Very cute little place to have breakfast or lunch - there are a couple small tables inside and a few outside as well. My husband and had lunch here and ordered sandwiches that were delicious and a very rich/flavorful brownie (there are so many baked goodies to choose from). Our iced tea and lemonade were served in cute ball jars and tasted homemade. I love this little place and will be returning often. read more

Ever since I moved to Pittsburgh, my standard of coffee has grown exponentially higher. Emmaus and Macungie are small towns on the eastern side of PA that are dotted with diners and mom-and-pop shops. I was excited that Baked was a place with a similar feel to Pittsburgh businesses. Although their coffee selection is not extensive, their food choices makes up for that. Serving both breakfast and lunch, the owners take great pride in using local and organic ingredients. I have had no complaints from my family nor I about this place. Baked is my new go-to place when I'm back at home for coffee and a place to get work done. read more

Highest quality everything. Go here for brunch on a weekend. There isn't much seating but most people seem to do take-out. I love their savory tarts and just about any pastry they make. Great coffee, of course. Everything's fresh and intimate, as the kitchen and the dining area are joined together and the bakers are right there. Lovely little place. read more

They sell la colombe coffee! My favorite coffee in Philadelphia. I can't believe I've never went here before. The ambience is relaxed but hip, just like those small coffee shops you'd find in larger cities. Great place to hang out and read or study. read more

I ordered a lemon cake for m 50th birthday this past weekend, and it was one of the worst cakes I have ever had. The cake was heavy and dry and barely tasted like lemon. It had a very thin layer of lemon curd, which was suppose to be the filling, it was good but so thin there was no way it could cut through the dryness of the flavorless cake. The vanilla buttercream frosting had good flavor, but a grainy texture. Huge disappointment. My advice, find another bakery for cakes, especially when it's a once in a lifetime celebration. I was driving town and was looking for a random place to eat breakfast, I want to try a small place with a different offering. I searched google and found this place. This is the perfect example of stumbling over a gem. I walked in and was treated like a family member. The customer service is outstanding. Just tried this place for breakfast yesterday and I loved it! The woman who took our order was so friendly and welcoming. I got a coconut chocolate scone and iced coffee, my boyfriend got a cream cheese brownie, and we split a chocolate chip cookie. The scone was delicious and the coffee was good quality. The only downside is there's limited seating and the later you go, the less there is to choose from as they were beginning to sell out of some baked goods around 11ish. I WISH I COULD GIVE THEM A ZERO STAR REVIEW! They called me the day of my husband's birthday saying they did not have his cake ready and wouldn't have it until the next day???!!! Talk about a day ruined! I placed a cake order off their general list of cakes offered on their menu with more than 48 hours notice which is listed on their website that is needed for ordered cakes and I got a call at 8am the day of my pick up date 3 hours before I was coming in to pick it up with them telling me they do have it ready and I wouldn't be able to pick it up until the next day at 9am. Ridiculous! They told me the owner who is the only person who makes the cakes has a cold and would not be coming today to make my cake? Why did I need to place the order 48 hours in advance then?? If that is true why would my cake be ready at 9am the next day...that must mean the sick owner/baker would be making my cake sick and therefore getting myself and everyone who eats it sick too!! GROSS! Did they think I had multiple cakes lined up in case a bakery cancelled on me??? So unprofessional! Just tell me the truth and own up to your mistake! Thanks for ruining a birthday! read more
