Professional lacrosse at its best! This is an affordable and fun outing for everyone. The Outlaws play their home games at Sports Authority Field at Mile High. Tickets are cheap and the action is incredible. This is THE up and coming sport in Colorado! I love to watch the players in motion, they are so fast and so skilled. @@If you want a really great experience try out their VIP tickets! @@ They are still very reasonably priced for being right on the field in its own roped off area next to the action. You watch sitting right smack in the middle of the game ...promise you won't miss a shot or a big hit! Woohoo. If you go VIP, be prepared to duck behind the barrier if the ball heads your way as there is nothing between you and the players! They even have VIP concessions (great eats and cocktails) right there in your own cordoned-off area. :-) Love the action and adore the price! ***Don't forget the 4th of July fireworks!!! I have been a regular at the Mammoth (NLL) for the last couple years, so I have discovered the non-stop action and fun of lacrosse. This year, we finally made it to a Outlaws game. They don't sell out Invesco entirely, so if you get a seat, it will be a good one. This is nice since you get an altogether more intimate affair. Some things to know: - they only open 2 gates (one for upper levels and one for lower) - parking is open and generally cheaper than the Broncos (we paid $10 and were at one of the closest in lots). However, they don't have anyone directing traffic after the game - so be prepared for a free for all. Deep breaths :) - they only have limited concessions open - a little bit of everything, but not everything is open so lines can get long. All in all it was a great time. The tix are cheap and the vibe is fun. We will be back! Oh and if you go for the fireworks, they are AWESOME. Honestly, the best show I have seen in the Denver Metro Area. read more

What a disaster! I went to the July 4, 2019 fireworks game. The game was an hour late getting started, I totally understand because it was raining. Then, right before halftime, in great weather, they called a weather delay. No rain, no lightning, no explanation other than saying it was a severe weather alert and saying with a really deep voice so it was convincing. The only flashing in the sky was other venues setting off their fireworks and the only "thunder" was the sound of other fireworks. Finally, after a half an hour of sitting around, I took off. From what I can tell, they started up again and then it stopped for a while, who knows, maybe there was an actual severe weather alert. I don't know if they ever did have the fireworks display...the whole evening was a joke. I have no idea who's running the show there but whoever it is sure doesn't know what they are doing! Definitely a huge waste of time and money. read more

I have to admit I'm from the Midwest and had never even heard of Lacrosse until I moved to Denver about a dozen years ago. I've been to several Mammoth games and truly enjoyed them and when the opportunity to go to an Outlaws game came up (and with fireworks), I couldn't turn it down. There were only a couple entrances open to Invesco and a lot of concessions simply weren't open, which was a bummer. Parking was easy and cheap, which was a plus. Major caveat was that we went on a fireworks night and there was no one at all directing traffic. It was a complete and total madhouse/nightmare getting out and it took almost 45 minutes just to get out of the parking lot and onto the highway. read more

The Outlaws put on a GREAT show! I'm a big Denver sports fan. This year, I decided to attend my first professional LAX game. The Outlaws did not disappoint! Mile High is an amazing environment for anything, but you can't beat sporting events there. My first game was opening night. The Outlaws staff put on an incredible show for the beginning of the season. The energy was high and the music and entertainment were great! After going back for a second game (again having a great time), I attended the 4th of July game. It was crazy good! Not only was the game entertaining and exciting, but the team is STILL undefeated! What other sports team in Denver can say that? They are great! Aside from the game, the fireworks afterward were incredible. Seriously, one of the best shows I've every seen...anywhere. I was lucky enough to have tickets to sit on the field during the show, but there wasn't a bad seat in the house. If you're into fast paced, exciting, entertaining sporting events, give the Outlaws a try! They are much more inexpensive than some other sporting events and there's no better place to be on a warm summer night than Mile High. Even if you don't know LAX, check it out. I had no knowledge of the sport before this year and I'm quickly learning to love it! The fast pace, high scores and excitement will keep you interested without knowing all the rules. Overall, the Outlaws are well worth checking out, whether with your family or some friends. I don't have kids and went with a group of 20 and 30 somethings and we were not bothered by the amount of families and kids at all. It's a nice, balanced crowd. Go see them this season! Did you know Denver had an outdoor Lacrosse team called the Outlaws? Did you know they play at Mile High? I sure didn't until a super cool Yelp event popped up in my email, so I thought I need to check this out! I'm glad I did because I'd love to g0 back! The tickets are $10 and well worth it. The team gives you non-stop action from begging to end. The game is not difficult to understand and keep up with. The Outlaws come complete with cheerleaders and Jo Jo the War Drummer! It's fun!! ZERO STARS!!!! This is the single most asinine and offensive "professional sporting event" (if you can even call it that) that I have ever had the displeasure of attending (and that includes a Colorado Crush arena football game). Outlaws games are more akin to a circus (and a bad one at that). Note: this is coming from a college lacrosse fan (Johns Hopkins). 1.) They play loud music THE ENTIRE GAME! Not only that, but they only play 10-20 second snippets of songs before starting a new one without any rhyme or reason. Never mind the fact that there is a freaking game happening simultaneously with this bizarre music compilation by some wanna-be DJ. Additionally, there is some dork banging huge drums on the field, completely out of sync with what is being played through the loudspeakers. 2.) There are soooooo many tv timeouts. And they last forever! Everyone (players, coaches, referees, etc.) are just standing around waiting for Altitude (or whoever broadcasts this abomination) to come back from a 5 minute commercial break! 3.) Most of the fans know NOTHING about the sport of lacrosse, calling for penalties in the most laughable situations imaginable. 4.) What's worse, the vast majority of the fans aren't even watching the freaking game! They're just trying to get on the fan cam, which is constantly running, even during the actual gameplay. 5.) IT'S EXPENSIVE! $10-$30 for regular seats up to $45 for the more expensive ones. You could get pretty good seats at Coors field for the same price or less and have a vastly better experience. And there's no break at the concessions stands either! Quite frankly, the only way I was able to stomach this horrendous event was by consuming multiple overpriced IPAs, thereby giving this franchise WAY more money than they deserve (the only good thing is that Sports Authority Field has a pretty good beer selection). 6.) There are unsupervised children (most with lacrosse sticks) EVERYWHERE! They're in the stands. They're on the sidelines. At one point, there were half a dozen kids using the dancing cheerleaders as slalom gates while they were racing each other . . . on the field! That's a lawsuit waiting to happen when some unsupervised kid takes a 5 ounce hard rubber ball off the dome while he's running around the field. 7.) Everything about it is amateurish. From the halftime show (dogs catching frisbees; it's like they literally happened upon these people during the day and said, "Hey, wanna come perform at the Outlaws' game tonight?") to the concessions. They couldn't get the soda fountain to give me a regular coke because they couldn't figure out how to hook up the syrup. Also, I bought a beer in a can, and they literally handed me the unopened can of beer to take. Do they have any idea of the damage I could have caused if I was a drunk jerk and threw that beer at a "fan" or onto the field?! Seriously! There's a reason why they pour it for you at a real sporting event. The point is, if you really don't give a crap about what you are there to watch and all you want to do is behave like a moron trying to get on the jumbo-tron, then by all means goto an Outlaws game. If, however, you would actually like to enjoy a real sporting event, goto a Rockies game. And if you really like lacrosse, going to a DU Pioneers game is infinitely better than having to sit through this crap. Final Point: The quality of play isn't really "professional" level. There are at least a dozen college teams that would wipe the floor with the 10-0 Denver Outlaws. read more

My daughter was performing the Star Spangled Banner with her choir there before the Outlaws game. It was pretty cool. I've never been to a Lacrosse game before and it was totally cool. Give LAX a chance! This is my first season attending any Outlaws games, and I've already made it to three. I had seen Mammoth games before, and really enjoyed the fast pace of lacrosse. Sure enough, the Outlaws deliver just as much excitement...and then some! Not only is the game super exciting (hello, men getting beat with sticks and hurling a hard rubber ball at high speeds?), but the in-game entertainment is awesome. The Outlaws do a fantastic job getting the crowd engaged during down-time from the game with great music, the mascot, Stix, and features on the big-screen (pick-up lines from the team's 70-year-old general manager and players doing karaoke)! It's a super family-friendly environment, but also perfect for the 20/30-something crowd looking for something different to do on a Saturday night (like myself). For the past ten years I have gone to the Rockies' fireworks games/shows for the 4th of July, but this year I decided to mix it up and try the Outlaws instead. I'm so glad I did! The Outlaws put on a fantastic show, using the new video screen to compliment their fireworks. It was a great change of pace from the "same old show" over at Coors Field. Overall, my experience at Outlaws games has far surpassed my expectations. Avoid the crowds, high ticket prices, and downtown scene of Coors Field and check out what the Outlaws are up to sometime! read more

This was my second year attending the 4th of July Outlaws game, and once again I had so much fun! My friends and I arrived early to tailgate, and there was plenty of parking and space to be found. Everyone tailgating was respectful of people's space too. The game itself was awesome! This was my 3rd game this season, and I attended all but one home game last year, and I can't get enough. I had never experienced lacrosse before, who knew I would love it?! The games are intense and exciting; never a dull moment. The 4th of July game was probably the best I've seen yet! What a team! And the fireworks! Wow! The videos, music and fireworks were amazing to watch. The jumbo screen is so big sometimes I found myself just watching that instead of the fireworks, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. If you haven't experienced a lacrosse game yet, hurry before the season is over! And if you're wanting a great place to catch a game and fireworks on the 4th, Mile High is the place to be! Never having been to a lacrosse game, a friend invited me to see the Outlaws on the 4th of July this year. My husband and I had a wonderful time! The game was exciting, fast-paced like hockey. I enjoyed it and look forward to attending more games in the future, for sure. The atmosphere was very nice for folks of all ages. We also found the concession staff to be very kind and helpful. Although the game was not a sell-out, there were still lots of stands open with lots of different food & drinks to choose from. Mile High stadium is an amazing venue, and the added bonus was a fantastic fireworks show after the game. I've seen some pretty spectacular fireworks shows at placed including Disneyland, in Las Vegas, other sporting events, etc. This was one of the best I've seen... Beautifully synchronized to music and videos on the big screen... A great show! Highly recommend it! read more
