Quite often, home fries are either greasy, or over-cooked, or even over-seasoned, but these were perfect. It seemed as if they had just pulled the potatoes from the ground that morning. My girlfriend had the best, "meatiest" tomato soup I have ever tasted, and her gourmet grilled cheese blew my mind. (If I didn't love her so much, I would have stolen it from her!) For dessert, we had white-chocolate raspberry cookies that were yummy beyond reproach. (The cakes in the dessert display may bring people to tears.) The biggest positive for Connie's is that everything is consistent. I've ordered numerous cakes from her and it's been good every time. Also the taste is far better than the swill that you would get for a cake at Giant, Redners, or Weis. The only downside to the store is that there is no parking at all. This bakery has its own van and travels with cakes constantly. The website even says "customizable cakes' which is obviously not the case. If the owner was scared to travel with it, they would simply keep the tiers separate and put them together at the venue as MANY other bakeries do. Happily taking my services to CAKES BY ADELE who has no issues with my wedding cake.
