We were in town for spring break and one of the local attractions on our itinerary was to catch a Rockies game at Coors Field. It happens to be their home opening weekend and they were going against the highly touted Philadelphia Phillies. We arrived to Coors Field on a Saturday for an evening game. The stadium is located in a nice area in downtown Denver. Paid parking is accessible along the streets, multiple parking lots, and parking garages all around. There was a jersey hoodie giveaway to the first 20,000 fans so we decided to arrive a little earlier than usual. The jersey hoodie was good quality for a free giveaway. It was a nice touch. We were able to walk around before the game started and see how beautiful the stadium was. It looked like every seat had a great view. As for food we ordered the Tournadough pretzel twister with butter and Parmesan, Rocky Mountain oysters with fries, Rockie Dog, a tall Elysian Space Dust and a couple of Chardonnay wines. Everything was delicious. The Tornadough was a tasty combo of both sweet and salty. It was soft and chewy in a pleasant way. The Rocky Mountain oysters were unique and crispy. I could not tell it was bull testicles. Lol. The Rockie Dog was scrumptious with all the toppings and condiments. Overall we enjoyed our experience at Coors Field. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The game itself was entertaining at times but I wish there could have been more scoring due to the infamous Denver "thin air." We were able to catch the sunset from our seats which was amazing. The price point of all the food and the tickets were more than fair. I hope to be back when my favorite baseball team, the San Francisco Giants play vs the Rockies. read more

My first baseball game at the young ripe age of 40! Went to see the Colorado Rockies vs. San Diego Padres and it was a lot of fun. Coors Field was clean, easy to get around, and had tons of concession stands. It's also in a great location with plenty of hotels, bars, and restaurants nearby, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely glad this ended up being my first baseball game. read more

We were seated at section 146 and had a nice experience. Plenty of good food options. Take sunglasses, a hat and sunscreen if you go during the day and will be in an area not shaded. We luckily got shaded seats that were perfect. Some of the seats are very narrow, even for regular sized people so research the best seats for you. Overall it's a very nice laid back ball field with great fans. read more

Always a great experience no matter who the Rockies are playing. The backdrop is the Colorado sky which always displays some amazing sky art. The customer service team always keeps the crowd going with great music to sing along with and games to play. The food vendors are awesome with every imaginable delicacy. If you manage to get tickets to one of the fireworks nights you are in for a real treat; it's definitely one of the best fireworks displays I've ever seen. Surprisingly, they let you bring your own bottled water into the ballpark. The line to enter is short and moves quick. For a Saturday night game, we sat at field level, behind home plate. I like that the staff didn't let people head down the stairs during a pitch, or while the ball was in play. However, they didn't do this where we sat in right field, the following day. Not surprisingly, people were constantly getting up to walk by, without waiting for the pitch or play to be completed. Beyond Burgers aren't overly priced at $10.65 each. A 19.2-ounce can of beer for $17.09 is another story. I also had a pint of Altitude Adjustment IPA from Sandlot Brewery for $13.19, which was average. I like that Coors Field doesn't overdo it with the fan cam, or other screen antics, so I was able to enjoy the game without distraction. read more

very nice field. located in Downtown, it's easily accessible by foot from most of the local hotels. plenty of bars around to pregame/postgame at. we came for the Dodgers game on an unusually snowy and freezing April evening. temps dropped below freezing. lots of traditional stadium eateries as well as some eclectic offerings that we didn't have the privilege of trying. had to stick with the classics. we got amazing seats at the bleachers for about a fifth of the price for comparable seats at Dodger stadium. highly recommend. read more

Even though I'm a Chicago White Sox fan I decided to check out Coors field to see the Colorado Rockies game while I was in town visiting Colorado. This stadium is very nice from the inside and outside. Since it is the beginning of baseball season it was definitely a lot of fans filling the seats up and these fans are so laid back and loyal to their team. Overall I definitely had a great time at the ballpark watching the game. It's definitely a great place to bring the kids and family along. read more

Oh, who doesn't love to go to a ball game? Also Colorado has one of the nicer stadiums in all of Major league baseball this past year and will be ranked number five so you know that's good. It was opening day weekend and the people I went with were rooting for the Philadelphia Phillies for myself, I had no skin in the game but baseball has always been my favorite sport so I can go to a game anytime. Being opening weekend, the giveaway was free hoodies and when we got there two hours plus before the game, there was already a long line that really moved really quickly once it started going, good job Coors field staff. Like any ballpark you'll have the standard peanuts, popcorn, cracker, jacks and hotdog, etc. etc. and then what I like this day and age you get things that are local to the ballpark area so everyone can have a little something different. By the end of the game, the Phillies came out on top and getting back to our car and back on the freeway was really not that bad at all. Coors Field is very reasonably priced so if you've got nothing to do when you find yourself in Denver this summer definitely come see a game. You won't be disappointed no matter the outcome. read more

Went to last Fridays baseball game - Rockies vs Pirates and it was such a fun and exciting game. This place is big and has some beautiful views all around. We purposedly bought tickets in section 318 for the sunset views and we were able to watch it as the game went on. We stopped by the team shop and they were unfortunately out of a lot of sizes. We bought some beer, chicken tenders, a hot dog, and some dip n dots and it was all good. The Rockies ended up wining the game - 17 to 16 and everyone went crazy.. Yay! read more

I had a great time at my first Rockies game, and Coors Field is a great ballpark overall. The prices are pretty on par with other MLB stadiums I've been to, but I just wish there were more diverse food options. I highly recommend the berrie kabobs! Make sure you get to the rooftop before the first pitch for $3 beers. It seems like most seats have a great view of the field, and I loved that they mark the mile-high point of the stadium with a row of purple seats. The views from higher up in the stadium are awesome. read more

This stadium has some of the best rules I've heard of. You can bring in outside food and an empty water bottle to fill up inside at the water fountain. There isn't a clear bag policy, and you can bring a bag as long as it only has one pocket, so I brought my tote bag. The tickets were so affordable, and I paid about $65 for a pretty good seat, but then I snuck to an even better seat with my friend who was sitting behind the batter box. There were soooooo many more Dodgers than Rockies fans, which was pretty funny to see. The crowd was largely cheering for the Dodgers. I learned that the crowd tends to be bigger for the away team. They had to pause the game due to thunderstorms, which sucked as everyone crowded together to take cover, and it was so difficult to move around that there could've easily been a crowd crush. read more

Coors Field is a great place for a concert and last night we went to see Paul McCartney. One of the issues I had was with crowd control on the main concourse. There has to be a way to avoid the crush and standstill created mostly by the merch tables. The lines were terrible- even 2 hours before the start of the concert and it was almost impossible to get to the food. That said, there were quite a few staff and they were all helpful and friendly. There were good food options - especially for a stadium. We ended up John Dough Pizza so thats what we got. The pizza was enough for 2 people to share and not bad. They were making the fresh pizzas as we were in line. The restrooms were large with plenty of room and no wait until the concert ended. Our seats were on the field in the front row of the 2nd section. All the field seats were folding chairs with no arms that were zip tied together and they couldn't have been any closer together. I felt like I knew the woman next to me pretty well by the end. If there had been any larger people there would not have been any room at all. I know it's all about making money but a little consideration for the fans comfort would have been nice. The stage had big screens on both sides so everyone could see and the special effects included lasers, fireworks, and for the finale, confetti cannons. The sound system was top notch and the lighting was great. I would have to really, really love the artist to go back for another concert. read more

I didn't have tickets, but I still wandered around Coors Field just to check it out--and honestly, it was worth the stroll. The brick exterior has that old-school ballpark charm, and the views of the mountains peeking through the skyline? Chef's kiss. There were fans pouring in, the smell of hot dogs in the air, and music drifting out from inside. Even without seeing the game, it felt alive. I lingered near the gate long enough to almost feel like I was part of it--minus the $12 beer. Fun little walk with good vibes and baseball energy. 4 stars for the atmosphere alone. read more

I went to a company sponsored event in the sky box private suite to host some of our customers. It was very spacious with a great view on the game. Nice cushioned seats. They came out with beef and chicken tacos, beef hotdogs, salads, and we had bartender to craft mixed drinks and cocktails. What an incredibly beautiful Park! Great food and beer in a fun mellow environment Where if you are there from an opposing team, you're not being bashed (like going to LA). I've been to several games at Coors Field between 2011 to 2024 and have never once had a negative experience. Always have found parking pretty easy surrounding the stadium, and have always felt safe walking through that area of downtown. Personally I've entered the stadium through the home plate gate and the 1st base side gate without issue. The team store is on the 1st base side and the Authentics (game used) team store is kind of a kiosk out on the 3rd Base/left field side. I suggest going up to the upper deck and finding the mile high level marked seats to take your pictures here. Also, if you've got some time before or after the game, go see the ballpark museum one block away from the home plate gate. read more

I just recently took in the three game series versus the San Francisco Giants, June 10-12, as well I did a stadium tour this past Tuesday, the 11th. I must compliment the city of Denver and the Rockies organization on producing and providing quite a nice baseball stadium. I enjoyed the venue. I sat in three different areas for each game to get a variety of experiences. I found game tickets to be relatively reasonable, even for really good seats down near the field. But then again I am used to California's inflated prices and in comparison it is rather more affordable to attend a game in Colorado. The stadium tour I went on was quite well done and informative. It provided some good insights and was entertaining, though it did seem more on the brief side and I thought it ended a bit abruptly, especially in comparison to other stadium tours I have taken. read more

Was visiting Denver for the first time from San Francisco and the Giants just happened to be playing the Rockies during the same week. I bought the closest seats I could find, about six rows behind home plate, and it was an amazing experience! The ballpark definitely had its own flavor, like how most ballparks do, and I enjoyed seeing their dinosaur mascot Dinger. I sat next to some really nice people and really enjoyed myself throughout the game. Even saw and heard a little bit of thunder. Parking was easy to find outside. I chose a metered spot a couple blocks from the ballpark, which had a two hour limit. As a result, I had to leave during the 8th inning, but at least we won and I dodged the post game traffic! There is a row of purple seats that represents the 1000 ft altitude point! The chocolate dip strawberry and banana on a stick was a star. Tons of people were getting it. I went to the Rockies last game of the season and had a lot of fun! It was an interesting and convenient thing to do on a Sunday afternoon, so I was happy to snag a same-day ticket. The stadium seems well designed, with a nice big concourse. It's fairly easy to navigate, and the amenities were easy to find. The food was subpar, nothing fancy but not terrible either. I haven't been to many stadiums, but as far as I can tell, it's fairly run of the mill. I do wish there was better signage for the different food options though. It was sometimes hard to tell what was offered at each location until you got up closer than where the line started. The bathrooms were also clean and seemed to be well-maintained, which is essential to any place serving this size capacity. The biggest area where I was disappointed was the staff. From my observations (granted, at the end of the season), the staff seemed to be unorganized and ill-trained. During the game, someone near me had a medical emergency and it took a very long time for them to receive assistance. The staff member covering our section didn't have a radio to request medical and panicked when asked for help. It was several minutes before other people in the section took the matter into their own hands and carried the passed out individual to the open concourse, still in the sun. Even when medical did arrive, they did not move the overheated elderly person off the hot concrete and into the shade. Near the end of the game, one staff member realized it was my first time at the stadium and encouraged me to see the view from the top of the stadium. I went that way, and was immediately yelled at by another staff member for going in the opposite direction of the exit. Then, I walked to the next section and the person at that section was welcoming and encouraged me to enjoy the view. It was very strange how differently they all acted. Hopefully they get on the same page and get faster-acting medical teams for the start of the next season! read more

Beautiful park! Lots of concessions here. Park has plenty of stuff going on pre-game. Kids area in the outfield. Tip: get to the Rooftop Bar for $3 beers BEFORE the first pitch! Lots of views of the field from most all areas. Look for Gary in section 144. He's been great with advice and just excellent to talk to. A very friendly staff....
