One of the better Home Depots in the STL metro area. I think it's about 3/4th the size of the Sunset Hills or South County location, which is perfect for me, someone who usually gets flustered by large stores. Every staff member we dealt with was friendly. My only complaint is that they no longer have cashiers, it's self-checkout with an attendant. That being said, they have one of the best self-checkouts I've dealt with lately. Super easy. Parking is plentiful, and the store is easily accessible off of the busy Manchester Road. read more

Very well organized and open. Fully stocked. Came in to look for a fridge, and washer and dryer for my new house. There were a few selections to choose from. The prices were up there, not sure what the normal price range of appliances are. I however didn't enjoy not being greeted by the sales rep, as she stood there, looked and me and continued talking with other customers. I recently moved to the area and started checking out all the local hardware stores, but I keep coming back to this one. This location usually has what I need in stock, so I don't have to order items online. I've gone in several times for paint, and every time, the employees at the paint counter have been friendly and thorough. One thing I really appreciate is being able to place a paint order, shop around, and then pick it up at the front when I'm done. One time, I ordered 3 five gallon containers of paint, and they had it all loaded onto a flatbed and ready at checkout. That kind of service really stood out. Around the rest of the store, the staff is helpful when you can find them. It does seem like they're either already assisting someone or a bit hard to track down, but when I do get someone's attention, they're usually polite and knowledgeable. Prices here are comparable to the other big-name hardware stores, but the service has kept me coming back. read more

They've got what you need. This has been my long-term hardware store because they almost always are stocked up on what I need and they have a great app that will tell you exactly where a product is in the store. Sometimes the workers are hard to find, but are always knowledgeable and helpful once you can locate them. They usually have a pretty good value, too, compared to Walmart. read more

Once again, high five to Home Depot because this is one of the few places we can shop with fur babies. The employees at this location are helpful and friendly. I love this location for sodding because when I need it, it is usually in stock and quality. Also sometimes I am able to snag one of the guys to load. I love how knowledgeable the employees on staff are. We receive informative, good, concrete advice. They have great prices along with extended payment plans. Everybody knows you have to work hard and basically stalk an employee while they deal with other customers to get help at Home Depo. It's the way it's always been and we accept that. I do 95% of my home improvement shopping at Menards for this very reason. What I find beyond the pale is walking up to 2 Home Depot employees helping 1 person. First of all, what lottery did this guy win? Second, after standing there for 5 minutes, clearly waiting for help and getting completely ignored by both employees, I gave up. This is the poorest customer service I've ever seen. I know for a fact that Home Depot uses secret shoppers, I have a relative that was one, why they go to that trouble and completely ignore the feedback is beyond me. I feel lucky to have 2 home improvement box stores within a couple miles of my house, unfortunately one seems to be actively trying to drive away customers and the other is completely ignoring county CoVid mandates. This store is huge, and has pretty much everything you could want. I literally went here to purchase nails, and was confronted with the decision of choosing between probably 50 different types of nails or combo packs! Decisions, decisions... All of the associates were super-friendly, and there were plenty of open lines to get through check-out quickly. The only downside to this store is that it's in an awkward, nearly empty, strip mall which could use some remodeling itself! However, I'd definitely stop by here if you need something for your home repairs and improvements. read more

when I arrived at the online pick up counter I said "good evening" to the associate. He said nothing. I then said "my name is 'x', I have an on..." when he interrupted to simply bark "drivers license." He then typed and clicked away at the computer terminal. Then searched for the box. Then returned to demand "sign." Then his personal cell rang he dismissed me and I had ask he give me the box of items I ordered. Since this Home Depot is very close to the K mansion I have used it often. I have used it so often I thought I wrote a review about it. So often I don't check in because it is an in and out for me. This used to be one busy store 15 years ago now not so busy on the weekday. I walked in and was greeted by everyone I made eye contact with. So I am thinking maybe 3 people said hi and can I help you? Then I dropped my eyes and went to the light bulb section. I just can't handle all this nice stuff. I am slowly changing The K palace into all LED. I never know how darn many fixtures there are in this Chateau. Today alone I replace 9 bulbs. I really like HD's selection of LED's. They have canister style regular bulbs and candle style bulbs. Today was canister and candle style. My canister lights are about 15 foot up. No ladder I purchased one of those extension bulb changers. I would have the job finished faster if I had purchased the right bulbs. Which leads to my second visit. Back to HD and returned the wrong bulbs and took a sample bulb with me. I took the sample because I did not really want to make a third trip. :) The exchange went easy and I found the right bulb. For a good job to be perfect it must be done twice. My home my rules. LOL!! read more

I purchased 2 twin adjustable bed frames online from home Depot on 5/23/2020 it's now 8/17/2020 and I still only have 1 frame, but there are over 100 of them in stock. My $2500 mattress I purchased elsewhere is still laying on the floor. I've called Home Depot many many times who then calls the manufacturer (Classic Brands LLC) and nothing ever happens. I even called Classic Brands myself and they tell me I have to go through Home Depot. Every time I call Home Depot, I get the same old response "I'll have them put a rush on it"... I do what Home Depot tells me to do about this, I've placed orders, replaced orders, canceled orders, got refunds, placed more orders, and almost 3 months now, still only half a bed. I call Home Depot and been hung up on multiple times or disconnected. But if disconnected no one ever calls me back. I've asked for a supervisor many times but they won't put one on the phone. Home Depot used to be a quality store. But that was years ago. Now this store is dark, the aisles are cluttered with pallets of products. The employees all walk around like unhelpful drones, all wearing their grimy, unwashed aprons. It is really a pathetic excuse for a business. This location in particular will most likely be run out of business very soon since Wal-Mart and Petco left the plaza. The whole strip is mostly empty, and the fact that Home Depot has turned into junk will not help them survive in this economy. I don't know what the higher-ups at H.D. are thinking, but they obviously aren't thinking of running a quality competitor for Lowe's or even Ace - where the oldsters shop. read more

I don't visit this location often but I was in the area today and stopped by for some plant needs. Their selection was sparse... primarily since it's mid February. I did pick up a few begonias and a small orchid. But they were out of orchid mix or fertilizer. Sometimes, it can be really hard finding help in a Home Depot. Alas, I made my way over to the appliance section at this location and found a designer to help my husband and I with a bathroom remodel. Because of our hectic schedules, we arrived at 8PM, and the designer, Amy, helped us until just after their 9PM close time, writing down the items we picked out, making suggestions, pointing out options, thinking about details we may not have thought of. She was never pushy, trying to point us in the direction of the most expensive options or anything like that. She went through the credit card application process with us and set us up for delivery to avoid having to haul everything home ourselves. We were back two or three other nights, closing the place down getting everything we needed. We were helped by Amy again, Jane, and Andy in tile. They were all very helpful and patient. They gladly called in to get our subsequent purchases put on the same financing deal we had gotten before and had ended before we could get everything done. Delivery went well. Upon delivery, I noticed they forgot our toilets. I called the store, and they immediately knew what I was talking about and were already loading up the missed items on a truck to bring over. They were very apologetic and quick to fix the mistake. Two thumbs up for this Home Depot location and all the team members that helped us! read more

They would like you to register at Home Depot.com under the free kids and diy workshops. All kid get to keep their craft, receive a FREE certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin while supplies last. This is the best home depot in st. louis...Why? Because its not crowded with the typical riff-raff Wal-marters you see in Brentwood and other places. The chesterfield location is nice, but I feel their prices are higher. The plaza this home depot is located in is dying and Menards is moving in down the street, but I hope this place stays open. If you are into the huge, crowded, idiot staff members that you find at places like that, this wont be the location for you. The staff at this location is the most courteous and always will to help me find anything. They are so friendly, its sometimes annoying when Im just looking. Started my day realizing that my patio motion security light was no longer working. My first stop to browse for a replacement was Home Depot on Manchester in Ballwin, MO. As I wandered to find the display, an employee approached me and asked if he could help me. Apparently he worked in the electrical are of the store and escorted me to the display of outdoor security lights. His name was Ali and he was polite, knowledgeable, patient, informative, and VERY much appreciated. He actually explained the differences of some of the displays and listened to my thoughts regarding what I was looking for. Usually when I purchase an item like this, I shop several different stores which eventually can turn a minor project into a major one. He was AMAZING. He applied absolutely NO PRESSURE and patiently answered ALL of my questions. With customer service like this, I would have been crazy to go somewhere else. I'm not one to typically post a review, Buy I just had a great experience at Home Depot in the paint department, specifically. The two gentlemen working there were extremely helpful and even went out of their way to ask me if I needed any help as I was walking around looking at different items. They were helpful in telling me to go outside to look at my paint colors to compare in the sunlight and decide the one that I liked best opposed to the fluorescent lighting that they have. They then went over all the supplies that I would need to paint the room that I was talking to them about. This place has no customer service skills. When I first walked in gentleman named Moe asked me to wait while he finished whatever he was doing on the computer which is about five minutes. He then attempted to assist me and contacted Dawn in the tool department to bring up an item that I was picking up after placing an online order. 30 minutes later Dawn never brought up the product to customer service. When I walked to the tools department and spoke with Dawn she acknowledged that she was advised by Moe to bring the tools up. she did not have an explanation as to why she did not bring the item up to customer service. She then looked on the computer and told me they do not stock that item in store and it must be ordered online needless to say I wasted almost an hour between two customer service reps that had no idea how to actually help out a customer I am extremely disappointed and will never shop there again.
