We've been to Ball Arena, previously known as Pepsi Center, many times. Events and shows including concerts, family shows like Disney On Ice, sporting events for the Colorado Avalanche, Denver Nuggets and Colorado Mammoth. Today's occasion was a club level suit for a friend's birthday and it was also Rocky's birthday as well. Quite memorable as you can see, the suite had food and drinks while the club level offered additional food and drink options. Many lounges, walk up bars and food stands to satisfy any craving. The Ball Arena had pretty great seats for how big it was, sometimes the higher up the seats are the worse it is, but it wasn't bad being up in section 310! The staff are always friendly and helpful when we come to watch the Nuggets. The lines move quickly and for as many people as there can be it doesn't feel grossly crowded. We tried a new restaurant this time. NOLA Jane and it was a bit disappointing. The bread in the sandwich was hard on the ends and it was way more bread than anything else. The Jambalaya was a little better having more flavor. I love the energy of the crowd at Ball Arena and it's especially fun when the Nuggets win, of course. The main reason for our Denver trip was to catch the Warriors vs. Nuggets game. Ball Arena is conveniently located about 10 minutes from Union Station, right in the heart of downtown. It's an easy walk if you want to save a few bucks on an Uber. The lines outside were insanely long about an hour before tip-off. I'm used to arenas opening their doors much earlier, but it seemed like Ball Arena didn't let anyone in until exactly an hour before the game...though I'm not entirely sure. Once inside, the security and staff gave us a hard time for being Warriors fans, but it was all in good fun. We laughed it off. What I didn't love was their bag policy. No regular bags or purses are allowed. Only small clutches or fanny packs up to 4x6 inches. That's barely enough room for a phone and wallet. I grabbed the fried tacos while we were there, and they were about a 3.5 star meal at best. It was around $18 for three tacos. The steak ones were better than the chicken. Definitely ask for extra salsa. Honestly, I'd rather have tacos from Jack in the Box. read more

Horrible experience 10/10 wouldn't recommend. I am writing, as myself, my husband, and my disabled mother came to see Earth Wind and Fire with Lionel Richie on 7/31. This was to be an enjoyable experience for her birthday. I would like to express this was the most unpleasurable experience ever at your facility. My mother had a walker and everyone in guest relations and security alike had zero answers for my husband and I where to put it because it wasn't "allowed" on the floor then were asked if we wanted to upgrade to handicap which is so inconsiderate that my mother ended up feeling bad and like a burden what a birthday!. We spent an EXORBITANT amount of money for this show to be told basically oh well, here's your crippled mother good luck and we don't know where to put your walker. In the same token your security team were some of the RUDEST i've ever encountered in the industry. I am appalled at how we were treated and at this point of time myself and my husband are very discouraged on ever visiting Ball Arena again. Do better, have staff act better, and maybe hire better more considerate security. read more

This is a fairly standard arena, but what stood out to me during my visit was the amount of staff who were working and how helpful they were. I came to see a mostly sold out concert. The outside staff made sure we were in the right spots and got us lined up, so things would go smoothly when the doors opened. And they did. Then the inside staff was able to direct us to our seats and answer any questions we had - namely - where is a bathroom and where can I buy merch? 18,000+ is a large crowd and it didn't seem like anybody lost their cool. Props to the ownership and management groups. They spent a lot of money building a state of the art arena and I'm glad they invested in a solid staff to help their visitors enjoy themselves. As for my club level seats - the sight lines were fantastic. Sound for the headliner was actually pretty good. The opener needed a little help, but that happens in a large building that was mostly built for sports. A note - I was visiting without a car and I loved taking the light rail from downtown to the arena - especially since it was roughly $11 for a round trip ride. read more

Don't go to many events anymore as I don't like to deal with parking. But Twice is a must do. Bought parking as part of my tickets and had the pass pulled up as I drove up to the attendant. He thanked me for that as it made it easy. It was a little confusing to find the entrance as there were a lot of people but if you take your time you ca figure out where to go. There are electric charging stations in the Camry lot which was nice. Entered the venue and there were tables set up for bag checks right in the middle of both sets of doors. If you didn't have a bag you could keep going. Scanned the ticket on the turnstile and it bumped me through. I didn't walk fast enough :) up the escalators to the merchandise line for them to look at what was available. I purchased water and of course bottle caps not allowed. One of the servers did ask my friend before he unscrewed the cap if she wanted the water without it. For some patrons it's a deal breaker. $7 for water but after buying water in a Vegas hotel this didn't phase me. It was a large bottle so I was ok with that. Popcorn smelled good and they enjoyed theirs. The French fries looked tasty too. I skipped those as I didn't want to carry so many things. Restrooms were fine. Clearly labelled if not functioning which I appreciate. Paper towels and toilet paper stocked all night. Love that! Acoustics were not as good in the upper levels but the energy of Twice and the visually appealing videos were awesome. Glad we came and we're all tired but had a great time. All the employees we encountered were helpful and pleasant. Made for a good night with friends. read more

Just a little too expensive on the food side here, but already grabbed dinner elsewhere before coming here. Our tummy's are content and just ready to get our grooves on with the show. Woohoo! The service at Ball is always wonderful when you read the rules and follow. No issues whatsoever. You only make it difficult for yourself when you don't read the rules before coming. Came to Ball Arena to see a Colorado Avalanche playoff game and the atmosphere and crowd was definitely lit. Getting to my seat inside the area was not too difficult plus the view of the game was fairly decent. I like the cold temperatures inside the arenas during a hockey game but that line to the restroom was long. I did not get any food during the game. For an anniversary present to my wife, who is a long time Nuggets fan, I got us tickets to a game here (our second here together). It was a rollercoaster! Seeing the Nuggets win together while witnessing a portion of Nikola Jokic's historic season (which oddly seems commonplace at this point) was a memory I will cherish. Absolutely horrible personnel who run their security! Not only did I have to bring my small purse to come sketchy van in the parking lot to check (for an extra $10), but every single security person there was an absolute jerk on some power trip! One "Karen" told me I couldn't stand outside of the men's room to wait for my friend, and we were told to go different directions by so many of them that convinces me they don't know what they're doing. It was an overly frustrating experience and makes me never want to watch another game or concert there again! read more

Yes, I went to see Justin Timberlake. I've seen dozens of concerts and sporting events here. I've sat in the front row...and the last row. My thoughts, I was atleast in the building. Standard complaints...long lines for merch, difficulty getting out of the building. You just have to be patient and show up early. The entry scanning has gotten a bit quicker espically if you remember where you're going and don't take a bunch of stuff with you ! Plenty of snack and beverage options available. Really do like that they changed to all aluminum cups a few years back. These make great souvenirs or they recycle them for you. read more

The seats get smaller going from 100 - 200 - 300 levels so keep that in mind. The food has gotten better over the years and the nachos are still craptastic unless you go to club level and those nachos are definitely worth the price of admission. We have been here for concerts, Avalanche games and other events. Staff is always friendly and if you ever get lost they will guide you in the right direction. Drink selection is top notch and parking is passable until you get halfway to Mile High. Then you will be looking at some questionable digs. Regardless, go pay the exuberant parking prices and go to your event. Most importantly have a great time! read more

Things have definitely become more strict so I recommend you bring a super tiny bag that only fits your keys and a lipgloss. I've brought the same bag for years with no issues but when I went to see Sabrina, they were bag matching the size. I have never seen this before. In the past, I've seen people bring clear backpacks so don't assume your bag is safe just because it's clear. They have an actual sample size bag to measure. Food and drinks are expensive. I just find it very unhygienic that they take your lid when you order a bottle of water. When it's siting in that cup holder, someone's sweat could fall in my open bottle. I'm not sure what they worry about because I watched a girl put her vape pen in the bowl and security didn't say a thing. Crazy. Vape pens okay. You don't have to pay for crazy expensive seats. We sat in section 300 row 1 and the views were great. There's also less people so the lines aren't as long for bathrooms. Be prepared to prove your seat everywhere you go - except section 300. No one checks for tickets. read more

It's a smaller space than some other booths I've been in but hey, can't complain, too much, either. Just glad to be there and get these tickets. The view was good! Sound was good! We have been here several times, for Nuggets and Avs games and concerts as well, probably one of the easier large arena to get around in. This last Nuggets game we got to sit in our companies club level seating section 228, I always love the vibe and electric energy at these games. The service is always super friendly and helpful, the drinks are a little high priced, but it's worth it. I usually park at Parking Garage is a few blocks away to avoid the crowds and just walk over, there are lots of parking options, especially if you use SpotHero app. We enjoyed it every time we come, and I cannot wait for the upgrades that they're going to do in and around Ball Arena. read more

Ballerina is one of the best places to go for concerts, or any other type of venue always have a really good time. The bathrooms are always clean and kept up, which is a big deal for me at any stand food or alcohol. Definitely mind the bag policy. While Ball Arena doesn't consistently enforce it, be prepared that ladies clutch bags do not exceed the 4x6 dimensions. The wristlet that I have been using all summer was off by almost an inch, so without any bag checks or lockers around, I, along with other patrons, were returning to their vehicle. Arrived to the game incredible late today but the expiwrended when i arrived was an embarrassment. For starters the signage when you arrive is poor/nonexistent which creates a challenging s oriented from your first introduction. Down that point once you find clear in the sketch lot that's available there's so much uncertainty about if you can park there as attendees. I went to go see Cirque du Soleil CRYSTAL. Ooh an absolute must! The arena: It was quite amazing to see an arena with organization for this event. Getting through the security was a little annoying especially when the lines were long yet there was empty lines but we couldn't switch over. Eh. Minor annoyance. Getting to call was very easy and simple. After I got my tickets, I went up the escalators and was greeted by the sweet heavenly aroma of a cinnamon churro. And I headed straight to that kiosk After I inhaled it, I enjoyed the show. I wish there was more lake space in the arena. Especially because I don't find myself that tall at 5:10 so I couldn't imagine any of my family members squeezing in there. Fortunately, I had an ILC and utilized a little bit of that space. I like that there was so many food options, and I did not get sick from any of the food which I was very grateful for and also surprised. The Nuggets vs Timberwolves game was exciting, but the officiating completely took away from it. Way too many inconsistent calls and missed fouls. It felt like the refs were controlling the flow of the game instead of letting the players play. Really frustrating experience especially when the Timberwolves blatantly foul right in front of the referees and they call it on Denver. Absolutely disgrace to watch as it constantly happened. read more

Hate to say this, but this arena is a little better than crypto arena, home of my LA kings. Really great atmosphere in the arena. Even though me and my buddies were wearing our Kings gear, fans were really nice and friendly. Lots of different varieties of drinks and foods to choose from. The big screen is huge and one of the better screens I have seen in an arena. We took an Uber from our hotel and pre gamed at a restaurant in their downtown and was able to walk to the arena. Seems like a lot of the fans eat and drink at the downtown bars and walk over to the arena. Really good experience and I would encourage anyone to go to a hockey game here. read more

Chris Brown 11:11 concert at Ball Arena was fantastic. Muni Long and Maeta did great as well to open the show. DJ Fresh (Chris' personal DJ), did this thing and keep the crowd hype and engaged the entire time. Great sound, great seats, great visuals and great company to enjoy it all. If you decide to share ride to and from events here, I recommend you walk to Union Station for pickup it will save you over $25 no exaggeration. One of easiest arenas to navigate. Food options were typical will normal prices no complaints on our end. Getting through security was smooth and organized. After entry, security was not nowhere to be found in our section. Unsure if it was due to the location of our seats but nonetheless really strange to not see security walking the isles like other arenas. Lastly.... Very Weird to see several people openly smoking weed in the arena although it is a non-smoking arena. read more

My nephew was in town and the best way to spend a Friday night was at Ball arena watching the Avalanche play. Tickets were reasonable for the lower section. One huge dislike was how narrow the seats were. However, we made do and fully immersed in the experience. Doors opened roughly an hour before game time. We made a quick stop at a few of the team shops and found some cool merchandise that was on sale. There are a ton of food stands located throughout the venue. Prices are a bit steep which is expected for a professional team. The view from our seats was great! We got to watch quite the nail biter and witness the first win of the season! As a LOS ANGELES LAKERS and CLIPPERS fan, visiting Denver and stepping into Ball Arena was an absolute dream. I was there for the double overtime thriller where Jokic scored sixty one points, and it was hands down one of the most unforgettable basketball experiences of my life. I have been to a lot of games and several different arenas, but nothing comes close to the energy inside Ball Arena.
