A baseball stadium should reveal the soul of its city. Some ballparks scream their identity. On the night of July third, Coors Field gave a mild shrug. I have spent decades traveling from city to city, paying ridiculous sums of money for hot dogs and whatever the local delicacy is in the name of personal research. I am not a terribly difficult customer to please. We walked to Coors from Union Station, which was a lovely, effortless stroll through the city. Any municipality that allows people to easily walk to a ballgame gets immediate points in my ledger. My seat was located exactly one row above the famous line of purple seats. Those purple seats mark precisely one mile above sea level. It is an entirely arbitrary planetary measurement, but it is a pleasant touch. The food was aggressively ordinary. Ballpark food is expensive everywhere, which is a known hazard of the economy, but the local specialties here lacked any real imagination. Nothing on the menu inspired a second thought. There was also a strange bureaucratic wrinkle during my visit. Because of the postgame fireworks, the stadium authorities locked down the entire outfield concourse. Unless you possessed a ticket for an outfield section or the Rockpile, you were forbidden from walking through it. I could see perfectly interesting vendors from a distance, but they were treated like classified property. It is a frustrating way to experience a stadium. The fireworks at the end of the night were loud and bright, but they lacked teeth. I have watched the Independence Day show at Citizen's Bank Park in Philadelphia many times over the years. The Denver display came up drastically short by comparison. Coors Field is cleanish, comfortable, and easy to access on foot. It is a perfectly adequate facility for watching athletes hit a ball with a piece of wood. It simply never breaks out of the middle of the pack. If you are in town, go see a game. Just don't plan your whole trip around it.
Coors Field is one of the best baseball stadiums I have been to. While the home team may be struggling, the setting of Coors field in downtown Denver can't be beat - the views at sunset are spectacular! Pro tip - if you go to the Silver Bullet Bar, in the 300 section, you can find $3 beers until first pitch. You can get two beers at a time, so keep that in mind as well. The stadium is very clean and well kept as are the bathrooms. The upper deck has plenty of picnic tables and a variety of seating where you can still watch the game on TVs. Coors Field is a staple of Denver, so let's hope those Rockies get back on their feet!
Stadium 29/30. I LOVED Coors Field. We caught a day game on Sunday vs the Giants. Cheap tickets, cheap parking right down the street. EVERY single person we interacted with was awesome! The vendors, the ushers, everyone! I loved the vibe of the place. They have a designated driver booth where you can get a free soda/water. They have a "First time visitor to Coors Field" booth where you can get a little certificate printed out with your name on it. They have Rocky Mountain Oysters! (I had never had them, and knew I had to try them.) They give you about 6 in an order, with fries. My son had no idea what they were, and mowed down 4 of the 6 before I googled what they were for him lol. He made a weird face, but he really liked them. I thought they were ok. Like a chewy sliced sausage. Wouldn't get them again, but I'm glad I tried them. All concessions were reasonably priced! Got to see a bunch of HRS, and the Rockies came back to win the game on a HR in the 8th. I really enjoyed my time here and it's one of my favorite baseball stadiums I have been to. Must do if you are in Denver during baseball season!
Foods a little over priced and parking too. The stadium is great and the field crew are amazing especially on snow games or hail games. They get the field up and ready. I tend to park way up on California and just walk down not only do I beat the traffic I also get to swing by restaurants off of 16th st. The stadium has some of the best Colorado sunsets and the fireworks from 4th July are amazing as well.
Take me out to the ball game and don't forget about the popcorn! We took my family to a baseball game and it happens to be on kids day. So the popcorn was only five dollars! We got really great covered seats and the staff was super friendly. One of my family members needs a little extra time walking to the stadium so I definitely think there needs to be a closer drop off for people with accessibility needs. It was a little chaotic to be dropped off across the street and then have the other part of our party go find parking somewhere else. I definitely hope they improve a drop off system, but overall the game in the crowd was great! And keep up the great deals on popcorn prices
Coors Field was my 30th current ballpark that I needed to visit. I made my visit for a Friday in June while my hometown Pittsburgh Pirates were there. First, everyone is extremely friendly. People in the souvenir shop, ushers, and vendors were all great. I was able to get club seats in 216 on Seat Geek much cheaper than through the box office ($47.00 per ticket) and that was row a. We arrived around 5:00 to go to the rooftop for the $ 3.00 beer promotion which is a nice perk, plus I wanted to walk around to experience the park itself. Even for being 30 years old this is a great place to watch a ballgame. I didn't have any other concessions because we ate prior to the game but if you are around, Coors Field is definitely worth enjoying a ballgame at. Plenty of places to enjoy before/after the game and just an overall good atmosphere. Hopefully the home team's performance improves.
Saw Noah Kahan at this venue a few weeks ago. While it took forever to get in as different gate agents were providing varying levels of service, it was pretty smooth sailing inside. The merch lines went super quick and the workers at food stands were super friendly and helpful! Even though I had nose bleed seats the audio was phenomenal, I'm almost sure the music could be heard in Boulder.
Take me out to the ball game CHEAP! Did you know you could go to a Home game to see the Rockies for $4.00? It's the truth! On Home game night, show up at The Coors field and purchase a ticket at Gate "A", two hours before the game starts, for only $4 a ticket!! Seniors and students are $1.00. Then head to the Rooftop for a $3.00 Coors draft beer! The price is only good before the first pitch!
As a visiting dodger fan we were so impressed with Coors field. The staff have been the friendliest out of all the stadiums I have been to thus far. They were so kind to my daughter and gave her a first visit certificate. She was beyond thrilled. I had heard they had a variety of food options, but I'm there wasn't as much variety as I had come across at Rate Field for instance. But no complaints here, any stadium food is better than what dodger stadium has to offer. But I was most amazed at how cheap the food was. What a great time .
There is a huge benefit when the team is and cause you can get incredible seats for a cheap price. Nothing else is cheap when you go to a sport game. I did get a pretzel and it was only $7 (only lol). But the atmosphere is incredible. Beautiful stadium, welcoming staff and a good time was had.
My first baseball game at the young ripe age of 40! Went to see the Colorado Rockies vs. San Diego Padres and it was a lot of fun. Coors Field was clean, easy to get around, and had tons of concession stands. It's also in a great location with plenty of hotels, bars, and restaurants nearby, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely glad this ended up being my first baseball game.
I had not visited Coors Field in a number of years and really enjoyed the recent experience. Located in LoDo (Lower Downtown), the ballpark was a short, pleasant walk from our hotel. We really appreciated the clean, well-maintained facility and enjoyed the great views of the Rocky Mountains.
Awesome crowd as I have my GIANTS hat on AND MY ROCKIES shirt on and nothing but smiles from everyone. Great food and beverage awesome entertainment what more can ya say.
Ballpark #11! Several years ago, I decided I was going to try to see a game in all 30 MLB Ballparks. Life has gotten in the way the past 2 years, but I finally got to fly out to Denver for a quick trip just to see a game at Coors Field and I absolutely had a blast! I grabbed a ticket for section 235 and was very happy with my seat! Perfect view of the game from behind the 3rd base line. Plus, the weather couldn't have been better that day! These seats reminded me a lot of the seat I had at Nationals Ballpark. Every single employee I interacted with was incredibly kind and helpful. I could not have asked for better service as far as that goes. Concession prices are what you think they are going to be. A Coke Zero and a Bavarian pretzel cost me roughly $18. lol Whatever. How do you go to a ballgame and NOT enjoy some fun food? :) As for the game itself, it started out pretty brutal for the home team going down 11-1. Then about the time I start exploring and walking around the main concourse, they start scoring to keep it fun and interesting. They lost 12-8, but 20 runs of offense was a lot of fun to watch! :) I always get a shirt and a hat from every ballpark, but these prices are brutal and that's even factoring in I'm expecting it to be pricey. $50 for a hat and $50 for a t-shirt. Sheesh. Their hats cost the same as the Dodgers when I went. That is wild to me, but ok. lol Coors Field was every bit as fun as I was hoping it would be! This is one of those ballparks I would love to come back to one day. You know, after I see #30! 5 stars. read more
I visited Coors Field to see the 50K+ (sold out) Noah Kahan show in July 2026. This review is based on that experience, as I am sure a Rockies game experience would be a lot different. I have been to a few MLB parks. Coors Field is fairly nice and has lots of food and drink options. I was a bit bummed with the NA selection, especially since Coors sells two different NA beers of their own. You could only really find NA options at one or two vendors in the whole park. Regular drinks could be found just about anywhere. I didn't try any of the food aside from the frozen cheesecake on a stick, which is as good as you'd think it was. The restrooms here are kind of a bummer. They are outdated, and the women's lines were out of control. The sound quality for a concert was good, and luckily we had great seats, though some of the seats were literally behind the stage, and you certainly could not see anything from them. I am glad we didn't buy those seats! The iconic purple row of seats is a fun easter egg of the stadium, and I thought the overall aesthetic was good. I can't comment on parking as we walked over from a friend's place who lives nearby, but it's super walkable from Union Station and downtown, even from RiNo if you're up for a bit longer of a walk. Overall, a nice ballpark. I would return for a baseball game, with the hope that it was not as insanely crowded as this Noah Kahan show. read more

This was my first time at a game here. We went in July for a Reds V Rockies game and sat on the 1st base side for afternoon shade. Some people in our section were getting irritated with each other ...lots of Reds fans and local people trading barbs. Thankfully, the ushers put a stop to it after a couple innings and things were great afterward. Affordable tickets to the game help ease the pain of concessions. They were very, VERY expensive. Surprised at the crowd size as neither team had great records at the time! Super easy walk from a hotel a couple blocks away. Very nice stadium to see a ball game in! read more

We were in town for spring break and one of the local attractions on our itinerary was to catch a Rockies game at Coors Field. It happens to be their home opening weekend and they were going against the highly touted Philadelphia Phillies. We arrived to Coors Field on a Saturday for an evening game. The stadium is located in a nice area in downtown Denver. Paid parking is accessible along the streets, multiple parking lots, and parking garages all around. There was a jersey hoodie giveaway to the first 20,000 fans so we decided to arrive a little earlier than usual. The jersey hoodie was good quality for a free giveaway. It was a nice touch. We were able to walk around before the game started and see how beautiful the stadium was. It looked like every seat had a great view. As for food we ordered the Tournadough pretzel twister with butter and Parmesan, Rocky Mountain oysters with fries, Rockie Dog, a tall Elysian Space Dust and a couple of Chardonnay wines. Everything was delicious. The Tornadough was a tasty combo of both sweet and salty. It was soft and chewy in a pleasant way. The Rocky Mountain oysters were unique and crispy. I could not tell it was bull testicles. Lol. The Rockie Dog was scrumptious with all the toppings and condiments. Overall we enjoyed our experience at Coors Field. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The game itself was entertaining at times but I wish there could have been more scoring due to the infamous Denver "thin air." We were able to catch the sunset from our seats which was amazing. The price point of all the food and the tickets were more than fair. I hope to be back when my favorite baseball team, the San Francisco Giants play vs the Rockies. read more

One of the best newer Ball parks to visit. Most of the staff are very friendly at most of the vendor Booths. There's all kinds of stuff for kids to do lots of different seating options. If you don't wanna just sit in a normal baseball seat. Including many restaurants and a sky top bar. The field is beautiful and the outfield is very beautiful as well. Pretty much any type of food you could possibly want. Very affordable compared to other Ball parks. read more
Love Coors Field! Gorgeous ballpark with a gorgeous view! The ambiance during game day is great, and the ushers are very helpful. The food is good, but it's ballpark food (hot dogs and burgers). I will come here at least 10-20 times this summer! read more
Always a great experience no matter who the Rockies are playing. The backdrop is the Colorado sky which always displays some amazing sky art. The customer service team always keeps the crowd going with great music to sing along with and games to play. The food vendors are awesome with every imaginable delicacy. If you manage to get tickets to one of the fireworks nights you are in for a real treat; it's definitely one of the best fireworks displays I've ever seen. Can't wait to go to my first game for 2026! read more

We were seated at section 146 and had a nice experience. Plenty of good food options. Take sunglasses, a hat and sunscreen if you go during the day and will be in an area not shaded. We luckily got shaded seats that were perfect. Some of the seats are very narrow, even for regular sized people so research the best seats for you. Overall it's a very nice laid back ball field with great fans. read more

Went to last Fridays baseball game - Rockies vs Pirates and it was such a fun and exciting game. This place is big and has some beautiful views all around. We purposedly bought tickets in section 318 for the sunset views and we were able to watch it as the game went on. We stopped by the team shop and they were unfortunately out of a lot of sizes. We bought some beer, chicken tenders, a hot dog, and some dip n dots and it was all good. The Rockies ended up wining the game - 17 to 16 and everyone went crazy.. Yay! read more
Coors Field is gorgeous! As I make my way to every MLB ballpark, this experience did not disappoint. The rooftop offers a view of the Rocky Mountains and amazing view of the field. The concessions provide many unique options and the staff were super friendly. read more
I had a great time at my first Rockies game, and Coors Field is a great ballpark overall. The prices are pretty on par with other MLB stadiums I've been to, but I just wish there were more diverse food options. I highly recommend the berrie kabobs! Make sure you get to the rooftop before the first pitch for $3 beers. It seems like most seats have a great view of the field, and I loved that they mark the mile-high point of the stadium with a row of purple seats. The views from higher up in the stadium are awesome. read more
This stadium has some of the best rules I've heard of. You can bring in outside food and an empty water bottle to fill up inside at the water fountain. There isn't a clear bag policy, and you can bring a bag as long as it only has one pocket, so I brought my tote bag. The tickets were so affordable, and I paid about $65 for a pretty good seat, but then I snuck to an even better seat with my friend who was sitting behind the batter box. There were soooooo many more Dodgers than Rockies fans, which was pretty funny to see. The crowd was largely cheering for the Dodgers. I learned that the crowd tends to be bigger for the away team. They had to pause the game due to thunderstorms, which sucked as everyone crowded together to take cover, and it was so difficult to move around that there could've easily been a crowd crush. read more
very nice field. located in Downtown, it's easily accessible by foot from most of the local hotels. plenty of bars around to pregame/postgame at. we came for the Dodgers game on an unusually snowy and freezing April evening. temps dropped below freezing. lots of traditional stadium eateries as well as some eclectic offerings that we didn't have the privilege of trying. had to stick with the classics. we got amazing seats at the bleachers for about a fifth of the price for comparable seats at Dodger stadium. highly recommend. read more

A Ballpark That Feels Like Community! Coors Field is more than just a place to watch a baseball game--it's a space where people come together and share a meaningful experience. As someone who studies communication and popular culture, I see the stadium as a great example of how everyday places can bring people closer and create a sense of connection. From the moment you walk in, there is a strong feeling of shared identity. Fans wearing Rockies gear, the views of the mountains, and the excitement of the crowd all contribute to a sense of belonging. These moments reflect a key idea from my field: popular culture helps shape how people see themselves as part of a larger community. Even small details--like enjoying classic ballpark food or browsing team merchandise--add to the experience. These simple activities are part of what scholars describe as everyday cultural practices, where meaning, identity, and enjoyment come together in ordinary settings. There is also something special about the atmosphere itself. Whether it is your first game or one of many, the traditions of baseball create a sense of familiarity and continuity. The game connects to decades of stories, memories, and shared experiences, making each visit feel both personal and part of something bigger. Overall, Coors Field stands out not only because it is a beautiful and enjoyable place, but because it highlights how everyday experiences--like spending an evening at a ballgame--can bring people together in meaningful ways. A welcoming, vibrant space that captures the spirit of community and shared experience. read more

Oh, who doesn't love to go to a ball game? Also Colorado has one of the nicer stadiums in all of Major league baseball this past year and will be ranked number five so you know that's good. It was opening day weekend and the people I went with were rooting for the Philadelphia Phillies for myself, I had no skin in the game but baseball has always been my favorite sport so I can go to a game anytime. Being opening weekend, the giveaway was free hoodies and when we got there two hours plus before the game, there was already a long line that really moved really quickly once it started going, good job Coors field staff. Like any ballpark you'll have the standard peanuts, popcorn, cracker, jacks and hotdog, etc. etc. and then what I like this day and age you get things that are local to the ballpark area so everyone can have a little something different. By the end of the game, the Phillies came out on top and getting back to our car and back on the freeway was really not that bad at all. Coors Field is very reasonably priced so if you've got nothing to do when you find yourself in Denver this summer definitely come see a game. You won't be disappointed no matter the outcome. read more
Coors Field is a great place for a concert and last night we went to see Paul McCartney. One of the issues I had was with crowd control on the main concourse. There has to be a way to avoid the crush and standstill created mostly by the merch tables. The lines were terrible- even 2 hours before the start of the concert and it was almost impossible to get to the food. That said, there were quite a few staff and they were all helpful and friendly. There were good food options - especially for a stadium. We ended up John Dough Pizza so thats what we got. The pizza was enough for 2 people to share and not bad. They were making the fresh pizzas as we were in line. The restrooms were large with plenty of room and no wait until the concert ended. Our seats were on the field in the front row of the 2nd section. All the field seats were folding chairs with no arms that were zip tied together and they couldn't have been any closer together. I felt like I knew the woman next to me pretty well by the end. If there had been any larger people there would not have been any room at all. I know it's all about making money but a little consideration for the fans comfort would have been nice. The stage had big screens on both sides so everyone could see and the special effects included lasers, fireworks, and for the finale, confetti cannons. The sound system was top notch and the lighting was great. I would have to really, really love the artist to go back for another concert. read more

Kyle Freeland is still our favorite player mainly because we love Ashley Freeland she's such a sweet and beautiful soul. Had another wonderful day at Coors. Even though I'm a Chicago White Sox fan I decided to check out Coors field to see the Colorado Rockies game while I was in town visiting Colorado. This stadium is very nice from the inside and outside. Since it is the beginning of baseball season it was definitely a lot of fans filling the seats up and these fans are so laid back and loyal to their team. Overall I definitely had a great time at the ballpark watching the game. It's definitely a great place to bring the kids and family along. read more

Don't waste your money here- this should never be a concert venue, pretending it is is a messy, poorly put together money grab. Over 3/4 of the venue can't see anything on stage. Denver is a concert hub, coors field should never be apart of it if they don't have the ability to host it appropriately. Paid for $400 tickets to look at a net, the back of tents, and a blocked stage. sound also is muffled and not very clear. Maybe the nose bleed seats are worth the price so you can see over the net and huge unused space on the field. Getting around anywhere in the walk ways was incredibly difficult and left me feeling like it was a safety issue. Not sure I'd go back for a concert unless you're on the ground directly in front or in nose bleeds, the rest of the seats aren't worth what they cost read more
