Great place for Donuts! Hint, go early because they sell out of their popular items early! This is a small place so pick them up and take home. They are made fresh every morning. Don't forget to get a dozen or two holes to eat on the way home!

Baker's Dozen donuts are the best in town, hands down! I've been visiting periodically for the past 18-months and every visit has been as spectacular as the last! As someone who has eaten donuts all my life, I can attest to the freshness, flavors, and consistency of BD donuts! The staff at Baker's Dozen is always speedy and cordial. They are happy to help you to assemble the best assortment of doughy treats, and then send you on your way to enjoy them. The shop itself is no frills! Wait in line, get your donuts and maybe some coffee, and head out to chow down. Highly recommend Baker's Dozen for anyone who hasn't had it, and who may be looking for your next top donut shop in Raleigh (and beyond)!

Saw the reviews and had to try these donuts and fritters. The donuts are delicious and there is a wide variety of them to choose from. The old fashion ones are my favorite. As others have said the apple fritters are the best I've ever had. After I got home I warmed one up in the microwave for 10 seconds and OMG it was crunchy on the outside and soft and slightly gooey on the inside. Run don't walk to get these.

We went here on a whim and we were so impressed! Excellent pricing and donuts were all delicious. We got a mix of yeast donuts and cake donuts and they each had lovely flavor and tasted fresh. Only tiny complaint was that the lemon filled donut did not have very even distribution of filling but that was easily solved by being cut in half and smearing the filling around. We will definitely be back!

My donut pride is no where near as sweet this box of fritters and thangs I preordered for my workshop students.

Get there EARLY if you want choices, call the day before if you need a quantity order, don't be surprised if they're out of everything by noon on a Friday, and always get an Apple fritter or Bavarian cream if they're available. Ambiance is fine if you're facing the glass case, lol, but the rest of the store is just for waiting. They don't want you to stay, there's no plan to sit, so take your donuts and go. It's better that way.

I was looking so forward to visiting this place. I've lived here 3 years and would think about going then just would change my mind. I decided to go today because I have a friend visiting so I brought a half dozen home. Service was fast as there were only a few in the store. The donut cases look appealing and clean. I got a filled raspberry glazed, filled lemon glazed, Boston cream, chocolate glazed, strawberry glazed, and a chocolate frosted sour cream. Right off the bat, I was disappointed. The raspberry and lemon filling have an off putting flavor so I am assuming it's purchased elsewhere and not made in house. While the raised doughnuts are nice and soft, they really are too commercial for me. I can tell it's not a homemade doughnut like my momma would make. The sour cream doughnut was good but the frosting on top ruined it for me. It was way too sweet and I was wishing I had gotten plain ones. Overall, if you aren't spoiled like I am by enjoying homemade doughnuts all your life, you may love these. If I was craving a doughnut I'd go back and get a plain doughnut. Not a bad place at all, just me liking homemade flavors and not factory made fillings.

Bites of joy. Great donuts. Great service. Great location off highway. Clean inside. Do know they don't accept Apple Pay.

Located next door (connected) to the Shell gas station Great find! Very good selection to choose from - not just your same-old-same-old donuts. of course they have the usuals, but you'll enjoy options The Buttermilk donut was soft & fluffy w/ a nice twang. Chocolate cake donuts had good flavor but was a little dry. Old fashioned & cinnamon sugar donuts were fresh & tasty.

Strawberry with coconut, vanilla sprinkle, chocolate sprinkle, blueberry, cinnamon sugar, crumb, chocolate on chocolate

We stopped in for a dessert while spending the day in Cary. All of the doughnuts were delicious- we tried 8 different flavors! We will definitely go back.

How are they handling COVID? Do customers and employees wear masks?

Yes, and the store is relatively big so for the few minutes that we go inside to order, we are able to socially distance. They also had hand sanitizer available.

They offer a wide range of donut flavors, cold and warm focaccia sandwiches, and coffee. The interiors were cute with the donut display being the focus point, and rightly so. There's also a window where you can see the staff measuring out and mixing ingredients. The taste of everything we ordered was delicious. We didn't say we wanted one but she charged us for one anyway. We had no idea, she didn't clarify our receipt with us, she didn't communicate much at all. As we were getting in the car, extremely disappointed and upset with the service from this establishment, she ran out to give us a cinnamon roll. She said we had forgotten but we didn't even ask to order one. I thought she was coming out to apologize for her attitude. Clearly confused, instead of explaining to us that she thought we had ordered a cinnamon roll, she just extended her arm inside the car and put the box of on the dash of my car, then went back inside without a word. She could've easily remedied the situation by simply saying, "Sorry, I didn't know you didn't want a cinnamon roll." I would've let everything go right there. Instead, she just stared at us as my sister and I were clearly perplexed by what was going on. An apology could've gone a long way and I wouldn't have felt compelled to write a review. The donuts were genuinely not bad at all but the service left such a bad taste in my mouth I can't quite cleanse.
