It was much louder than our dishwasher from the 1990s and could be heard from the floor above our kitchen. I reported the issue to the company. I asked for an exchange for a different unit. They would not comply with my request and continued to tell me that nothing was wrong with the unit that I had, even though it was obviously not working properly. I could not live with the "new dishwasher" that was clearly malfunctioning. We ended up replacing the unit for a different brand, but had to pay a $125 restocking fee. It was absurd that we were made to pay $125 for a broken unit. I was really hoping to support local business, especially since my extended family has enjoyed working with this company for several decades. Very disappointing!

Callier Thompson had renovated one of our 2nd floor bathrooms almost a decade earlier. I was more than surprised to hear they would send a foreman out to investigate the source of the leak. Matthew arrived to discover that after years of use a small area in the grout had deteriorated to allow water through. He cane several times to repair the grout, removed and replaced the damaged area of the ceiling re-sanded and repainted.....all done free for us! You don't find that kind of support often these days. They tried for about 5 minutes and said it couldn't be done. So they just left I had to return the fridge! They had also told me I would have to hook up the water supply. Well, not at Bill's! They did a perfect job! The salesman was friendly and informative and the delivery guys were amazing!! They had to work at it, but they were very smart and experienced (and funny too). They got the old refrigerator out and perfectly installed my new one plus a new dishwasher. They really know exactly what they're doing. What a relief! This is the place to go for appliances. Poor service. Selection is limited. They advertise sales and rebates, but when you get down to the…read morenitty gritty charges for miscellaneous things like delivery they rip you off. So, the value "looks" good, but in reality it's no different than shopping at other hardware stores like Lowe's and Home Depot. When you buy a product they act like you're getting a deal because of the rebates, but you have to pay more to begin with for the same products elsewhere. The rebate thing is a total gimmick and Menards is a ripoff. And, they make you go through the work of mailing in the rebate form (which could be an online thing but it's not) just to get back to the price you'd be paying elsewhere. Menards is a ripoff. They also charge about 9x more for delivery and set up compared to Lowe's. We paid $250 for a delivery and set up of a refrigerator and range to a first floor kitchen with no steps and Lowe's charges $35 for the same exact thing. Menards also charges $145 additional for pickup if you change your mind and return the item within the 7 days they allow (we changed our minds on the range), but at Lowe's it's FREE for a pickup of unwanted items that you had delivered if it's within 48 hours. Any way you look at it there's a ripoff going on at Menards. So, in conclusion we paid almost $400 in delivery/set up fees with the added pickup fee included in that price. $35 @ Lowes for same thing.

I am rescinding my 5 star review…read more Last night, just months after we paid full price for a professional installation the loaded Asko dishwasher tipped out of the cabinet as not one single retaining bolts were installed. We found the bolts and the specialized retaining spaces in the owners manual bag. At least the installer did not discard them. After watching several Asko sponsored instructional videos online last evening I secured the dishwasher as the installation professional neglected to do. Seems like securely attaching the appliance would be a basic step.
