We recently hired Repipe Top Team to replace a main water line and 1960s galvanized plumbing due to…read morea main line water leak. I appreciated Miguel's attention to detail during the quote and suggestion to save money by relocating the main water line to avoid trenching through/under our driveway where the existing main water line was. We received a total of 5 quotes from various companies, and Repipe Top Team's price was in line with most of them, but the attention to detail in the quote was above and beyond the other companies. After hiring Repipe Top Team, Miguel was able to install a temporary main water line to bypass the leaking line while we waited for environmental testing and asbestos abatement. Miguel was the only contractor we received quotes from that required environmental testing for our old house. While it was a hassle, Miguel cares about the health and safety of his crew. On our scheduled date for the repipe project, Miguel and his crew showed up on time and were extremely professional. I was surprised at how many crew members were there, but they were able to complete the main water line and plumbing replacement within a single day. The team also performed some sewer line replacements under our sinks due to their age and was able to combine our laundry valves and drain into a single wall box. Miguel was accommodating to other requests, such as adding a stub out for a future sprinker system. Once the inspections were completed, a second crew came to patch the drywall and exterior stucco. We did have some issues with leaking/cracked P-traps under the sinks, but Miguel stood by his team's work and replaced them until they stopped leaking. Miguel refused to take payment until we were satisfied with the entire project. Throughout the entire process, Miguel's communication was prompt and detailed, and his crew performed quality work on the repipe project. They charged us $50 just to come and $425 for their service which is quite ridiculous because nothing was done, they just simply placed a stopper that may have cost a few dollars at Home Depot, we still do not have hot water. It took the worker longer to obtain the stopper at Home Depot and a few seconds to install while his partner was texting in the bathroom and sitting. I do not trust this company and personally will not be using them again. I asked to make sure if what they were charging me was reasonable for nothing was done and the worker simply said the owner said that was the price. I paid but will never be calling them again. I could have called a family member to help me shut the water and place the same stopper myself.

Accurate Plumbing was brought in the replace the leaky part with the sink. Upon arrival, the technician came into my home without introducing themselves. I had to ask clarifying questions to confirm that they were hired by the restoration company. I also found it incredibly rude that they left their shoes on without any shoe covered. Granted SOME areas were covered by plastic BUT they walked into areas without plastic covered with their dirty shoes into my home. This is my biggest pet peeve. As we walked to turn off the water for the house, the technical was telling me how this restoration company uses them cause they charge super cheap pricing. A bit sketch because that restoration company is their client in this situation and they were kind of throwing them under the bus, or trying to cut out the middle man for future business. What annoyed me even more, and I even called out how previous plumbing companies tell me to turn the water back on slowlyyyy to prevent the pipes from cracking from immediate pressure. This dude just turns on the water real quick anyways. Rude! If they treated my home with respect I would have considered hiring them in the future, but they did an awful job representing their client and themselves on this visit. I felt very disrespected and annoyed by their visit. I don't care how cheap it was, I would rather pay more for quality and respect.
