In the past we have…read morebought a SPEED QUEEN washer and dryer that were well priced, delivered on time, etc. It was such a nice experience that when our Dishwasher died, Suzanne and I, after some online product research, were pleased to find that Slyman Brothers offered the top-of-the-line Bosch Dishwashers. Jake, our Sales Associate was very knowledgeable regarding the different Bosch models' features and benefits. He answered all our questions clearly. But even more helpful was that when I explained my concern that our Dishwasher which died was the original dishwasher from 1994, and since we had new granite counters installed some years afterwards would a new Bosch Dishwasher fit and work properly. Without hesitation Jake offered to come to our home and measure the space, etc. to be sure a new one could fit and work. He made an appointment for a quick visit to measure the space and assess the plumbing set up, etc. At our home, after checking, Jake assured us that the new Bosch Dishwasher would be fine. We bought the 800 Series 24" Dishwasher later that day! Jake truly went that "extra mile" that you very seldom see in today's retail environment. This is why Suzanne and I awarded a well-deserved 5 Stars Review to Slyman Brothers.

After the delivery people left, we discovered that the dryer didn't work. The store was closed, so we called first thing the next morning, assuming they would of course take it back. Nope. The "customer experience team" told us we would have to wait for their contracted repair person and actually had the nerve to say they would have taken it back if we had refused delivery, but since we had accepted the dryer, it was our problem. As though we could have asked the delivery people to wait while we did a load of laundry and threw it in the dryer. GE did the right thing and gave us a new dryer and hauled the malfunctioning one away. But you would think that a business as big as Slyman Bros could have replaced the dryer and dealt with GE themselves. (Both the repair guy and the guys who delivered the new dryer from GE expressed surprise at Slyman's refusal to do this.) Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else for your appliances. These people apparently only care about making the sale and aren't concerned with customer service.

Callier Thompson had renovated one of our 2nd floor bathrooms almost a decade earlier. I was more than surprised to hear they would send a foreman out to investigate the source of the leak. Matthew arrived to discover that after years of use a small area in the grout had deteriorated to allow water through. He cane several times to repair the grout, removed and replaced the damaged area of the ceiling re-sanded and repainted.....all done free for us! You don't find that kind of support often these days. They did a perfect job! The salesman was friendly and informative and the delivery guys were amazing!! They had to work at it, but they were very smart and experienced (and funny too). They got the old refrigerator out and perfectly installed my new one plus a new dishwasher. They really know exactly what they're doing. What a relief! This is the place to go for appliances. We found the bolts and the specialized retaining spaces in the owners manual bag. At least the installer did not discard them. After watching several Asko sponsored instructional videos online last evening I secured the dishwasher as the installation professional neglected to do. Seems like securely attaching the appliance would be a basic step.

We called our home warranty company, who sent someone out to add freon and then just gave up on the thing when that didn't fix the problem. We were searching for a replacement fridge (for a $7K custom build in ). I was a little wary of this place when I saw they used an answering service, and worried they would farm out my work. I was grateful to get a call back within an hour of my call, and had a technician thoroughly assess what was going on over the phone. I'd seen other reviews mention they came out with the tools needed to get the job done, and think this is incredibly thoughtful, as most other spots seem to be happy to charge you for an extra service visit after the initial assessment. Vic came in, immediately spotted the problem (dirty condenser coils!) fixed it on the spot, and even inspected and fixed a separate appliance. He was great about explaining what went wrong and letting us know how to maintain it ourselves. After months without a freezer, we were back in business within hours, with great advice to boot. He even texted to follow up a few hours after he left to see if things were going okay. I can't recommend this place enough!
