    Cream bun, boba Thai tea
    Liz B.

Last couple times I've gone here, it's been mid-afternoon and just wildly busy. The acoustics are kind of rough, so when it's full in there, it is impossible to hear the person you're sitting with. Something I would definitely encourage them to correct. Otherwise, ambience is great, tons of different types of seating and all very comfortable. This time, I came in the evening, and it was far less crowded. I love any of their pastries with pork floss and have gotten those each time. This time I also got a cream bun, an egg tart, and a boba Thai tea. Their buns are dense and chewy and delicious. I love how easy it is to take things to go. Their boba is tender and not overly sweet, a nice accompaniment to the tea . Their milk teas all do contain dairy, but the cream is lactose free. I do wish they had a completely dairy free version!

This spot had been on my radar for some time, and I was finally in the area to stop by and enjoy some snackies!! The place is so cute, so clean, and everyone was so nice. I was actually a little overwhelmed with all the options and I didnt know what to get! I ended up getting a mango green tea, a blueberry cinnamon roll, and a ham and cheese bun. The food was delicioussssss. The tea could have been sweeter but I think it was my fault with the way I ordered it. I am def coming back and trying out more of these yummy foods! So much to pick from! And the pricing is incredible worth it !!

Taro Latte with Boba and Brown Sugar Oreo Milk

Food 4/5 Service 5/5 Ambiance 5/5 First time trying Bakery 1908 after hearing rave reviews from influencers and it was a pleasant experience! We got the taro latte and brown sugar Oreo milk at 100% sweetness and the taro was creamy and fragrant. The brown sugar Oreo milk was way too sweet, but I should have adjusted the sweetness level. We also got the lemon tart and strawberry donut. The tart was more of a cheesecake consistency but the zest was great. The donut was soft and fresh! Service was excellent, there was a line of 3-4 people waiting so an employee opened up the second register to get customers going. The ambiance is modern and bright with a decent amount of seating to work or meet up with company. The parking situation is hit or miss depending on whether it's busy and there's uneven pavement and exposed pipes. Definitely recommend!

I'm on the search for the Taiwanese style cake with fruit and cream. Bakery 1908 comes close to it. It was pretty easy to order, choose a style online and call to place the order. Just give the cashier the reference number for the style and you can customize a few different aspects to it. I believe it was about $50 for the cake but it was a fairly large cake and it comes with complimentary plates, candles, and utensils. No cake knife included. Everyone at my party loved the cake. It was beautiful too.

This bakery is known for its abundance of Asian pastries, breads and dumplings. You can buy them already packaged or you can grab a tray, some tongs and pick anything you want from the glass display cases. When I say abundance, I mean there are a plethora of pastries from sweet to savory. They also have hot foods as well. The traditional dumpling soup is really good or you can build your own bowl. Either way you can't go wrong. My personal favorite was the matcha loaf which I brought home, sliced it, toasted it and slabbed some crunchy peanut butter on top. I've only been here twice since I was in the area but looks like I'll be a repeat customer for the days to come.

I've been going to Bakery 1908 since they opened and so far the baked goods have been consistently delicious. Bakery 1908 also serves as a great place to study. There are not many outlets but there are many seats and tables. The food takes awhile on a busy weekend and the pastries run out by a certain time. My most recent visit I tried their tom yum soup with dumplings and I will say that the broth was very underwhelming and did not taste great. The dumplings were full and juicy. I would stick with the pastries as a safe option. The drinks here are also made well.

It would be dangerous if I lived in Orlando because I'd be here all the time. Wasn't even planning to stop here but needed something quick after cancelling an order across the street for extended wait times. Happy accident for sure! Love the style of this place -- pick your own items (bakery) and order hot foods and drinks at the counter. Very clean and organized. Fast and easy. I could've picked anything they had! The menu was extensive and looked incredible. I got a ham and cheesy savory soufflé and a strawberry cream sweet one plus a strawberry milk tea. Everything was so good. Definitely come here!

Looks so cute! Service a little slow. Food was really good. I loved all of it. Would love to come back and try more things.

What a pretty airy bakery! Getready to be overwhelmed with too many choices, so many yummy items. As you enter, there are trays and tongs and you wander through and select from the glass cases. There are doors so nice and fresh. After that amazing selection, you head to the register for another beautiful display of refrigerated desserts. They also have a menu of drinks and tasty sounding noodles . We'd come from lunch s o that will have to be for my next trip.

Bakery 1908 on Colonial Drive has quickly become one of my favorite spots to work and meet. I came here to cowork and have a business meeting with a friend, and it was the perfect environment. The space is very spacious, spotless, and filled with beautiful natural light thanks to all the windows! Such a calm, productive atmosphere. I was able to get a solid amount of work done without feeling rushed or crowded. Food-wise, everything was delicious. I grabbed a hot dog bun from the bakery, and also ordered the chive & onion chicken pan-fried dumplings, which were so flavorful and satisfying and let's not forget the BROWN SUGAR LATTE OMGGGGG! Great ambience, clean space, amazing food, and an overall relaxing vibe. I'll absolutely be back!! Yay!! Highly recommend if you're looking for a place to work, meet, or just enjoy good food in a beautiful setting.

Beautiful interior, open and inviting. Busy but organized and polished handling. Came for the dessert. Got a piece of the the Cookies and Cream cake. Presentation alone was timeless. The service was nice. I will. One back to try the savory options.

    Flys in my wonton soup
    Shayna G.

I found multiple flies in my soup tonight, and it was extremely concerning. At first I noticed one, but after looking closer there were several small flies in the bowl and even around the lid/container. This did not seem like an isolated accident -- it made me seriously question the cleanliness and food safety practices here. I took several photos of the incident because it was honestly shocking. I understand mistakes happen, but this felt unacceptable, especially for a restaurant serving prepared food. I hope management takes this seriously, addresses any possible infestation issues immediately, and improves sanitation before serving more customers.

We recently stopped by Bakery 1908 in Orlando, the experience was definitely memorable. The bakery has a long history--established in 1908--and you can feel that tradition in the quality of their breads and pastries. We tried several items, and each one stood out in its own way: Golden Onion with Cheese & Ham - This was the star of the visit. The savory flavor and soft texture make it one of their best sellers. Our friends loved it too--unanimously! Chocolate Lava Bread - Rich, chocolatey, and satisfyingly soft. A great pick if you enjoy indulgent pastries. Coffee Bread - Smooth coffee flavor with just the right sweetness. Very enjoyable. Sweet Heart Puff - Some of our friends tried this as well and really liked it. Light, sweet, and beautifully flaky. They also offer a membership program. I signed up and received a free bread, which of course had to be another Golden Onion--too good to pass up. Overall, Bakery 1908 feels like a great spot for both savory and sweet treats, and it's easy to see why their recipes have lasted more than a century.

First up, the tofu and veggie stir-fry--a glorious mix of crispy tofu cubes with perfectly sautéed broccoli, carrots, and bok choy in a savory brown sauce that hugged every bite like a warm hug from a Chinese grandma. The beef with broccoli? Tender, flavorful, and bathed in rich umami goodness. Honestly, if I could bottle that sauce, I'd put it on everything--maybe even my cereal (don't judge). The Honey Walnut Shrimp was love at first crunch. Perfectly crispy shrimp in a creamy, sweet glaze topped with candied walnuts and nestled on a bed of fresh steamed broccoli. Light, airy, and addictive--basically the potato chip of appetizers. The pan-fried dumplings were thick, juicy, and had the perfect crispy sear. No sad, soggy dumplings here. Then came the crispy duck--dark, rich, and bursting with deep roasted flavor. It had that satisfying crunch you want, and the meat melted in your mouth. A must for meat lovers. But the real MVP? Those soup dumplings. Steamy little flavor bombs that explode in your mouth like a culinary fireworks show. Served in their own mini tins like royalty--juicy, delicate, and impossible to eat just one. The table went silent the second they landed. That's how you know it's real. We also tried a tofu wrap and a chewy shrimp wrap that was 90% wrap and had 2 mini shrimp in it. We also got the bok choy and it was okay. Very oily. The spicy oil was good. The hot tea was good as well. Bathroom was clean. Service was sporadic and the dim sum carts were not coming around nearly enough for how many people were in the dining room. The food was okay- I think if I came back I would order off the menu instead of dim sum. We were there around 1pm on Sunday. It was relatively busy and there were many people in and out of the dining room.

The thing about a Chinese restaurant is if the taste is consistent as to when you first ate there…read morebefore - your customers will keep coming back. Ordered Jumbo Shrimp Pan Fried Noodle here $16.95 takeout. While waiting for the food. I was asking the gal behind the cash register if they have been busy lately with the Chinese BBQ and she stated this past weekend they were really busy. I then told her it's because Kai Kai owners left Kai Kai and sold it maybe to another owner but they no longer run Kai Kai. So as the conversation passes she told me - The Crispy pork they cook there is NOT ROASTED but FRIED. It was brought up because i was telling her a few people have said kai kai fell off as far as taste in the bbq / meats. So then I said yes the skin part is not crispy like how you guys do it. So she mentioned she wondered why they have been busy with Chinese BBQ meats as of lately. I ordered the $4.95 boba smoothie (mango) as a refresher because it is hot outside - For the price it is not bad I think they use mango puree as the base. The dishes here are delicious. This is why I keep coming back.

Red Roast pork soup is quite the comfort food. I've enjoyed this soup for many years. Tasty Wok…read moreis an institution! I order this soup with shrimp dumplings. Each time I order it, they tell me that shrimp dumplings are extra. They are very much worth it, by the way! The noodles in this soup are egg noodles. The tender bite draws you back. The chinese spinach is nourishing and offers iron to give you strength. The crispy pork is amazing. But it is really crunchy. At this restaurant they sell it by the pound, right along side the hanging duck which is by the pound as well. They sell so many dishes that are well-loved, but I tend to get the soup. It's so nourishing and flavorful. Top tip for parking...you can park in the back, but there are many restaurants on the same aisle so you sometimes have to wait for people to leave.

If you're a hot pot lover in Orlando, Juicy Pot on West Colonial is definitely a spot that deserves…read moreall the hype -- and honestly one of my favorite places to satisfy a hot pot craving. Every visit here feels cozy, flavorful, and perfect for gathering with family and friends. Let's talk about the broth because that's the real star. My absolute go-to (and forever favorite) is the Tom Yum broth -- it's rich, aromatic, and packed with that perfect balance of sour, spicy, and savory. I love customizing it the way I grew up enjoying Thai hot pot by adding extra mushrooms, tomatoes, chili peppers, cilantro, green onions, garlic, and a squeeze of lime juice. The flavor becomes even brighter and so comforting -- seriously next level. The ingredient selection is another huge win. There's a great variety of seafood, different meats, and an abundance of fresh veggies, so you can really build your bowl exactly how you want it. Everything tastes fresh and the portions are generous, making it one of the best hot pot experiences in Orlando by far. Friendly staffs. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, which makes it perfect for both small dinners and bigger group hangouts. I love coming here with my family and friends -- it's the kind of place where you can slow down, cook together, and just enjoy the moment. Hot pot just hits differently during the cooler season, but honestly... in Florida weather, it's good any time of year. Juicy Pot is always a place I'll come back to whenever I get the chance. If you're looking for a flavorful, comforting, and consistently satisfying hot pot spot, this one is definitely worth checking out.
