I recommend trying a variety of donuts, but especially the apple fritters. I'm not sure how they get the glaze so crisp, but it is amazingly crisp, and the bits of cooked apple mixed into the dough are perfection. The storefront isn't fancy and the location may seem a bit odd for a donut shop, but I think it's part of the charm. I got 2 Apple fritters, a buttermilk donut, blueberry donut, frosted chocolate cake donut and a strawberry frosted vanilla donut. My total came out to a little over $7.00. That is such a deal for these amazing donuts! All of the donuts are great, but the $1.50 Apple fritter is the BEST. Amazing donuts! I love good old fashioned donuts without all of the fancy frills, frosting and ridiculously sweet toppings. The donut shop seems quite popular and I understand why. The service was good, and the selection was great (of course I arrived at 7:00 am to ensure I had plenty of donuts to choose).
