them to make it because they always make it fresh. I call in to put the order and obviously I can tell the lady on the phone was the owner and she told me it will be 10-15 mins. I arrived 15 min later and the owner ask what I need and I told her about my order and surely enough they never even made jt!!!! They told me to wait 5 mins and there was a young little girl making it and I had to wait 10 mins!!! The owner lied and every time we go here she never seems happy! My waffle was so thick and mushy and nothing what I had before look at the photo! Not coming back read more

My sister and I went here last night, totally blown away by how amazing this place is. The ambiance is warm, cozy, and relaxing. They have nice music playing when you come in. The service was a 10/10! Everyone that worked there was so sweet. They were patient while we looked over the menu too. The drinks were delicious! I just ordered the "Che Ba Mau" (number 2) without ice here and the young lady so much attitude with me even im asking her with a nice tone of voice!? im not going home for couple hours so i worry about the coconut cream they put inside the cup will stale the whole thing,i ask her can they put the cream separate and she answered with a cool face like doesn't care: "we cant do it!" - Yess! YOU CAN!!! i saw the cream is on the top of topping which mean you pour the cream after not mix already with dessert! And another store can do it,dont tell me you cannot! you just lazy to do it.. low quality customer service like the personality you have! read more

We arrived at 9:30pm .. 30 minutes before they closed on a Monday night. To our pleasant surprise, we were welcomed by relaxing, acoustic music & a Paris cafe style decor mixed in with pops of red! In order to order, you press the white button by the register & a friendly staff member will help promptly. My boyfriend and I are so impressed by this Bambu location for its quick, friendly service, clean, comfortable ambiance & their quality of their desserts have exceeded the quality of the other Bambu restaurants we have tried!! I'm not sure if this place just puts extra love in it or what?! Regardless, this Bambu does not disappoint We ordered: - Bambu Special 1 -- extremely refreshing! They have bomb jackfruit smoothies and che. I like the number one with the pandan jelly and basil seeds with coconut water. The place has seating spots for you to chill with your drink. Depending on how busy they are - it may take awhile for your drinks to be ready just because theres only like one person making the drinks. I love how they decorated the interior with cafe tables and street lights - very parisian and chic. There are always walk through videos playing in the background - sometimes in vietnam, hong kong or other countries. They are closed wednesdays and you can call ahead of time to order which is nice read more

Stopped by grand opening week. Briefly met the owner, she was nice and accommodating for my drink order. I didn't want an item that was in my drink, but I didn't know what it was so I tried my best to describe it to her and she understood. I hope they do well at this location. Good Luck! read more

I wish they opened a Bambu around my area. There use to be one in Panorama city which has since closed but whenever we are at Disneyland this is a must stop for my family. We love the bambu favorite that is our go to drink. Please open up another location around the San Fernando valley!!! read more

Today experienced is total waste of time with this young guy with a glasses that looks at you saying to get lost as he won't even acknowledge you with some light pleasing smile mind you I drove all the way from Corona and been coming here for a while with the same encounter to this guy so now I was able to get a free regular drink as my rewards and order my usual Bambu special, came back to tell him it isn't sweet and taste different from what I had so theres the look again saying so you want more sugar? Pff I would have pay my drinks then!! Poor customer service! read more

This place has terrible customer service and the quality of their food has gone down so much over the years. The açaí bowls taste so much more bland and the texture is so icy now. Their drinks are so watered down and paying $8 for some milk and water has to be illegal. The young guy with the glasses is the rudest food service worker I've ever interacted with. They prioritize arguing with their customers instead of trying to fix the issue. read more

I don't know why but They should train the young cashier guy better because he never says "thank you" to the customers. I ordered one smashed avocado (my favorite) and I also give a tip for that, but I just received a cold service. Next time, if it's still happening to me, I will stop supporting this branch. You know that you are living in America and you should learn how to say "thank you" to your customers; "thank you" is hard to say? read more

I don't like the way the shop owner works and the consciousness of the shop owner here. Maybe because today I only bought 1 wiffer cake so they looked down on me, I called to order in advance, when I arrived I had to wait in a long line for my turn to get the cake, but of course they said (they thought I ordered but didn't come, they sold it to someone else - forcing me to continue waiting) - when I asked why, the shop owner ran out with a very arrogant and annoyed expression and said to me (you ordered it at 2:35, you have to come right now, it's 2:50, I don't have any cake) for example, order with an allowance of 5-10 minutes to get there and when you get there you have to wait in line, but the owner really looks down on customers with the attitude that there are many customers there and they don't care when they lose a customer. I think they are too rich and too arrogant to treat customers like that. As for the cake, it's just average and not delicious at all. But they think they sell the best with that arrogant attitude of looking down on customers. God is watching those who do it, they do it right and behave right, they will make a living, but with that attitude, I don't think they will sell for a long time. read more

Been here several times and I love trying something new here each time because everything they make is good! Keep forgetting to write them a review so gonna review today's items. Today I'm trying the number 6 called the fruit addict. It has lychee, Logan, jackfruit, palm seeds, jello, coconut, and coconut milk. I gotta say, I like this one a lot, all the fruits and the jelly mixed with the crush ice makes this a refreshing dessert. Definitely recommend. The second item I got today was the avocado smoothie. The smoothie was rich, thick and creamy and just the right amount of sweetness. Some of the other items I tried here before and also liked was the number 1, 11, and 14. This spot is perfect for dessert or a fruit smoothie if that's what you're looking for. read more

Bambu serves Asian-inspired dessert drinks including authentic Vietnamese Che and coffees, boba milk teas, and real fruit smoothies. Besides being both dairy and gluten free, our Che ingredients are prepared daily in our full kitchen from cutting fresh Thai young coconuts and capturing the fresh coconut water and meat, to preparing a fresh batch of Bambu's one-of-a-kind pandan jelly, red tapioca and fresh taro paste. Even though our core menu is comprised of 80 individually prepared drinks, what thousands of loyal customers of all ages enjoy the most personalizing their drink "Just the Way You Love It". History

Established in 2019.

In 2008, four Vietnamese sisters - Anh, Kelly, Jenny & Julie - open their first Bambu Shoppe in the heart of the Vietnamese community in San Jose, California. Their exceptionally friendly service and large menu of fresh, healthy, and authentic Ch® dessert drinks, crisp boba milk teas, signature Vietnamese coffees, real fruit smoothies, and exotic juices captured the attention of the entire San Francisco Bay Area. Today, there are over 70 Bambu Shoppes located in 22 states and Canada, including our very own unique shop in Garden Grove. I ascertained that this place is really popular and busy, hence our order was not called out until 1514. The wait was worth it! We both took our fist sip and were so happy with the flavor. The drink just hit the spot and immediately quenched our thirst. We will definitely be adding Cocoane to our favorites list for sugarcane drinks!

Maybe what makes them stand out is that they offer more flavors and different mix-and-match combinations. The main downside for me is the wait time. Whether you order in person or online, it still seems to take quite a while. Sugarcane juice is usually pretty simple and quick to make, so waiting more than 10 minutes for one drink feels a little too long for me. The shop itself is a bit small, and I think the space could be a little more organized and tidy. On the positive side, the cashier was very sweet, friendly, and helpful. Overall, the service was nice, but I do hope they can improve the speed of making the drinks and keep the space a little more organized.

DOUBLE CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS! This place is a RIP-OFF. They overcharged tax price. Yes. GG has 8.75% tax but we were charged double the tax price. the owner/ customer service is so poor , I asked politely how they compute the tax and the older guy came out and responds defensively and rudely with a condescending voice. Me and my girlfriend passed by this Bambu place today because I heard they have açaí bowl. Not disappointed, tried açaí compared to crave one, I like how it taste, less sweet, very rich flavor, which a lot of different add-on and fresh fruits. Owner would not let you redeem points earned. Why would you even participate in the program and have the kiosks there and not let your customers redeem? The lady which I believe to be the owner made up some weird excuses and was very rude. We didn't have time to deal with her and we're not coming back. read more
