Technician dropped a box of screws in my driveway. Never told me. Screw ended up in tire. Never apologized. Technician offered to patch the tire himself. No thanks, I'll let the professionals do that. When I asked for the owners contact information, the receptionist was rude and deflective. Never gave me the contact info. Said the owner would just say the same thing as her. That the technician was responsible for the tire not the company. Technician said the owner said that he would give me $100 for the tire. No more. And that he wanted to keep the tire with the hole in it in return. Weird. I will let everyone who asks know that Ballards is not the company to go with. Unprofessional. Save your headache, go with Fullscope or some other reputable pest control instead. Edit: The guy who called me NEVER offered to tow my car. So either you're lying or the guy didn't relay that message to me. If that's what you wanted to happen then YOU should of called me. Not some random car shop. It is a pleasure to do a review for Ballard's. Larry Ballard is a consummate pro & his team that worked with us was truly professional and a pleasure to have working in our home. Our experience goes back to purchasing a home in Kingwood 23 years ago, when Larry detected a major termite problem in a home that we had made an offer on. Most people would have missed it - and I confess that I was shocked when he discovered the small, tell-tale hole in patterned wallpaper in a soffit above a bathtub. The problem turned-out to be so massive that it killed the deal on that beautiful house. Ballard's has been a "mom and pop" company that has been in business for over 35 years. Their employee turnover is extremely low...the shortest tenure of any employee is 10 years. I needed a professional opinion of a home inspection report regarding possible termite infestation. Larry was here quickly and relieved any fears I had as there was no sign of termites. He took the time to dig into the ground to inspect the area, the home inspector simply looked at earthworm burrowing and labeled it termites.
