I also wanted a second set of eyes to check all my work and inspect everything once in a while, so I dropped my bike off at Fairfax Cycles. The main service I requested was to replace the front fork and exchange the fork and brake oils. I bought the Ohlins fork from Partszilla and dropped it off at the shop. I was missing some other small parts needed, and they were able to order it for me. I had a budget I wanted to stick to, and they were able to work with me to meet my budget and the services I needed. They were very flexible. For the amount of work done on my bike, I'd say the price was fair. The place is very busy all year round, though. Please set your expectations. You'll likely have to wait to get serviced. You'll also need to pick up ASAP. I felt good about all the services performed on the bike. The installed Ohlins fork makes the bike so much better. Will I come back, a definite yes.

John was straight forward from the beginning gave me a ballpark of what I would pay and things I would need to expect and how much time it would take. Also my parking brake is old so I had it towed over night to the location because it was stuck closed and John disengaged the parking brake for me for free. Bike runs awesome went in feeling like a trash can on wheels and left riding like a new bike.
