Honestly, this is the only place you should ever get Chinese food anywhere in Morris County! Picked up a bunch of small (pint) portions of pork fried rice, chicken fried rice, shrimp lo mein, wonton soup, and Shanghai wonton soup and spring rolls. First the fried rice is super flavorful, not greasy and actually still comes with peas, white onions, egg, and scallions like the recipe used to be! The spring rolls have shrimp, fresh veggies and super crispy! The Shanghai wontons so delicious and the filling again, flavorful, great portion and amount for a pint size soup. Do yourself a favor and GO! They are predominantly now only take out (freaking Covid) but the food is Soooooo worth it! I drive to pick up and pass at least 3-4 other Chinese places, but I don't care to drive an extra 20 minutes to come here!

If the restaurant isn't interested in preparing a good meal, it shouldn't be open for lunch. I was very disappointed; I cook at home, and I wouldn't be too proud of serving such a meal. The rice was rather bland. The broccoli wasn't even warm and the chicken seemed tired. Salad was pretty good. Nice enough service. Good jazz soundtrack played softly, a plus. With so many restaurants around, I won't bother going back to this one.

But after a slight dip in quality a few year ago (plus inconvenience of not having credit card machines) I stopped ordering from them. Well after 2-3 years of no patronage, I decided to give them another try a few weeks ago and WOW!!!!!! I was AMAZED by how good it was. The chicken is perfectly cooked and crispy and the flavor is a drool-inducing mix between sweet and spicy. Dip a piece of chicken in the pork fried rice and you are in for a treat my friend. Lastly, the much needed addition of the Square credit card device makes paying for your order a breeze and the delivery guy is always very friendly and helpful. Chang's and decided to stop by after a day of water park fun. It was dinner time, mid week in August. There were maybe six other tables which had patrons. We were greeted and seated right away. Our waitress was mostly MIA the remainder of the evening. I cannot say what kept her attention, but it wasn't us nor the other patrons. Multiple times, our water glasses were empty, she didn't check on us at all without being flagged down. Again, the restaurant wasn't busy at all. Beyond the service aspect, I'd give the cocktails 5 stars, the hot food 4.5 stars and the sushi was 2.5 stars at best. I think stop&shop sushi is likely better. Sriracha sauce on a roll is just a no for me, lazy and lacks imagination. Unfortunately, all of the nostalgia we had for this place is now gone. The hot food was very tasty, but the rest of the experience, at this price point, will not see us return.
