Hands down! The most satisfying pizza in the Concord/Walnut Creek area. The toppings were generous and, well balanced. No scrimping on the ingredients. The crust was very light, thin and perfectly cook. The service by Danielle was excellent. We had ordered a medium Bambino's favorite, loaded with Italian sausage, salami, pepperoni, and mushrooms. Of course the pizza was wonderful as usual! My chef's special salad was nice and happy that the dressing was on the side. However my boyfriend's Caesar Salad was horrible!! So much salty dressing that less than half was edible. The crotons had lost all their crunch within minutes and it was soupy on the bottom half. Absolutely disgusting and wasteful. I've been coming here for years. Early during the pandemic I ordered some pizzas and they were sub par. I decided to wait and see. Well tonight I ordered food thru their online system. It gave a 30 minute completion time. Payed with a credit card. On arrival they told me 25 more minutes. After seeing that the restaurant was packed with no mask wearing by the employees. I decided to cancel my order. When I did they told me that I would have to try and get a refund thru app. WTF? I ordered thru their website. Never again will I go to this corrupt POS establishment. They were rude and fraudulent. Apparently I will have to take them to small claims court to get my $67.00 bucks back. read more

May I suggest to the owner to change to a pick up only type of restaurant. That way the waitresses won't be so burdened by having customers enter and expect to sit and eat there at the tables. So I heard the other table get their order taken minutes later. Then after more chit chat with cook, both ladies cleaned the table next to ours. Surprisingly there was no Hello, no can I get you some water? Nothing, so we just continued to choose what to eat from menu. Then my wife came in as she had a call to tend to in the car. We then decided what to get. 10 minutes went by at least. So now we've been there 15 minutes total. My wife started to ask... Why has no one came to the table? I said give them time. They will come out soon. So we went through the menu again. The waitresses continued to chat with cook. We put the menus down in a stack. Then another group of 3 came in. They were greeted with hello and seated on other side of the room, handed menus and started giving their order. My son said Dad, they took their order, I kid you not. My wife was fuming mad so again I calmed her down. Let's see if they come over to us now. Nope, they didn't so so I said fine. Over 20 minutes, no hello, no how are you, two other tables get greeted and orders taken, and there we are starving. Still neither one walked over to us. So I said forget it. Let's go. And we left. I had my 69th birthday celebration last month on the 12th it was fantastic I had almost 20 guests we had a blast our server her name was Alessandra she was absolutely adorable and so sweet and so attentive to all of us we all gave her 10 stars for her service!! Everybody enjoyed their food immensely I had shrimp scampi and it was great all in all I would go back there again I've been there several times in the past but this time was the best it was the bomb keep up the good work Bambino's I plan to come back as soon as I can I'm disabled I need a wheelchair and I live right around the corner at Willow Pass healthcare center so it's very convenient for me to get there with assistance the residents here go there once a month so I will be back thanks again!!! read more

I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND!! The service is awesome and the food is SO delicious! I didn't catch the name of our server, but she was an absolute delight. My husband and I asked her to surprise us with her choice of cocktails and boy did she deliver! They were perfect and I truly enjoyed having them with our meal. This was my first time here. I was told that their food was amazing. It was amazingly gross. My daughter ordered fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. She said the sauce was bland and tasted like milk. I ordered a lasagna. It was uneatable. Cold in the middle, more water than sauce. The meat tasted old. I called and spoke to the manager, I wasn't offered a refund. We have been here for dinner multiple times and each time the wait has been long for food. Tonight, service was non-existent. We were there 15 minutes before we were given menus. No offer of water or bread or even if we wanted appetizers or cocktails. 10 minutes later, the table of 8 that came in after us was getting water and their order taken. We were simply ignored. No one gives eye contact and it seems everyone for themselves. Servers walked by our table many times never asked if we're being helped. The "seat yourself" policy leaves a lot to be desired. No one takes accountability. After 25 minutes too long, we walked out. What a waste of our time. read more

We love visiting our local restaurant. The pizzas are delicious and very reasonably priced. The creamy gorgonzola pasta sauce is delicious. The service is always very attentive and friendly. The bar has a lot of TVs and it's a great place to watch a game. The bar has a lot of beer choices, but the only reason I don't visit more often is the lack of wheat beer/Hefeweizen choices. The last few times I have been to Bambino's, the only Hefeweizen choice was a draft Firestone Walker Cali Squeeze Blood Orange. The beer is ok, but it would be nice to have just a basic wheat beer. The Buffalo wings (12) were really good. Nice and crisp. I didn't have the sauce on it (they were in little containters) they were good without any sauce. We did order a slice of cheesecake and the smores for 2. The cheesecake was a standard cheesecake. Nothing to write home about, but good enough. The smores for 2 was not good. Like at all. I received no forks or napkins nor butter for the bread but still eager to try this pasta. Price per pasta was around $16 reasonable price and the delivery charge was not even $4 so that was fair. The new owner is pompous , has no idea how to run a restaurant. Doesn't understand the service industry and if he continues to treat his staff like crap he's gonna wonder why they are all gonna leave. As someone who's ran many successful restaurants he's gonna have to learn that the staff makes the restaurant and that the customer isn't always right. The regulars even know that he is fake. Maybe if he spent more time working the restaurant instead of just staring at people and faking friends at the bar he would under. I wonder how much of an idiot he sounds like Do me a favor, learn how to cook, learn how to bartend, learn the service industry before trying to own a restaurant. He was an amazing host yet when we walked in our waitress Danielle from last time recognized me from being there only once before. She even remembered where we sat!!! Our greeting from her was as if we were already family!!! Then comes another waitress Emily and she also remembered us!!! We decided to check out this place. Its really good. It has that homey feel but yet nice ambiance. I ordered three basilica rigatoni with sausage and husband ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with meatballs. Overall good were tasty. The pasta were al'dente cooked. Server was friendly and helpful. The owner or manager came to us to make sure everything was good and when he saw we had leftover, he offered bread to go and bagged it too. Not many restaurant do that kind little touch anymore.
