I was thrilled to have Bamboo Bakery design my wedding cake. After first experiencing their work at a professional event 15 years ago, I knew they were the only choice for my wedding. They executed my vision flawlessly, bringing my ideas to life with precision. We selected the Pink Champagne and Orange Dreamsicle flavors, both of which were exceptional and highly praised by our guests. From the initial tasting to the final delivery, the experience was seamless and professional. I recommend them without reservation. read more

I was the lucky recipient of a birthday cake from Bamboo Bakery last night. My son and daughter in law had me over for dinner to celebrate my birthday. She bought the cake from Bamboo Bakery. The cake was a quarter sheet, chocolate with buttercream frosting. The cake was 5" tall! It was terrific. The cake itself was very moist and the buttercream frosting was not overly sweet. I'm all about good frosting so that was really appreciated. Amy said the service in the bakery itself was very fast when she went in to pick up the cake, and her experience while ordering was great. They even spelled my name correctly, which sometimes does not happen. I cannot speak to ambiance because I wasn't there. Amy said the place was very clean. BB is known for their wedding cakes but this birthday cake was terrific. And the pricing was at least 30% less than the go-to bakery our family used for several years. I'll definitely order from them in the future! Give them a try. You will not regret it. read more

I am extremely disappointed with the service here. We had two phone calls for the cake order AND and email. The owner gives us a pay now message by text never invoiced. He says only large wedding orders get an invoice?? Then he tells us that he can't make a cake with still two weeks in advance. We're not sure why he can't accommodate us. We already emailed all the details we needed. The ingredients shouldn't be hard to find. And he never gave us an order form. He came highly recommended, but the service we received doesn't match the glowing reviews. read more

Bamboo bakery is my absolute favorite bakery!!! They make the best cakes in Arizona. My wife and I have used bamboo bakery for our wedding, my birthday and now our son's baptism. I'm kinda torn. This is a tough one... Their show room has some incredible looking cakes on display. The tasting was fun, and the person who hosted it was likable. However, the cake arrived late, 15 minutes before the ceremony. We were a little perplexed when guests kept asking if it was an ice cream cake, and we didn't quite understand, until we each had a slice. The filing we ordered was raspberry with young coconut. Fun fact: frozen coconut filling is fairly tasteless. For $500, we expected a perfect cake, because it's... CAKE!!! We also expected a thawed cake. While the presentation was beautiful, the taste was disappointing. read more

We ordered our wedding cake from Bamboo Bakery. The tasting and ordering process was so easy and we got to try many different flavors before making our choice. We went with a chocolate cake with chocolate mousse and vanilla cake with peaches n cream filling. We went to other cake tastings before this one and weren't really satisfied. (We're huge cake lovers.) Once we tasted bamboo bakery's cake we knew this was the one! Their cake is so moist and their flavors are so unique and refreshing to the palette. Just enough sweetness. Not only was the cake delicious but the presentation was flawless and looked exactly like the inspo picture we showed them. I can't recommend them enough and I'll be ordering all my event cakes from them. read more

So I got my sweet sixteen birthday cake from here and it was delicious & decorated pretty! We did order it last minute they weren't about to do it but they did accept my order. So next time you do need like a month in advance notice for them. They make sweet sixteen, birthday, engagement, & wedding cakes. They give you samples to try out. I loved the champagne flavor we got 2 flavors champagne on top & strawberry on the bottom. He also designed my cake on a piece of paper. Also there were stars for decorations and they were edible! I wish I could give them 0 stars. They delivered the wrong cake to my client's wedding which means they also delivered the wrong cake to another wedding. And ruined two weddings!! They went this morning to get a refund on a cake that they couldn't eat. One of the brides is allergic to chocolate and they delivered a chocolate cake instead of the pink champagne cake they ordered. In addition they delivered the cake at 1 pm and the venue doesn't open until 2 pm. Luckily someone was there to receive it. They refused to give them a refund and didn't even apologize. Instead they laughed about ruining their wedding. And the cake didn't taste any better than a Costco cake. I'd expect more for something they paid several hundred dollars for. read more

Bamboo Bakery - Bamboo Bakery screwed up. And gave them a chocolate wedding cake and they are allergic to chocolate. - Custom Cakes Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

I have ordered several cakes from Bamboo Bakery...and they seriously deliver nothing but the BEST. I will post up photos of the 2 recent cakes our family has ordered soon. One is a white cake with pink and black decorations. It was for my sister's sweet 16th birthday bash. Everyone couldn't stop talking about the cake! It was a 2-tiered round cake. The raised columns really made the cake stand out. The decorations for her party were white, silver, fuschia, and black so the cake correlated VERY well. One tier was chocolate fudge and the other tier was strawberry champagne flavored. :) It was all gone by the end of the night. The second cake was for my ASU graduation party. Once again, we had the cake match the decoration colors. We used Black and Gold for the party decorations and the cake was exactly that. This time, we chose to go with 2-tiered square cake. It was GORGEOUS and everyone at the party loved it! The taste was out of this world too! We chose fresh strawberries and bavarian creme for the filling with whipped cream as the frosting. Let's just say...it was so good I had the top tier all to myself and ate it for lunch everyday until it was all gone. The flowers on the cake were beautiful and it was so well created, that my father couldn't even stop talking about it. He said "Wow! The cake is so pretty...especially the gold flowers!". This coming from a quiet, reserved, picky man...was one of the greatest compliments this cake could have received. :) You'll never be able to customize a cake the way you can at Bamboo Bakery! They create the most beautiful cakes and can really make your events truly "special". I will be ordering from them...FOREVER! read more
