The first issue was some very twisty plumbing under our kitchen sink. They came out in a couple days (it was not an emergency) and simplified everything, plus gave us some helpful suggestions. Very efficient trip, and very fair price. This week, I called on Tuesday, and got an appointment for Thursday over my lunch break to have them look at our outside spigot. Water would shoot out of the handle when you twisted it, and the screw holding on the handle was corroded. I didn't want to take a chance and have to turn off water to the house, so I had a professional look at it. Complicating factor - the spigot goes into the house 10 inches, then makes a hard right turn, and all of this is somewhat hidden behind floor joists. Even if I could get to it, I don't know how to sweat copper pipes. The inspection turned into a replacement, and without cutting any beams, he was done before my lunch hour was over. Very impressive efficiency. Nice guy, too. Definitely recommended.

I called a few off of Yelp and got no one who did the "rodding" job we needed. Then, we got a call from John, owner of Gottfried Sewer Rodding. He had another job he was working on, but told my husband he would call back at 8 to let us know if he could make it that night, or if we would have to wait till morning. He called at 8 and said he could do it. Wow. Very unexpected. John is so nice, explained exactly what was wrong and what it required and got to work. This man worked till 10:30 on a Friday night when he should have been kicking it at home with a beer. His price was RiDiCuLoUs!!! So low-ball I was stunned and made my own price.
